Kashif:Thanks a lot for the information. I will check the connectors and later get a scan. |
Hi all, I just changed my gearbox 3 weeks ago and topped it off with the recommended atf (z1) for Honda EOD but two days ago I noticed that if I'm accelerating and the Gear wants to enter gear 2 the car sort of makes a thud and the wheels 'screech' but apart from this the Gear shifts perfectly well. The only issues is getting from gear 1 to 2 smoothly. I took it to one auto gearbox guru who just looked at it and asked me the symptoms of the problem then after telling him he pointed to one stuff on my engine and said I should change it and the problem will go away. Please can someone tell me what the name of this switch is and how much it could cost me to get another one? I haven't scanned the car yet.

This bus should be a good idea for you. I know a particular bakery in owerri that uses this type of bus (maybe not the same year model) and he bought 5 of them at once back then. It's close to 4 years now and he's still using hyundai buses. He's added a few to his fleet since then. Of the initial 4 he bought I still see just 1 but he's still using those hyundai buses till today. And they run on daily bases. I don't know about parts or anything but that bus is helping that man's business. |
Hmm. They don't want to pay him his money abi? Around ₦10billion? Na wao GTB should take their time before Mr. Innocent adds 'small' money untop and buys over the bank ![]() |

Prince George Alexander Louis, 2 ($41 million) Prince George is already set to inherit his dad’s $40 million net worth and his mom’s $1 million. But, royalty does have its perks. Royals are also set to receive $400 million each year so they never have to worry about anything else. 3. Dannielynn Marshall, 8 ($59 million) Dannielynn may not have such a fairy tale life but thank goodness her mom left her a pretty good sum of around $10 million from modeling and other endorsements. tumababa:My brother, it's a habit I picked up after some people used a kind of software to scan this website and harvested phone numbers a few years ago for scamming purposes. I battled with fake callers for 2 years after that and I still have nightmares from that experience. i know I won't be banned for doing it as I've never been banned before. Anyone who wants to call me can easily read out my number and dial or search (so far it's a human doing it). It shouldn't be hard. I've never had anything to hide on this website and nobody has ever complained of any wrongdoing committed by me after doing business with numerous people here for over a decade so I'm not ready to start being fraudulent today. But since I'm looking for a deal I will make my number easier to 'see' Call me to buy $105 PayPal funds at N330 to a dollar today. Thanks |

Apple wins patent on technology to stop fans filming gigs The spread of smartphones has created a divide among party-goers. There are those who like to hold their phone up for large chunks of the show, to capture footage of the band. And there are those who like to stand and watch the group and listen to the music, without any screens in their way. Now, it seems, the latter group could be on their way to victory in the eternal struggle between the filmers and the watchers. Pitchfork reports that Apple has won approval from the US Patent and Trademark Office for technology that could be used to prevent fans filming or taking photos of gigs on their iPhones. The patent, headed “Systems and methods for receiving infrared data with a camera designed to detect images based on visible light”, outlines how infrared light could be used to prevent filming: “For example, an infrared emitter can be located in areas where picture or video capture is prohibited, and the emitter can generate infrared signals with encoded data that includes commands to disable the recording functions of devices. An electronic device can then receive the infrared signals, decode the data and temporarily disable the device’s recording function based on the command.” What makes this relevant to music is that one of Apple’s “perspective view[s] of an illustrative system for communicating infrared data in accordance with one embodiment of the invention” depicts a band on a stage, and an iPhone screen with the words “recording disabled”, suggesting that this – along with preventing filming in cinemas – is one of Apple’s suggested usages for the technology. source : https://www.theguardian.com/music/2016/jun/30/apple-wins-patent-on-technology-to-stop-fans-filming-gigs

Kids abound on this website these days so don't allow them think you are at their level. I have a niece about to write waec and the way you wrote this your post reminded me of her. It won't take you anything to dot your I's and cross your T's especially on a public forum. 95% of us reading this are here to learn a thing or two from people like you. |

luvinhubby:my chairman . . . God forbid that i buy another transmission this year lol . truly it was a solenoid giving issues but i have solved it now GAZZUZZ:my oga . . . i have been able to rectify the issue with my gearbox. it is working smoothly right now. iafter fiddling with those solenoids, i met a new mechanic who told me he would be able to fix the issue with my gearbox with N35k. the agreement was to deposit N10k and the car then after he has been able to fix it i would balance him . . . which he did, so thats that for my gearbox. Then fast forward to today . . . i am tired of going to mechanics this season for one thing or the other. now while i am in motion (on high speed) the engine switches off on its own, it happens everytime i am driving above gear 3. how i know the engine has cut off while on the road is when my steering and brakes get stiff suddenly. the thing is that if i switch to neutral gear and restart the engine (while still rolling/coasting) the engine starts up no problem. i could also park by the side of the road and restart the engine and it starts up well. i called a friend and he said he suspects my brainbox, i never had this problem before i started working on my transmission. i am even scared that those mechanics may have done something sinister to the car right now. Please i need anyone with similar problems to advise me, thank you. |
@luvinhubby, kingreign, siena & gazzuzz I drive a 2004 eod i4. For some months now my gear has been acting funny but I decided to keep managing it until recently when it got worse. Before whenever I'm driving for more than 30mins the gear makes a 'kpom' sound and the gear stops changing, it remains on D and wouldn't increase more than the 2nd gear. Now this issue occurs every minute once I'm on the road. The way I temporarily stop this problem is to park, Switch off the car and restart it then the gear would be working properly again (until the next minute) I took it to my mech at warri and after scanning he informed me that I had to change the solenoid A (which I did) but the problem still persisted. After running another scan it revealed that solenoid BC was bad. My brother, as at today I have bought 2 different solenoids BC but still no improvement. Scan keep telling us the solenoid isn't good and my mech says to see a good one would be hard because nobody takes off a good solenoid from a gearbox and sells separately. I need to know how much I can get a good solenoid from lagos and I also need some advice from you guys too. Thanks |
