As a Nigerian, you are made to die.

You're in South Africa, you will die.
You're in Saudi Arabia for Hajj, you will die.
You're travelling, if an accident did not kill you, herdsmen will.
You're in your house, a flood will kill you.
You're in the market, a fire will finish you.

Why?
Why Nigeria!

You're one of the few buharists I respect, although I find buhari dangerous.

In my opinion, I don't think Niger Delta commission would be necessary if this country practise federalism.

Sports / Re: Why Do Nigerians Dislike Genort Rohr by liohan: 12:55pm On Oct 15, 2019
Nigerians are a bunch of dishonest and ungrateful people.

We find this in politics, sports and other things.

Look around you'll see what I'm saying. There are fans of Aston Villa, Norwich and Arsenal in other countries that don't complain. But Nigerian Man Utd fans have been complaining more than the team.

Back to the sports, some years back we would have celebrated a draw with Brasil but here we are behaving as if Gernot Rohr met a team that won the World Cup. Rohr qualified us for the World Cup and Nations Cup without Nigerians using calculators.

That's how they keep shouting 16 years of PDP as if Nigeria was sending people to the moon in 1999.

It's 32 years after the death of Thomas Sankara. He deserves a front page.
Celebrities / Thomas Sankara: The Upright Man (32 Years After) by liohan: 12:15pm On Oct 15, 2019

Two bullets were not enough to silence him. Spraying of bullets was necessary to end the life of one of Africa's greatest leaders in modern days.

Although he knew that he was walking up to his death, he stood up with honour and said: “It's me they want”.

Thomas Sankara made a lot of reforms that since he was killed, no African leader will come close.

Despite coming from a military background that's largely androcentric, he made reforms targeted at women. He said, “The revolution and women rights go together”. That was surprising in a misogynistic country. He appointed women into governmental positions and encouraged them to work away from home.

When Sankara stopped foreign aids, many analysts expressed pessimism that it might be a death knell for Burkina Faso, it rather became a fuel that helped Burkina Faso achieve food sufficiency, eliminating polio in record time.

One lasting legacy of Sankara's rule was the renaming of the country from its colonial name to be Burkina Faso, which means “The Land of Upright Men”.

At a time African leaders were still doubting whether HIV/AIDS was a divine punishment, Sankara's government recognised it and made plans to curtailing it.

Deforestation has been a problem that has affected West Africa for thousands of years. In a way to combat it, Sankara launched a tree-planting program that planted 2.5 million trees in just a week.

Unlike some leaders who preached anti-corruption but do the opposite, Sankara lived a modest life. He used the cheapest car available in Burkina Faso. He even lived without AC in a hot country like Burkina Faso.

Sankara was accessible to nearly everyone. He once sang with the great Africa son Fela.

Sankara as everyone was not without his fault. His greatest undoing was alienating himself from people who would have resisted imperialism and military corruption.

It's been 32 years since he was murdered in cold blood. As one of the handwritten messages said, “Mama Sankara your son will be avenged. We are all Sankara”, we are truly Sankara!

post=83121997:
Don Jazzy, Omotola and some other reasonable Nigerians are the ones we will always support and queue after when they talk about the ills of the government, not the children of hate, perdition and frustration.

These are honest critics who are genuinely concerned about a better Nigeria,. You will know them because when they see good efforts of government they applaud.

But the others, the one who swore on their lives Buhari will never be president, the enemies of the nation, are the ones we are always against here, the ones who voted for the thief/thieves that robbed and looted their life and the lives of their unborn kids for 16 years, and they want them in power again!

For those that voted for the likes of Fela Durotoye, Kingsley Moghalu, Hashim, Sowore, and Madam Oby (before she stepped down) we will always respect you when you talk against what you don't see as right in this government.
Cos we know you meant the best for our darling nation.
But, not fraudsters, who are never ready to work legitimately, those who voted for criminals!

Read more about the Characteristics of Wailers, AKA, Children of hate, perdition and frustration below this thread....!

Nigeria will be great again in our lifetime.

Just shut up.
I mean shut the Bleep up.

Imagine 36 states generating less than $3b in six months, something Hudson County will generate in less time, and we have people commending this.

Restructure the damn shithole and see states either sit-up or collapse.
How will Kano, Katsina, and Jigawa that will almost determine the president of Nigeria has less combined IGR than Delta State?

Southerners think!

he has blamed the World Bank, IMF, and even UN.
he has also blamed Nigerians for not electing him when he was young.
