Why look for trouble?

Most of my friends and colleagues are now married, and complain bitterly about the way their wives suspect them of having affairs outside and always go through their personal items looking for clues. They all claim they respect and love their wives, however some do have affairs outside but do it very discretely, for instance when they travel out of town for official assignments. None would flaunt these affairs in front of their wives, as doing so is a sign of disrespect.

Now most married women in Nigeria go through their husband’s personal stuff looking for clues of infidelity. Nigeria is not like obodo oyibo where a woman gains a lot if she divorces her husband, in naija she gets practically nothing, is thrown out of the house and another babe moves in. Our society is based on polygamy so nobody sees anything wrong in a man having more than one wife, however because of the financial hardship in the country most people cannot afford more than one.

I often ask my friends who have affairs outside why they do it, their response is usually “How man go chop egusi soup all the time..”, I.e variety is the spice of life. In view of the fact that our society is polygamous in nature and the laws don’t really favor divorced women that much, why look for trouble when you stand to loose the most, just love him as much as you can when he is back to his senses he would stop all that outside adventure. A Nigerian man would never abandon his marriage once there are children involved.

Abi what do you people think, lets be practical and logical about this.

I am currently in my life where am living with people who do not like me, no matter what I have done for them. I cannot categorically tell if the said hatred is out of jealous or what.

I am a student living in a hostel which I'm the president...I take my studies serious, passes my exam though I still manage to squeeze out some time to drink some beers with my girlfriend and hommies. I noticed that

1) Paying Bills: When you start paying bills such as house rent, light bill, cable or decoder fees, security levy, refuse disposal fee, etc, you should know you are becoming a man. It means you have started taking charge of your financial responsibilities! You now have the capacity to determine what and how you should or should not buy...again, it is not by big manhood or empty swagg!!!

2) Decision Making: When you cannot take charge of your life or make decisions that affect your life, you are not a man yet. You are still a boy. If others, such as relatives and friends still control your life and influence your decisions, you are very far from becoming a man. It doesn't have anything to do with your age here . Though, seek help from friends and family members sometimes, but it doesn't mean we should depend on them for virtually everything! I know grown folks who still collect cash for clothes, shoes and haircut from their parents and they are above 30!!! After u go come public dey come make mouth! U dor pay light bill before? Or even refuse disposal fee?
When you start becoming independent, you are becoming a real man.

4) Being Able To Cater For A Woman: I know some dudes would want my head on a platter of gold for this one but it is the bitter truth! Any guys who is not capable of catering for a woman, not just financially but emotionally and spiritually too, such guy has not attained the level. Catering for a woman doesn't entails feeding and clothing her, buying all and all for her, but there are certain things a man should initiate and handle in a home Some guys go about chasing girls in an indiscriminate, annoying and shameful manner instead of concerning themselves with how to make money! If she get belle now, u nor go fit even buy baby food...u go run go hide for Ogbomosho . When you are able to support the responsibilities that come with a woman, you are becoming a man

5) Discipline: When you start applying discipline in your life, you are turning a man. If you can spend your entire salary on prostitutes and buying drinks for fair-weather friends, you are yet to be a man. Again, nor be by big voice, big manhood or long bia-bia!

The Bible verse above records that GOD HIMSELF will mete out the punishment of death on the evil ones in the land. This is evidence of a Powerful God at work.

Unfortunately same cannot be said of islam's a.llah as can be seen below:

Quran 8:39
"And fight them(the unbelievers) until there's no more disbelief and worship will all be for allah alone in the whole world. But if they cease disbelieving, then allah is the seer of all they do."

From the quranic verse above, we can see how islam's weak aallah cunningly transfers his responsibilty of meting out punismnent upon unbelievers unto the shoulders of his mortal followers.
If indeed a.llah is powerful, why then cant he mete out these punishments of death directly on the disbelievers? Why does he have to subdelegate such an enormous responsibility onto his mere mortal followers


2. YakubuAliar further affirmed another important truth we are all aware of i.e All the Laws of the Old Testament (as recorded in the Holy Bible) were made by God strictly & solely for the Nation of Isreal alone (Meaning this Laws were basically national laws for the nation of isreal and its territory).
Just as today in our contemporary world, every distinct Nation/country has its own separate National Laws that are made for its people alone. E.g the Laws of Iran are meant only for the Iranians & their territory; not for the entirety of muslims worldwide.


Therefore, both the Laws/Commandments and the stipulated punishments for defaulters were applicableI only unto the Isrealites themselves, and not (dis)believing non-Isrealites. These Laws can be seen in most of the Holy Bible's Old Testament books (e.g Exodus, Deutronomy, Leviticus e.t.c). And this was so because
the ancient Nation of Isreal was (at that time) the only nation on earth with whom God had an Oath/Covenant of Faithfulness with.

The following Bible verses bear testimony to the aforesaid truth:

Exodus 20:22-23 (NIV)
'THEN THE LORD SAID TO MOSES, "TELL THE ISREALITES THIS: 'You have seen for yourselves that I have spoken to you from heaven:
23. Do not make any gods to be alongside me; do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold.'

Deuteronomy 4:1 (NIV)
"NOW, ISREAL, HEAR THE DECREES AND LAWS I am about to teach you. Follow them so that you may live and may go in and take possession of the land the LORD, the God of your ancestors, is giving you."

Ezekiel 2:3 (NIV)
'And He(God) said to me(Ezekiel), "Son of man, I SEND YOU TO THE CHILDREN OF ISREAL, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even to this very day.'

Hence from the above verses(and many more like them), we can clearly see that these Old Testament Laws does not apply to the vast majority of Christendom(of which Limamintruth is one ) who are not Isrealis/Isrealites by ancestry/heritage.


Unfortunately this is unlike the quran whose evil Laws are meant for the entirety of muslims worldwide, while the stipulated punishments are meant for innocent non-muslims(who have absolutely no business with islam whatsoever).
Lets again compare for more insight:

Then Moses went up to God, and the LORD called to him from the mountain and said, "THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE TO SAY TO THE DESCENDANTS OF JACOB AND WHAT YOU ARE TO TELL THE PEOPLE OF ISREAL:'...

The Bible verse above expressly confirms that the message/Instruction is specifically meant for the people of Isreal. The specification there is 'the People of Isreal', and not 'Believers' generally.


Quran 8:65
"O prophet (moohammad)! URGE 'THE BELIEVERS' TO FIGHT (the disbelievers). If there are twenty steadfast persons amongst you, they will overcome two hundred, and if there be a hundred steadfast persons, they will overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they(unbelievers) are people who do not understand."

We can now see that the quranic verse above (just as several others like it) is an injunction/instruction from islam's god directly made for the entirety of "Believers in islam", with no specification whatsoever.
This means that every muslim, whether nigerian muslim or iranian muslim or libyan muslim or american muslim e.t.c is strictly instructed by a.llah to 'Fight the Disbelievers'.

Little wonder we have muslims of all races unanimously terrorising the world today.


3. The last but not the least salient truth that was indirectly raised by our confused YakubuAliar is:
There is absolutely NO Bible verse that supports or encourages believers to kill & behead non-believers.
It is trite that territorial wars were fought between the Nation of Isreal and other nations such as the Nations of Moab, Amalek e.t.c; same way the Nation of Germany went to war against Britain and her allies during WW2 and the Nation of Iraq went to war against the Nation of Iran during the period preceding the Gulf war.


That said, the fact still remains that there was never a time in the records of the Bible where God expressly instruct we believers to kill/attack unbelievers.

Unfortunately same cannot be said about Islam's god, who has, in more than 160 quranic verses, commanded his followers(the muslims) to kill, behead and slaughter unbelievers wherever they meet them. Some of these evil verses are as follows:

Quran 9:41
"Go forth, light-armed and heavy-armed, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the way of Allah! That is best for you if ye but knew."


Quran 9:29
"Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, even if they are of the People of the Book(i.e Christians and Jews), until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued."


Quran 9:14
"Fight against them so that {powerless}Allah will punish them by your hands and disgrace them and give you victory over them and heal the breasts of a believing people."

The last verse above is even more ridiculous than the rest as it clearly shows how weak and powerless islam's allah is; smh
And the verses are more evidence to us that hurting non-believers/non-muslims the way Isis/B.H et al do is expressly ordered by Islam's Allah of which allah claims doing so will "heal" the hearts of Muslims [whatever that means].

Seventeen members of the terrorist group, Boko Haram, were killed on Wednesday afternoon by a youth vigilance group in Lahou village in Borno State.

Speaking with our correspondent from the village, the leader of the youth vigilance group in the council, Apagu Bitrus, said the terrorists attacked Lahou at about 4pm on Wednesday but were overpowered.

Apagu added, “We slew 17 militants on Wednesday evening when they invaded Lahou village and equally seized two vehicles from them.”

Apagu said, “I can confidently tell you that when we took the battle to them, some of them fled but we are going to bury those who were killed this morning (Thursday).”
He, however, lamented that a member of the youth vigilance group, who was a former councilor in the local government was killed by the terrorists in the attack.

“So far, 52 people are injured, 47 dead persons have been removed from the market,” Umar Kidda, a member of a civilian viligante group, told Reuters by phone.
Kidda, who witnessed bodies being taken away, said the market was busy when the explosion occurred.
A military source who declined to be named said around 50 people had been killed.
Boko Haram has killed thousands of people during a six-year armed campaign to set up an Islamic state in northeastern Nigeria.
According to a Reuters tally, more than 600 people have been killed in raids and bombings by the insurgents since President Muhammadu Buhari took office on May 29, promising to crush the group.
At the start of the year Boko Haram controlled territory about the size of Belgium.
The army said it pushed the group from most of that area in the last few months with the help of troops from Chad, Niger and Cameroon, but there has been a recent resurgence in militant attacks.
No one claimed responsibility for Tuesday’s blast.
