I see Huawei surviving this...
Mainly by European and Asian backup...
Uk, France and Germany have given them a Go with building their 5G...
Asian countries would also do same, except Japan and maybe South Korea
Who are the Asians?
The next biggest market in Asia after China, India, will rather align with the US than with the Chinese.

Celebrities / How Celebrities Live Fake Lives - A 19 Year Old Experiment by liohan: 1:35pm On Mar 29, 2019
A 19-year-old vlogger who spent a week pretending he was rich on social media says he was surprised by how easy it was.

Byron Denton, a London-based YouTuber known for his channel tbhbyron, started posting edited photos of himself on Instagram in late January.

The pictures showed him wearing designer clothing from brands like Balenciaga and Off-White, shopping at Louis Vuitton, and sitting on a private jet, among other activities you'd expect to see on a celebrity or influencer's Instagram.

After a week of posting edited photos, Denton revealed the truth on YouTube
Speaking to INSIDER, Denton said his experiment was inspired by YouTubers like George Mason, who faked going on vacation for a week earlier this year.

"I saw a lot of people faking holidays and stuff, but I thought it would be cool to take a different approach," the 19-year-old said. "I'd always wondered if the reason people are so obsessed with celebrities was due to the fact they can afford to live a life not everyone can."

Denton used photo-editing software to turn a green couch into a private jet. Courtesy of Byron Denton
The vlogger said he used two photo-editing apps, FaceTune and PicsArt, to "superimpose" images together and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom to "color the final product." On average, it took him around 45 minutes from shooting to editing to create each Instagram post.

Denton said most people didn't notice his pictures were edited
According to the vlogger, during the week of his experiment, around five people messaged him or commented on his posts wondering whether his photos were real.

But everyone else bought the lie, Denton said. In fact, some of his family members even commented on his posts and asked his parents how he was affording the “sudden lifestyle change."

The 19-year-old said that while his follower count on Instagram didn't change much at first, people's engagement with his posts — the number of comments and likes — "shot up massively."

"I had a lot of messages from my friends asking how I was affording all the designer stuff and a lot of comments from my followers asking if I'd won the lottery or something," Denton said.

According to Denton, as the week went on and his photos started to show more lavish activities, he began to gain more followers.

But the vlogger thinks this was more due to the fact that people were surprised he could suddenly afford such a luxurious lifestyle and would share his posts with their friends.

"I'm pretty open with my audience about everything in my life so to them it was unusual," Denton said.

The vlogger was 'shocked' by how easy it was to fake being rich
Denton said he was also surprised by how many people took the edited photos at face value.

"[The experiment has] made me question everyone's moves on social media," the vlogger said. "Do a lot of the high-profile bloggers these days actually make their way to the top by being honest or do they fake some of it?"

Overall, the 19-year-old said, people's feedback to his video was positive. Some of his followers even asked him to edit their photos and make them appear rich, too.

Crime / Offa Robbery: Police Asked Me To Implicate Saraki – Suspect by liohan: 10:51pm On Mar 15, 2019
A suspect in last year’s robbery attacks on commercial banks in Offa, Kwara state, Ayoade Akinnibosun, on Friday told an Ilorin High Court how the police asked him to implicate the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki.

Akinnibosun and two other suspects, Ibikunle Ogunleye (2nd accused person) and Adeola Abraham (3rd accused person) narrated before the court how police extracted statement from them by force during the course of investigation of the incident.

The suspects also disclosed that the principal suspect in the robbery incident who was a dismissed police officer, Michael Adikwu was shot dead by one Inspector Vincent attached to the police Intelligence Response Team (IRT).

Akinnibosun, Ogunleye and Abraham were examined and cross-examined by their counsel, Mathias Emeribe and prosecution counsel, Razaq Gold, in a trial within trial on how they were tortured and threatened by the police to make confessional statements.

The prosecution witness, Inspector Hitila Hassan, had on Thursday told the court that the suspects voluntarily gave their statements under his supervision.

Lead Prosecuting Counsel, Prof. Wahab Egbewole sought to tender the statements as exhibit but the defence counsel, Mathias Emeribe objected.

Emeribe argued that the statements were not voluntarily taken, noting that they fell short of the provisions of the Evidence Act particularly sections 28 and 29.

At the resumed hearing today, Akinnibosun said “Abba Kyari told me to mention the name of Senate President Bukola Saraki that he gave me the guns for the operations. But I declined to do that contending that my life is at stake.

“He (Abba Kyari) promised that they would reward me handsomely and set me free if I can indict Senator Saraki. When I disagreed they called some policemen to take me back to their cell. During this time, my hands were tied to my legs in the back.”

The suspect added that he was the leader of Kwara South Liberation Movement mobilizing young jobless graduates for the Senator representing Kwara South district in the upper legislative chamber, Dr Rafiu Ibrahim.

“The essence is to secure government jobs for the boys,” he said.

Ayoade Akinnibosun, Ibikunle Ogunleye and Adeola Ibrahim gave graphic details of their horrifying experience allegedly in the police custody in Abuja.

During one of their encounters at the police IRT ‘theatre room,’ they said in their presence Inspector Vincent allegedly shot dead five Fulani men.

‘The theatre room,’ according to them is the generator room of the IRT’s office and it also doubles as where suspects are extra-judicially executed.

They added that it was in the same ‘theatre room that Inspector Vincent otherwise known as ‘Mr. Torture,’ allegedly shot dead Michael Adikwu for failing to indict them in the robbery incident.

According to Ibikunle Ogunleye “they brought the late Adikwu to implicate us and he said he had not met any of us in his life that is why Mr. Torture shot him to death.”

The trial Judge, Justice Halimat Salman adjourned the case to March 25, 2019 for continuation of trial within trial.

I SAID IT YESTERDAY THAT RESULTS FROM LGAs IN DELTA CENTRAL WILL REDUCE THE GAP BETWEEN ATIKU AND BUHARI IN DELTA STATE. BUHARI WON 2 LGAs CLEARLY OUT OF 8 IN DELTA CENTRAL. HE LOST WITH SMALL MARGINS IN THE REMAINING SIX. THE POPULARITY OF OGBORU AND RUGGEDNESS OF OMOAGEGE HAS GREATLY STRENGHTEN APC IN DELTA CENTRAL SENATORIAL DISTRICT. IBE KACHIKWU AND OTHER APC LEADERS IN DELTA NORTH ARE NOT COMMITED ENOUGH OR THEY DON'T HAVE THE STRENGHT TO OPPOSE AND REDUCE THE PDP RIGGING MACHINARY IN DELTA NORTH. IF NOT, APC SHOULD DO NETTER THAN THIS IN DELTA STATE. THERE WERE REPORTS OF MASSIVE RIGGING IN DELTA NORTH AND DELTA SOUTH WHERE ATIKU GOT THE FIGURES. EVEN WITH THAT, BUHARI STILL GOT ABOUT 37 PERCENT OF THE VOTES OWING TO THE RESULTS FROM THE LGAs IN DELTA CENTRAL. OGBORU AND OMOAGEGE HAS DONE WELL FOR BUHARI. KUDOS.
Your comment is idiotic as it gets. Which rig in Delta South or North?
You were right about the Delta Central though but the rigging machinery you said about the other parts made it idiotic.

What naira is strong?
Can these people stop being political? Besides this is election period when both sides of the divide would run with any news, it is thus important that bodies like this try to be non-partisan.

The fact remains that we have never been so cursed like this that we have more than three exchange rates with some being official depending on where you go.
ABCON should know that whether buhari wins or Atiku does, they will need to align with the government of the day. It's important they use wisdom so as not to damage their much cherished AGIP role.

Yambee:
Confused politicians.

Still don't know why i waste my time reading half cooked soups online. The attack on Buhari by Atiku, and his desperate online Buccaneers, smacks of a losing desperation by losers.

Now is his assets?what assets?yesterday they said the acting CJN was his classmates. A classmate when 3 days earlier, the same Buhari was accused of not attending secondary school. Really?

Look at the latinum of hate lined up under me, spewing hate. Buhari is your next President, and you can either move to Togo or join Atiku in Cameroon.

Losers.
Why won't you support a buhari with your bad grammar? Seems you know more than Farooq Kperogi. Look him up, if you have not heard of him.

I would have been extremely disappointed with myself if I voted for buhari. I know his pious and "holy" lifestyle is a scam used to deceive the gullible who feel not flaunting wealth is the same as not stealing. This is because he contributed little or nothing to improve the lifestyle of his support base - he keeps lying that he's poor that he can't afford things. Yet, all his children schooled in some of the most expensive schools in Nigeria and the world.

Now whenever we say all these, bmc will keep comparing him to Atiku. Where then is his supposed integrity if he's not different from the other politicians?
Fact remains that buhari is a scam.
