Education / 69 Skills To Learn To Make Money In 2019 by liohan: 8:56pm On Jan 04, 2019
At exactly 12:00 am on Tuesday, the curtain opened. As a movie unfolds, so we entered 2019.
We made a lot of promises in 2018 that we will make some money. But, life. Life happened and we're still where we started in 2018.
With Nigeria having the highest number of extremely poor people in the world, it's important that we try to lift ourselves from poverty. This can only happen if we contribute and bring solutions to people in exchange for money.
But how do you we solve people's problem when we don't have any skill?
Don't panic. We are going to learn a skill that in just a few months we will be benefiting from that skill.

Scam Government.

However, this is not the first scam that APC has perfected. That was how that dwarfy ugly thing called the Lifeless one to come commision a school in Benin. Only for students of the school to protest three days later that their school lacks chair.

But idiots and people benefiting from this government will tell you that the government meant well.

SE and SS has always been rigged in favour of PDP. They simply thumb print leftover ballot papers for PDP. For example in a polling booth of 700 registered voters, only 250 are actually resident while about 120 will come out to vote. They will just thumb print over 400 for PDP such that even if all real voters (the 120) voted for another party, PDP will still win with a wide margin.
Keep quiet and say what you know. My hometown has more than 70% living outside it. During the election, I travelled down to my hometown, the same goes for hundreds of others. You're saying rubbish.

We told them that APC will win in Kogi they said is not possible APC they didn't learn their lessons.

We told them again that APC will win in Edo they argued again APC won.

We told them again that APC will win in Ondo as thomas they are the argument continued and APC won.

We told them that APC will not win in Anambra but will do well, they were all over the place that APC can not get a vote in South East APC is dead in Igbo land, as usual APC came second behind APGA pulling over 100k votes with PDP coming distant third.

We told them again that APC will win Ekiti and APC won.

Let it be on record again that APC will win Osun again come September 22 and 2019 election.

Saraki, Ortom, Tambuwal and Wike will all loose elections come 2019.

Politics / Re: APC Dissolves State Executive Committee Of The Kwara State Chapter by liohan: 10:53pm On Jul 30, 2018
DTaj:

You are a “political illiterate”!

The only two persons who helped APC win among your long list in 2015 were Kwankwaso and Bukola Saraki. Let me address your ignorant list one after the other:

1. Kwankwaso: Yes, I agree.

2. Saraki: Yes, I agree.

3. Ortom: Capital No!

Ortom was a political orphan in PDP who finished in the 3rd position in PDP Benue Governorship primaries even as Minister of State for Trade and Investment under Jonathan. The two reasons he was elected as APC Governor in 2015 was the influence of Benue politics grandmaster, Senator George Akume (a formerly Governor), and the determination of Benue people to prevent outgoing Governor Gabriel Suswam from imposing his stooge as Governor under PDP.

Ortom cannot win his ward in any election. His major plank of hope in 2019 is hiding under the Fulani herdsmen attacks to curry favour and sympathy.

4. Tambuwal: Capital No!

Tambuwal was just like ‘political orphan’ Ortom in 2015. It was the political grandmaster of Sokoto, Wammako (popularly called “Alu”) who gave an easy ticket to Tambuwal after he had issues with Jonathan as Speaker of the House of Representatives. Wammako pleaded for formidable candidates to step down for Tambuwal, whose influence was never beyond his tiny Tambuwal federal constituency.

5. Hunkuyi and Shehu Sani: Capital no! This is the most laughable on your funny list!

Hunkuyi has a tiny base in Zaria, which is El-Rufai’s home base that had always voted Buhari almost 95% until Ramalan Yero, another Zaria man, was voted as PDP Governor in 2011.

Hunkuyi cannot deliver his polling booth today.

Shehu Sani is merely an activist from the June 12 saga with almost zero political capital or base. He was one of the many Senators and Reps members who got elected on the wave of Buhari’s huge popularity and what was called “APC Sak” (ie “everything APC”) in the North (especially North West and North East) in 2015! He can’t win an election on his street in Kaduna!

Anyone who knows as little as 30% about Nigerian politics should know that among these states, APC will comfortably get 40% in Kwara (reduced from 80% based on Bukola Saraki’s influence); Kano will still massively vote Buhari in spite of Kwankwaso. The only state on your list Buhari may lose outright is Benue, only due to his handling of the Benue killings- meaning a lot of sentimental votes will go to PDP.

Overall, everything considered, in my view, Buhari will win a 2nd term and the margin will be wider than the 2 million he got over Jonathan in 2015...

Facts, not social media sentiments...
grin grin grin grin
Buhari will win a 2nd term and the margin will be wider than the 2 million he got over Jonathan in 2015...
This is the most laughable stuff you wrote after a good analysis.

Is your mum Yoruba or a native Yoruba speaker?
Oga is a standalone Yoruba word meaning Boss/Master/Leader. Just ask about.
She's Yoruba, me think Ilesha. Before you yabb me, ma papa na Deltan. I lay my claim there.
She's born and bred there. She left when she was in her 20s.
With what I have collated so far, the word oga might be incorporated into Yoruba. Or maybe mum's dialect is different. Just maybe.

Culture / Pidgin Words, Meaning And Origin You Need To Know by liohan: 2:41pm On Jan 25, 2018
• Oya
It is used to urge someone to do someone to do something. It originates from Yoruba land from which could mean begin, start or do.
Usage – Oya wo.
• Oga
Oga means boss, one of authority or a rich person. It is from Igbo word ‘Ogaranya’ that it originated. Ogaranya in this case means one who spends a lot of money and has people under him.
Usage – This Oga dey spend sha
• Una
While in English you can be singular or plural, Pidgin English has a word for the plural ‘you’. It is una and it is a corrupted form of ‘unu’ an Igbo word that mean you people. Jamaicans uses unu.
Usage – Una nor go sleep.
• Sabi
Sabi is from Portuguese saber, which means to know. It is still use in this way today.
Usage – You sabi the place?
• Pikin
In Pidgin English pikin means child. Although some rich people simply calls their children child. In fact, some of us know the difference between ‘pikin’ and ‘child’.
The word pikin originated from Portuguese and have a long history of being kind of derogatory. Pequino was the root word which means little. It later became pickaninny to mean children of black slaves. When it came to Nigeria it has become pikin.
Usage – Send that pikin make e buy am come
• Dey
One of the common pidgin word, dey is the pidgin counterpart of ‘to be’. It is from the Igbo word ‘di’ which means to exist. Although, it is debatable. It is used to show position, acts as ‘to be’ (sometime reversed with ‘na’).
Usage – The man dey there.
• Comot
A corruption of the English phrase ‘come out’. It does what the English version do.
Usage – Comot for here.
• Mumu
If you are called mumu by anyone, especially in all caps. My brother or sister go for deliverance. Mumu actually is not a Nigerian word but from the Ewe and Akan language. It means a slowpoke, very dumb, one who behaves like a Mr Bean.
Usage – That man na mumu
• Amebo
Amebo is someone who gossips a lot. In order words, if you want to spread a message but don’t want to do it yourself, tell an amebo. The news would go viral.
It’s of Edoid origin and means a favourite wife. Since the favourite wife knows more about the husband than the other wife/ves do, she usually have more information than the other(s). She would then be the postmaster and the BBC of the house, relaying messages to husband and wives.
Usage – that guy na amebo oh.
• Street
Before 2012, street used to mean a road with house on both side. But in recent years it has come to mean scam, scammers or a tough person. The word evolved from ‘street boys’, which is usually a derogatory term for urchins. Today it has taken a different twist.
Usage – That boy na street. (Scammer, tough person)
- You don run me street. (Scammed)
- See street oh. (When you know of one’s motive to scam you)
• Wahala
Wahala in Arabic means trouble, big mess. It is probably the logical answer for its origin. It would get into the Hausa man vocabulary, who would then pass it into pidgin. In pidgin it means trouble.
Usage – You don spoil the motor. See wahala!
• Doh
In Edo-Delta area, doh is usually used to comfort and cheer someone up. I know it’s used mostly down here in Niger-Delta.
• Abi
It’s used to confirm if something is right. It’s of Yoruba origin. Although some Yoruba prefer shebi.
Usage – Na James number, abi?
• Chop
Chop means to eat in pidgin. It is from English. Chop used to be an informal word in English for eat. It is no longer used.
Usage – You don chop?
• Abeg
From English ‘I beg’. Used to appeal to someone.
Usage – Bros abeg do am for me.

Explorers, baba you get anything to say?

No responsible person would fight against cattle colony at least we are not.
The pertinent question we are asking is that -
Who will be the major beneficiaries?
Would the colony be segmented? Because we all know that while other ethnic groups have integrated themselves into Nigeria, the Fulani people have not. Nigeria currently does not have security, we all know that. Won't they use it as a base for colonising the local people?
That is our major concern.
