This one is even mocking his god, if he has any. |

What happens to the EndSars panel in Anambra? Who were the people invited but declined invitation? . |
Ortom already said he'll sacrifice his senatorial ambition. Perhaps he has seen defeat coming. He benefited from the Buhari Tsunami in 2015. Guyman already scheming to ride on Obi's effect this time too |
Oni should brace up for the barrage of insults that will be directed at him, his office and his person. One would have expected the traditional institutions to be apolitical though. But then, the few clergymen that have decided to be father for all, have seen shege in the last couple of days. |
But why qualify the people of Igabi as fanatics? That's not cool . |
anonymous1759:All I see all over again is a semblance of the 'Sai Baba' chanters in 2014. |
If some people truly stockpile the old notes for whatever reason, the government has enough machineries to trail and burst them. This is what Ahmad's principal should have done and not throw the entire nation into confusion. |
Yaribanzaonic:There hasn't ever been anything southern unity, except, maybe in 2011 when GEJ was majorly supported as a Southern project. Don't make it look like the fault is solely for the Yorubas. If there was a southern unity, Ekweme wouldn't have hotly contested the PDP primaries against Obj in 1998. Even at that Obasanjo wasn't the candidate of the Yorubas. It was clearly Olu Falae. Was Falae supported by the Igbos? Clearly no! Where was the southern unity? Maybe if Onu's APP had cooperated, Falae would have won the elections. As at the point of forming APC, ACN has 6 Govs and many other members of the NASS and state assemblies. Same cannot be said of Onu's ANPP. So if we consider what parties are bringing unto the table, you will agree that ACN has a clear advantage. The East even showed clear disdain for APC. How would the party then throw it's ticket into a hostile region? How's that Yorubas' fault? PDP had its primaries first where Atiku went away with the ticket. How's that the fault of the Yorubas? No prominent Igbo person gave him a hot contest. There's nothing like Southern unity even right from Awo and Zik time, and the blame should be mutual. I do not think a tribe should be singled out for blame. Even in 1993, Abiola, the Yoruba candidate, was defeated in all Eastern states, except Anambra. |
Yaribanzaonic:This is your question Why cant IGBO people be allowed to Rule.. I do not understand what you mean by not allowing any Igbo people to rule. I do not know of anytime any person was denied the right to contest the presidential election because he/she is of Igbo extraction? Even Late Ikemba contested elections. Perhaps you are expecting every other persons to step down and unanimously adopt Igbo candidates in their parties. This, my brother, will require some high level negotiations, maneouvering, lots of give and take and not through Nzogbu Nzogbu brand of politics ( apologies to Gov Soludo) My opinion is that Igbo invested heavily in PDP ( instead of APGA), it's therefore shocking that they allowed someone else robbed them of that party's ticket. It will be hypocritical to expect those that laboured and built APC to such status easily ' gift ' their ticket to someone from a region that has shown disdain to the party. Finally, Obasanjo contested the PDP primaries and the elections proper, he was not dashed the power. Ditto for Osinbajo. I wish gbo will build APGA into a big brand and a negotiations platform, just like Yorubas build ACN. |
Yaribanzaonic:The truth has to be said someday and the record put straight. It's a lie that the Yorubas enjoyed any special privilege in 1999. Alex Ekweme keenly contested the PDP primaries with Obasanjo and would have defeated him if not for the backing of the North and the ex-military Generals. Ogbonaya Onu also of Igbo tribe contested the presidential election under APP. If the APP had worked with Falae's AD ( the candidate of the Yoruba) Falae could have won the election. So basically, it's LIE that others stepped down for the Yoruba to compensate them for June 12. |

Those supporting him were, until this naira crisis, his major critics who curse him day and night here. They only support him now to spite their political foe who they think might be the receiving end of this shabby implementation of a fine policy. But then if majority of the sudden critics of Mr. Buhari had been doing so and speaking up years back, maybe he wouldn't have the effontery to flagrantly disobey the order of the Supreme Court. |

Gbaja should do the needful, if he has the balls. Flagrant and wholesale disregard of the order of the Supreme Court should be checked. A dangerous precedent is being set. |
Isn't this Naira confiscation ? |
Then do what you're supposed to do |
With interest? The enablers and accessories of corruption in Africa are as guilty as the thieving leaders. What's their to rejoice about when the money will most likely be looted with no visible impact on the average Bayesian. Except anyone can point to anything tangible we benefit from Abacha's returned loot. |
If only these exams could be written in the towns only and under strict supervisions. Only the examiners who mark the scripts could tell what their eyes have seen. |
Where is traders money again? |
Why do we need a further interpretation of the President's broadcast? Can't he make his point clear and unambiguous? |
As it should be |
A simple broadcast from Buhari or Emefiele will douse the tension and calm frayed nerves. But no, Buhari won't talk to the nation until it gets to the boiling point. |
A simple broadcast from Buhari or Emefiele will douse this tension and set the records straight. The banks will wait for directives from their regulator, the CBN. Fueling stations and supermarkets who reject the money pinned it on the fact that banks have stopped collecting it from them. Cab drivers won't collect it because fuelling stations are rejecting it. Then this percolates to the nooks and crannies of the community. A simple directive from Emefiele to the banks will douse this tension. |
Why do people who support this ongoing cash crisis feel this is all about a particular politician? To them, it does not matter if everyone dies or their business collapses as long as it suits their political narrations. Suddenly, Emefiele becomes the golden son, someone they've cursed day and night a while ago. |
gfelo:You don't understand, the crisis Emefiele and Buhari has plunged the country into is needless. I marvel at people urging the duo to continue because they felt it hurts the chances of their political opponents. Bunch of opportunists who do not care if the masses die as long as their aim is served. |
A needless crisis. |
A needless crisis. Buhari and Emefiele may both be unwittingly plunging the nation into a needless and avoidable crisis. The economy of the people is being badly affected by this draconic and poorly implemented policy. It's even ludicrous that some opportunists are urging them on just because they feel their political opponents will be affected not minding if the masses suffer more. Hypocrites! |
