I have no relative willing ,and since I need a 6 months bank statement ,she was the only one willing to give me all the needed documents plus I have about 5mil in my personal savings account
You can use her.
Someone used a man he has not even met before and got AIP and medical request so forget all these plenty rules and regulations.

Let her refer to you as her nephew or niece while you refer to her as your Aunt.
Tidy other parts of your application and que sera sera

[quote author=Eilenora post=93983796]please when applying for your notes, particularly when completing the consent form, did you have to complete the parts for designated representative or related individuals information. P.S I am a single applicant. mentioned my dependents in my form but not that they will be coming with me. for those that used buddy, please advise[/quote

]

I didn't mention my dependents in the consent form cos I'm not travelling with them.

I applied for my notes August 23rd...

did she say that she got AIP?
I saw AIP rain somewhere
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by librangyps(f): 10:32am On Sep 16, 2020
Sanovsky007:
Applied July 6th
review of eligibility started 1st week of august, shortly after AIP rain.
GCMS notes show eligibility failed 27th July grin
submitted bio metrics 24th august
medicals 28th August.

Proof of funds was solid 3 times the required amount for both living and tuition expenses
4 landed properties shown
father was sponsor, with affidavit of support, sponsor letter, payslips, CV, Id card
All family members here in Nigeria
i submitted employment letter, transcripts, certificates, SOP stating my study/career plan for 5 -10 years above.
Wow! So you got AIP and medical request, completed your medicals and still failed eligibility?

Or you got just AIP and did medical without medical request?

Please kindly clarify.

Alot of things were wrong with my application.

Home ties - I applied with my hubby and kids

Career progression - I went for undergraduate admission instead of masters

Proof of fund - I used an uncle instead of my hubby.

These were the three major reasons.

But I will get it right by Gods grace, already applied for mastera admission.

quote author=NwanyiOkpa post=93954440]

On what grounds were you refused?
I did opposite of what you did:

I applied without hubby and kids
Masters in Business Administration.... I had Bsc Accounting with 2.1
Used Hubby and scholarship as sponsor

Yet nothing

@frank @anon123 @vibrant99
When did you apply cos it seems the review is still in progress. Maybe you applied for your notes too early.

Also when did you apply for your notes? Is it from gcmsbuddy?

Thank you for your reply. for example
for room and board 10,000,
tuition 15,000,
others 3,000,
Can I write 38,000 cad in the form if i got a teaching assitanship of 10,000 cad? or it should be 28,000?
Add ur 10k cad assistantship fund to the total liquid cash in your account.... this total must be more than 28k.

That VO was kind sharp & mean. There is really no approach. How you do term someone with 3 kids and a hubby as self serving ??
Hmm. Or they think she will go & abandon her family. Naaa. Women rarely do this.
How will she even know what to correct in her reapplication?

I think the grammar in her SOP matters. Like how will her certificate serve her community or country upon her return...

I also applied without my kids and if I get such refusal notes. I will raise more funds and re-apply with my children.

@frankrobbn1 @Lekiboboe @rebeccausoro @Osemigho @JustMellow

A friend's study permit application has been denied unofficially. Her first application was refused in 2019 because the proposed 2 years diploma program (Database Administration) "is available for less online or in closer geographical location." She upgraded to Graduate Diploma and reapplied on May 29, 2020.

St. Lawrence College, Business Analytics, Fall 2020
Paid 1st semester tuition: $12,582.70 (CAD)
Application Status: Eligibility review ongoing
NO AIP or MER
Age: 31
Works as Manager in Hubby's company
Monthly salary is N325k
Personal account balance is N10m plus
Self-sponsored but Hubby is also supporting
Hubby's account has N12m plus and earns N600k monthly
GCMS Note received today shows: REFUSED

Her husband wants me to help them review the LOE but I am not qualified to do that. Please, can the gurus help us point out what is "self-serving" in the statement? Thanks!
Did she apply alone or with her kids?

That word 'self-serving' caught my attention.

Other May applicants like myself yet to hear anything....hmmm

You be guided and never use such foul language here...
You might do that on other threads but here no matter your stand point you wont earn anyone's respect by using such language.

Even Frank will not approve of this in his defence.
Be guided and apologize to Don.

Good evening guys,
For those that have gone for their bimotrics enrollment please I need your help.
The date on my Biometrics Instruction Letter (BIL) expired on the 9th of August (couldn't go because of Covid19). Can I take this same BIL to VFS or do I need to request another letter from IRCC?
My appointment date @ vfs is on the 17th of Sept.
Go with same BIL... no issue with that at all
Two colored copies of data page and appointment letter
