I sincerely believe that APC Reps were involved in the amendment of the electoral act ab initio.

If yes, they should even be at the fore front of the law makers agitating for the override of the President so that their sincere efforts do not come to naught. Do they even know that their stance now portray them as being hypocritical while the amendment lasted.

Well it is understandable, PMB is their meal ticket and they won't risk being seen to be against him.

This is actually good for PDP if you look at it from another perspective. It's like having 2 in 1 candidates.

The two of them should campaign vigorously to get more votes for the party. Whoever the court declares as the authentic candidate eventually reaps big.

If I were an APC party Chieftain, I would ask Buhari to do the following to clear all these rumours about him being cloned. Whichever you look at it, if conspiracies or lies against one isnt addressed, it might stick. Jews do not believe till date that the Messiah, Jesus had come and gone due to how soldiers where bribed by the Pharisees to spread lies that his body was stolen by his disciples.

To.clear this purported cloning/body double allegations, President Buhari should by any means (just as he 'addressed' his WAEC certificate) issue by:

1. Attend a function (religious or otherwise) anytime soonest and stylishly remove his cap for all to see his "bald hair". Delaying it may also create another issue of saying he is growing his hair all these while, hence why he didn't do that soon.

2. Sign an Executive order on "anything", append his HIS SIGNATURE and display it to camera (Donald Trump style) for all to see.

3. Address Nigerians on state of the nation on live TV here in Nigeria.

He is under no obligation to do number 1 -2 but number 3 is very important, not just because of the Jubril rumor but hey why would the President of a country find it extremely hard to engage the nation's media and address the citizens on live television?

Presidents accross the world engage their country's media and address the nation on topical national issues. Why should ours be an exemption?

That's the mistake he made, he gave the theory more fire. Media chat is important on relevant topics but he does not have to attend, that should be the job of the communications director or a representative of his.

Garba Shehu and Femi Adesina can't represent him all the time. Nigerians want to have their President talk to them, that carries more weight and perhaps shows who is in charge.

Ha can't be holed up inside the rock or be held 'hostage' by the infamous two-man cabal ( according to Aisha, his wife) and except Nigerians to keep quite. His actions and or inactions are what is fueling the Jubril rumor and it seems he enjoys it.

The party chairman and his exexutive members should be allowed to function properly.

Why are people changing the narrative?

The accusation is about a certain double acting as an impostor and not a cloned person. Those are two different things.

History is filled with famous world leaders that had used doubles and decoys at several times. So what's the fuss as if the government isn't capable of doing such.

If there's anyone who allows this rumor to fester, it is PMB and maybe his handlers too. What's so hard in a President occasionally having live media chats and public address?
I can't even remember the last time I saw PMB live on TV.
