kemkem30: Hi everyone, has anyone used WES for PhD evaluation. Please can you tell me the documents you sent. We have sent a filled confirmation of doctoral degree form and a degree cert. They updated the account stating that the the degree certificate has been accepted while the doctoral form is not. They also asked for a transcript. As far as i know UI does not issue one for PhD. I am just looking for anyone that has successfully evaluated the PhD degree only (using WES of course) Did you do course work during your Ph.D programme? Some departments do, and you should be able to get a transcript in that case. If you didn't, what I read online is that the school will just send verification for the doctoral award. Still working on getting my transcript (student's copy) but I did Coursework... Hope we get someone that has completed the process because I also need info |

Obidemiyasimi: Gud morning mamas, I joined dis group last week since then i v been observing and enjoying all DAT is going on here, kudos to all d sabi mamas here for helping others in dis great journey and I pray that we will not labour in vain IJN. Although dis is my 2nd pregnancy but I loss d first baby after birth in Dec. 2016. Yesterday was my EDD and I didn't feel any sign of labour except abdominal pains which made me went to my clinic for check up and after checking d midwife told me DAT am 4cm dilated that she can help me hasten it if I will allow her but I want natural labour bcs I had contractions during d first baby meanwhile it's not up to 39weeks. pls mamas hope am not risking d life of my baby or I should I opt in for force labour? thanks. i really don't know what you mean by natural labour, but as long as you are in a good hospital, follow your doctor/midwife instructions. Your labour started naturally, they just have a way of hastening the process using several means.... |

kelizosuy: Thank you ma.
We started today but just the injection. The Dr asked us to start the drugs by tomorrow.
It's raining here that's why I didn't use the tepid water. Because of the cold For the paracetamol, you can get calpol. It's more effective. Not to be used more than 4 times in 24hrs |

zaynie: Induction usually (not always) fails if its done too early. I've seen from here that most inductions done at 40-42 weeks is usually (not always) successful while those done by 37-38 weeks usually (not always) fails. After induction, there is no going back to rest or so, its CS. And if the only ish is the weight then that isn't much of a problem unless she has a small pelvis
Mummydd, another option is to ask your Dr to do a membrane sweep for you, it hastens labour if it works, if it doesn't work..you and lo can still hang out for a while. she said she is 38+3 and asked to come next week which implies she will be 39+ . My response was just to let her know induction isn't something to be scared of if there's a reason for it. |

Mummydd: Make una help me touch light abeg...am 38weeks +3, scan measures 39+3 and baby's weight is 3.7. Doc said I should come for induction by next week. He said baby will get bigger if am to wait till edd (19th). Am scared, I feel he's not giving me a lot of options. Am a FTM I think you should follow your doctor's advice. Induction is just an artificial way of starting labour |

spiceeamiee: Also, who knows where I can buy those net bands that chidren's hair bands are made of? Just the bands? I have some accessories I want to turn into headbands for my baby so I need those large net bands for hair bands. Please do let me know
Finally @Giddyperson did you do that shopping then on Aliexpress for giddybaby? were the items you bought true to size? if you dont mind the tiny bands, you will get this on aliexpress, you can then use your own accessories.

ArcUgo: It's a syndicate, the booklets are available they are making millions off people trust me i know because the same thing is happening in PH. I took my family to Uyo and got it the same day after i was told to pay 35k to get it in 2weeks. I paid 24k for myself and wifey and 17k for my boys. I discussed at length with the Assistant to the Passport Officer and he told me that the reason why it was fast was because the current Commanding Officer in Uyo Immigration Office was a "born again" and that the last one was just like what we have in Lagos and PH. I once directed someone to him and he told me that there was no booklet at that time but that it was going to be available in two days and true to his word he called and asked me to send my friend who went and got his passport same day. Passport booklets are always available it's just being hoarded so they can rip people off. Are you saying children pay less? Hmmmm. Paid 25k for my daughter in this same Uyo |

Thegoodlife300: Please Is a 10days old baby strong enough for a 4hours travel? I need to be in Lagos tomorrow and it's urgent. There's no one u can leave my baby behind with so I want to take him with me but I need to be sure it's safe first. if the journey is important, then there's little you can do. Just ensure you go with private car (or a very comfortable means of transport, not an 18 sitter public transport pls), the baby properly clothed and covered, use a fleece blanket to wrap baby to cushon against our rough road and carry baby properly too so he/she doesnt feel all the turbulence of the road. I travelled with a 4 day old baby but it was less than a 2 hour drive. It is well! |

Coconut oil and palm kernel oil, which one is best to use on my newborn? He is 5days old and there's heat rashes on his face. Either is ok as long as you know the source or made it yourself. Leave the face out, doesnt need oil. The rashes will go with time |

HolySteph: Mamas in the house Good morning... I hope our little ones are doing fine and disturbing us..
Pls I have a question... is it normal for a 4months 2weeks baby to not be independently sitting on his own? It's becoming frustrating. I put my baby boy to sit, whenever I do so I'll always have to support him else he'll fall. If he sits for like 5mins he'll starts crying.. I started putting him to sit before he was 3months, now he is 4months plus but he hasn't gotten that full posture. I've seen other babies his stage already sitting and it got me worried, that's why I'm here.
Pls is it normal or when is the appropriate time for babies to sit up on their own or he hasn't reached that milestone?
Mamas pls help before I lose my mind. Its too early to be worried. Your baby is still young. Sitting on their own is a 6 months milestone |

Have been walking a lot can you tell me other ways to make it faster please? If your doctor/hospital ask you to come for induction Pls do, your mum is not your consultant in this case. hunniesuzie: The vaccines given by teaching hospitals are given to them free by NGOs like UNICEF, USAID etc. All the ones they don't give is because they are expensive and they cannot/will not buy. They have now added jara to their bad behaviour by telling people the additional vaccines are a waste of money, instead of advising people appropriately
Ar some provide it at a cost so was surprised when I went to the one here. |

rvpbae: Uyo mamas pls urgent mbok. Where did you give rota vaccine? Premier isn't giving and pharmacy is selling for 15k which i don't have. Thanks I also need this information. The last time I went to UUTH for 12months immunization, the nurse told me they only give vitamin A cos they don't have those diseases down here and asked that I go to pharmacy to buy if I really want to. Eventually got the shot at Ibadan when I travelled. I'm surprised that the whole teaching hospital that should be models to others could say that. UCH in Ibadan will encourage you to get every vaccine possible.... Even when you have to pay. |

spiceeamiee: So not funny sis. We are looking at that as the last resort but it means we would need to leave the house for a few days and we have to plan towards it so now I'm looking for something short term that works My mum mentioned a rat killer she used. Its called 'push out' or something of sort (its imported). She mixed with grinded groundnut and placed in places around. You can use any other food with inviting smell. She said it worked effectively |
