Chalva: Finally, Bvl/Passport Request. Fourth Application. Glory be to God. My special thanks goes to Frankrobn1, Naijaforeigner and other gurus in the house whose contributions and encouragement helped me to achieve this feat after the unfair decision I received from IRCC on my third application. This forum gave me all that i needed, no third party involvement in my recent applications..CELEBRATION MOOD Congrats... this is really inspiring to the rest of us. As Frank would say, it has ended in praise. I commend your resilience. I can only imagine your feelings right now. |

JustMellow: Hello Librangyps,
You shouldn't have hurriedly withdrawn your application. An updated IMM form would have suffice. Besides, online application requires no or/and an appended signature.
A withdrawal denotes an automatic rejection and you have to wait for it to be process before filing for a new application to avoid conflict of interest.
There are two options with no guarantee to the first.
1. If you haven't gotten an acknowledgement response to the effect, raise a CSE and Email to the CPC or VAC for reconsideration with detailed explanation then append the new form.
2. Wait for it to play out before re-applying.
All the best How do I raise a cse, another web form? |

Chimzy4real: Please was English proficiency needed for those of you who gained admission in MUN. And were you able send documents after deadline I got a letter of English language proficiency from my uni which I used in gaining admission for mba. Also I couldn't meet up with the deadline in sending my gmat scores so I wrote them to defer my application from Sept 2019 fall to Sept 2020 fall. So after sending my gmat score I got admission letter in November 2019 against September 2020 fall. Hope this is helpful |

Frankrobbn1: You don't require any signature for online applications. Upon uploading of documents into its various columns as per the online checklist, you will be promoted to use your full name as written on your passport to electronically sign and transmit the documents to IRCC for due visa processing.
It will end in praise Immediately I saw this, It just clicked in my head that i didnt do this. I used my first name and last name. I cant remember typing in my middle name. So I have gone ahead to withdraw my application by filling a webform as I also read on ircc page of the utmost importance of this. My question now is should I go ahead and submit another application or I must wait for confirmation that the initial application has been withdrawn? Thanks Frank |

Frankrobbn1: Bro, I'm sorry but the passport size put forward by you in bold is meant for PR candidates and not study visa applicants.
Canada Study Visa application passport picture size should be 2 x 2 inches (51 x 51 mm). Full-face view. Your head should be seen from the top of the hair to the bottom of the chin.
You all should be properly guided.
It will end in praise. I compressed my pdf file to 3.94mb but when uploading on ircc I saw 4.09, although it uploaded successfully. Is this ok? Or I should compress further |

Frankrobbn1: You can't upload documents on mycic online portal with a zip folder. All documents must be combined with one pdf according to their various sections.
It will end in praise Thanks Frank. So that means no way to specify for example sponsor bank statement, my bank statement etc.... it will just be all lumped together as one pdf? Thanks |

Please is it ok to compress my docs in a zip folder and upload, that way I can title individual documents.
Or I should just combine the documents into one? |

NwanyiOkpa: Hello. You can pay to Western Union Business Solution via wire transfer.
My school also required me to use Western Union for the deposit and here was what i did;
1. I contacted the school for alternative method of payment and they gave me various option like paying online using Credit card or other debit card option. Well, I paid the 2000 deposit required by my school using my Payoneer debit card online.
2. I paid the tuition via wire transfer from bank. Just walk up to your branch and tell them you want to make a wire transfer.
Goodluck Hello, Can I DM you pls? |

jpepper: Why would one need a visa to attend online classes? I believe the purpose of the visa is to allow entry into the country, if you will be studying online then i think it makes sense that proof of payment of fees should be sufficient for now until one needs to be physically present. It is like saying people who do online degrees need a visa? Abi is my logic wrong? The explanation I got from my school is that since my course is not ordinarily available as an online program, I will need to show a study permit to commence first semester online, because subsequent semesters will be face to face. Of what use is the first semester if I cant continue with the class and other semesters are not available online? This requirement is not compulsory for courses that ordinarily have online option. |

Naijaforeigner: My opinion, you don't need the following
Toefl, Gmat reports, waec (Your Letter of admission LOA is enough). If these documents were listed in your LOA, then you can include them but if they were not listed, totally not necessary.
Cost of living estimate from school website: Not necessary. IRCC already know you need at least 10,000 Cad in your SOA.
Siblings birth certificates is not necessary. You already listed them in the form and they are not your sponsors. Got this off ircc website. Please check official fee schedule and birth certificates. I was asked if I have taken any standardized English language test before, I ticked yes and my toefl score report is the evidence. I hope my GMAT score report also helps to push the point that I merited the admission for mba.

Naijaforeigner: I noticed 3 applicants submitted almost 25 documents for an online application... wetin happen? That's way too much documents for an online application. You can do that for Paper application, not online.
Do you know the reason why most of you are being refused is because the visa officers cannot even see and clearly read your documents because you have had to shrink and shrink those documents to fit? You all are submitting too much documents.
I can't even understand why anyone needs to submit 25 documents for an online application.
Please I beg you in God's name, for online applications, submit only few necessary documents. Oh my God my documents I'm compiling is also much o. I will list them , kindly advise me on what to take out. Under client file. Sop Cv Bsc Nysc Nysc transcript Ican transcript (ACA) Atswa cert (AAT) Waec Toefl score report Gmat score report Cost of living estimate from school site National identity cos I ticked in the online form that I have a national identity document. I saw on MUN website that fall semester will be online apart from some select departments like school of medicine, nursing, and marine.
Is it possible for the Visa officer to dish out refusals if they check with your school and see that your program will be online?
Secondly since I have this information that fall semester for my program will be online, is there any point submitting my application for study permit?
By the way my program is MBA |

Frankrobbn1: You should never compare timelines and profiles when it comes to immigration process. An immigration application is a complex one, with many variables. No two applicants cases are the same, even if they may have the same date of birth, similar profiles, and may come from same country (Nigeria) or been processed at same immigration office (kenya VO).
Since you have filed your application, you must be aware that there are many questions to be asked on the application, which then has to be supported by documents. This is what makes each application unique, and so does the processing of such applications.
With so many variables, when you compare your application profile with another applicant, you are comparing apples to oranges. Please remember, immigration is law, and, no two cases are ever the same.
The uniqueness of each application does not stop here, the processing and evaluation of each application are done by humans (the visa officer's), who have their own unique personality and way of analysing. Even though each immigration officer is obligated to follow the law as stipulated in the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the Regulations, and the manuals, by their speed, way they analyse, and their drive, are factors, which again add more variables to every applications.
Don't allow the high visa refusals discourage you. Hang on there, Your testimony is right around the corner.
I hope this little piece stands to motivate you.
It will end in praise Thanks Frank. I intend submitting by next week hopefully. |

Is 100billion self even equal or up to the money they make from tollgate + agebro bus charges, or taxes from workers put together in a month? My brother the corruption in this country doesn't make it easy to trust information from these thieves and looters. The thing tire me jaree. Many states just want to mark present and get their share of the billions. Alot of states dont make as much from agberos, taxes, etc. I assume you're using Lagos as a statistic. |

Please can any any previous mun applicant help with that If it is stated on your transcript 'Bachelor degree awarded' , when they receive your transcript, they will thick the box for transcript and degree confirmation. Phatkayconcept: Dear Mrs, you have to talk things through with your husband. His decision can make or Mar your application. It doesn't really cost him anything more than the stress. Yes, it's stressful to walk in to the bank and do some transactions this days. But then, anything what doing at all is what doing best.
I was in your shoes few days back, I downloaded my sponsors bank statement and it wasn't stamped, I requested for mybank statement online and it didn't dropped. It occurs to me that I should use it like that, but no I didn't.
I explained things with my sponsor and she was kind to go to the bank, queued for about 6hrs before she was attended to. And eventually got a stamped statement forwarded to her mail.
I encourage you to encourage him to encourage you in your application by getting you what you really needed. Although, it may be possible to use the non stamped one, as long as it is genuine. After all they usually do their verification and they can even asked you to send an updated statement later if they wish.
Good luck. Thanks |

I'm unable to get a stamped bank statement. My husband requested for one year bank statement from his bank via email but the pdf copy of his statement is not stamped and he insists he wont walk in to the bank this period that I can use it like that.
I have my own statement showing tuition for one year,
Scholarship to cover 1 year living expenses
I only needed his account as a co sponsor to show availability of more funds.
Can I use the bank statement like that? |
