Everything has been in order and now the school sent an email last week that all international students should defer unless they would have to cancel their I-20.
I just wanted to know if it is possible for a school to do that when visa has already been issued?

I'm thinking she should accept to defer so they dont cancel her i20.

Then find out if she can enter US with the i20 she already has. But I wonder what she will be doing in the US till next year fall when class commences?
Risk working or look for another admission?

Check well you will see where ur ds 160 number is , clear and retype the new ds number.

Fill another ds160 form. You will have a new number assigned to u. Use it when booking appointment.

For those that have already book re d an appointment, just update your profile on cgifederal (visa appointment portal) , and reprint a new appointment confirmation carrying the new ds number.


Note: dont forget to also reprint your new ds confirmation letter and make sure all these are done latest 3days to your interview date.

I want to say something again. I noticed especially in Nigerians. We be like well it's not only me that's suffering. I'm not the only jobless person others are poor too and that thought alone gives us some kind of relief. Can I apply for an emergency request and if granted won’t I have to cancel the rescheduled appointment to select a date

Note that I have rescheduled once which means if I cancel that’s another MRV fee

Not all schools agree to this though, some insist on shipping it to the student while the student pays. But it shouldn’t be more than $100, I paid $85 for mine to be shipped From Georgia.
The agent just wants to cash out.

I've been assisting a colleague with his application and here is his timeline so far.

Applied 12th April 2021
Biometrics 13th April 2021
NSE request (request for ielts result only) 23rd April 2021
Ielts result submitted 24th April 2021


He is attending post graduate certificate program at conestoga.
Documents submitted with his application include Upfront Medical, police report, MBS (N10m) and IELTS amongst others.
