eetzdave:ConsularAbuja@state.gov Well, my case is somehow shaa. I was denied emergency request in October for failure to upload SEVIS fee and was subsequently denied in December for no reason. So, I mailed them via consularAbuja@state.gov pleading with them to reconsider my emergency request that this is the second time my request is being denied and that my appointment was rescheduled by the Consulate Office, Lagos from December 11th to January 15th which was I paid another VISA fee to enable me get appointment before my program start date on 13th January, but it seems my hope of getting an appointment with the Embassy before my program start has been dashed again by the mail I received notifying me of the denial of my emergency request, that I plead with the Embassy to reconsider its decision and approve my emergency request. After 4hrs of sending them the mail, I received a mail from them that my emergency request has been approved that I can login to reschedule an appointment. That was all. |
Tomison:LagosNIV@state.gov |
edox15:I was denied on Wednesday last week. Mailed them on Thursday morning and their decision was reversed and my request was approved. |
FutureSenator:Mine was denied last week, mailed them the following day and their decision was changed same day. Already got a date. 23rd December. |
Tomison:Via their mail @ Consularabuja@state.gov |
Tomison:I think you should mail the Abuja embassy concerning your EMERGENCY REQUEST. |
Good morning House, pls is anyone using Ethiopian Airways to travel, if yes, is Covid-19 test a mandatory requirement for the airline? Thanks |
Please, if anyone see a regular date in December in Abuja, kindly let me know through this platform. Thanks. |
Fwtestimony:Abuja |
FutureSenator:Mine is Abuja too |
FutureSenator:I applied on Monday. Reason is that no available date for emergency appointment |
FutureSenator:Yes.i was denied this morning that they're no currently no available emergency date is available. I just tire |
FutureSenator:Hello, have they replied your request? |
FutureSenator:Same here. Still waiting for them. Applied yesterday evening |
FutureSenator:When did you apply? |
Ftos:I don't think so. |
CaptainMarvell:012278955 |
Lethhhgooo:Same here. They corrected the error on the subsequent mail. Well, I called the embassy help desk & they said nothing can be done, that they received notification that the Lagos Consulate would be cancelling some appointments and it's unfortunate mine is among the cancelled appointments. I told them that my School start date is January 13th and the officer said the embassy would take consideration of all the people whose appointments have been rescheduled, that if I'm not ok with the January 15th day, I can defer my program to Fall 2021. Mhen, I just tire. Well, I've mailed my school to update them on my current situation. I really don't know why some appointments should be cancelled. If there are many interviewee on that day, why then, did they release more slots for 4th & 11th 3days ago as seen on this thread? I'm just tired. |
tmphoto:You retrieve the application. |
Chonco:It was later rescheduled to January 15th |
My appointment with the Lagos Consulate has just been rescheduled from December 11th to January 15th. Reason: Embassy will not be interviewing on December 11th. I'm just confused. My school start date is January 13th. |
Dikewilliams:Lagos or Abuja? |
I learned that there were many approvals today in Abuja but no Transcript here today. Abeg, make una de motivate us. Reading approved transcript is like energy drink. Transcripts please |
No 7am interview for Lagos today? People are not dropping transcripts again! Hope all is well? Please, keep sending the good news to motivate us that our interviews are coming up soon. |
Does the filling of DS-160 have a limit like the MRV fee? I didn't save my DS-160 in a PDF format in my PC after Submitting it, now it's doing me like I made a mistake somewhere. Is there any limit to the number of times one can fill the DS-160 & does filling multiple DS-160 have any consequences? Thanks |
Dhorpsy:How long did it take you to collect your stamped passport? |
Yet to see an approved Transcript today. Oluwa wetin de occur? |
Hollyholy:Honestly, if I'm asked why this school, I would tell the VO how the school is good in my area of interest and how the program from the school would contribute greatly to my personal and career development before stating my scholarship and ranking. The V.O. already knows the school ranking and he's seeing your scholarship on your I-20, so when he asks why this school, he really want to know how the school would contribute to your career growth. So in this line, I believe the best thing to do, is to start telling him how the school has gained notable recognition in your field of interest and how the school's style of teaching would contribute to your career growth upon your return to Nigeria. My opinion shaa. |
Tomison:If the school does not require IELTS, then, there won't be an issue. |
tizentos:. No, you don't need. |
