As it stands now, APC can't win Ogun guber poll without Amosun's support. This is a fact that is known to everyone. The duo of Amosun and Dapo were once 'good friends' until the politics of succession tore them apart. |
Anytime I see Elrufai's picture paying homage to this same Elzakzaky prior to the 2015 election plus his terming the army ' Jonathan's Genocidal Army' when the IMN had confrontation with army back then, I tend to believe that the problem between the two of them is personal and one is using the state resources to muzzle the other. |
I'm not enthusiastic about the 2019 election as the structure we operate is faulty. We will only be able to replace some official kleptos with another set to come and 'chop'. This system we operate isn't designed to make Nigeria great. Let's restructure |
To even think over #800 miliion demurrage was paid makes the situation more depressive. |
News like this are enough to make more Nigerians develop mental illness. Let's add the salaries and allowances of the Governors, Ministers, Heads of Parastatals and other politically exposed persons. Then we would know that the country can't just progress with such profligacy. These are the sorts of wastages and unfair distribution of wealth that Labour ought to be seen agitating for. |
This is one of the factors that aggravate the mental illness of some Nigerians. You can't be in Nigeria, read such news as this, and still remain 100% sane |
If only these lawmakers are paid per sitting, the chambers would be filled to the brim at all times. |
Ehn ehn. Has Oshiomole fallen put of favour with the presidency already. This is strange because the presidency is notorious for foot dragging in prosecuting one of its own. This one that Sagay is talking, hope Oshiomole's fate hasn't been decided. |
Politicians can deny the obvious. The arres and bail has already been confirmed by Okoi Obno Oblai |
An alleged certificate forger is seeing to the arrest of an alleged contract scammer. This is Nigeria, everyone is a .... |
If Oshiomole truly dipped his hand in the cookie jar, then he should honorably resign |
That's his pastime. |
They may still be expecting someone to write petition against him |
Anyone who must have been indicted to have taken our yam either now or before must be brought to the court to clear his/her name. |
Maybe they heard he is bringing those infamous 53 suitcases back. |
Alhaji Manir Dan’Iya might just be a stopgap after all. Until December 1st, anything can still happen. Someone should confirm whose name is pasted for Saraki's senatorial district for PDP. |
...and the report was submitted to the same AGF that was rumored to be a member of the cabal once headed by the accused. I doubt if the said report isn't already under the proverbial carpet Anyways, better be late than never. |
The odds favour him this time around. This life sha. In 2011 when GNI could have won, it was same Obasanjo that propped out Olurin from within PDP that made him scamper for succor under PPN, the poll they both lost to Amosun's ACN. Truly, there aren't permanent friends and enemies in politics. |
Ok |
Zamfara will still be decided by the court eventually. It is not yet Uhuru for Hope in Imo as the court will decide the authentic candidate too. As for Ogun, the rift between Amosun and Oshiomole seems irreparable at this moment with the recent DSS detention of the Chairman. Hence the affected candidates should approach the court to reclaim their 'stolen' ticket if they have genuine grievances or move to DPP altogether. I expect Okorocha and Amosun to reject their senatorial tickets in protest of the maltreatment of their cronies by the NWC of the party. |
There is hardly a state where the governor and the senators are in the same page. Maybe Lagos |
My worry is why the president is always unaware of major happenings around him? His handlers are doing great damages to his image as they project him as a lame duck. Why should a department under the direct supervision of the Presidency 'arrests' the national chairman of the president's party without the president's knowledge? |
Ok |
Some of the rich and the elites always find a way to evade tax. This is a serious crime in organized societies and should have cost the minister his job. The DSD and the National Assembly that screened these ministers obviously didn't do a thorough job. |
So the IGP actually wanted to proscribe the Livestock Guards while leaving their tormentors - the marauding herdsmen. |
Comic relief from PDP So Oshiomole is now a fugitive on the run How are the mighty fallen |

A certain professor and an appointee of the Presidency has said the state assembly lacks the wherewithal to investigate the allegation. That I assume to mean the position of the Presidency on Ganduje since the SAN is competent to speak on anti- corruption cases. The contractor should not risk exposing himself as the fate of the case seems decided in favour of the governor |
Seems there are some elements of truth in the travails of Oshiomole with the DSS. Na wah o. No condition is truly permanent. The hunter has suddenly become the hunted. The gang up to remove the Chairman will further widen the cracks within the party and may hasten the implosion from within. |
The odds favour him this time. The power tussle between OBJ and OGD that truncated his ambition in 2011 is playing out right now between Amosun and Oshiomole and Co. This may likely work in his favor if well exploited. |
