Secondly, spending millions on relief materials then sending it to IDP camps makes no sense when you have members in need is hyprocricy. That is why I left LFC Wurukum, Makurdi in 2018.
I was part of thousands of people displaced that year as I lost everything and I mean everything as I was squatting with a friend.
We found out from one of the staffs that 11 million naira was released for relief materials and they bought all of stuffs only to realize they were going to handover those materials to the benue state government.
We the affected members went to the church leaders then to express our concern that we members that were affected that pay our tithe and offering are not being considered but the hands of the church leaders were also tied.
To cut the long story short, the materials were taken to a government bonded warehouse for the purpose of storing those material and case closed. The materials were never distributed but got to find out it will be distributed as election campaign materials by the government of the day and you know the most annoying thing is that on the day the church wanted to handover those items news media outlet was on ground to cover the event and guess who paid? I found all this out myself.
From that day I swore never to have anything to do with church ever and I think I am better off that way because the hyprocricy was just too
It was the so called "unbelievers" that assisted me to pick up the broken pieces of my life and I am glad I moved past that episode.
The bottom line is a church that doesn't have welfare program for widows, orphans and the poor and needy consistently and focuses on building structures is a scam.
A church that pays it's staffs peanut and expects it's staffs to observe the fear of God by not stealing or diverting such funds when it's so glaring to the staffs that their welfare can be improved is a scam.
Let's go back to the Acts of the Apostles where we saw the real acts of the church not all this acting.
Let's stop all this nonsense in the name of Church for Christ sake.

Even the pastoral staffs are not spared as they are paid stipends because you take advantage of the high unemployment rate in the country to employ people and subject them to demanding work schedules all in the name of God.
Ministries like Salvation ministry, DayStar and the rest don't joke with staff welfare but you do. It's interesting to note that you still pay even your security personnel as poor as 10k-20k, while accountants and auditors earn between 30k+ to 50k+ depending on the year of entry and state.
So my concern is that with all your boasting as the richest pastor and the richest church your staff welfare policy is poor.
The wealth of King Solomon reflected on his servants, the blessings on Salvation ministry and the rest reflects on their staffs. Allow the wealth of the commission to reflect on your staffs.
Take care of your admin and pastoral staffs and they will take care of the work and don't expect the best from an ill motivated work staff. Thank you!

I am a member with the Living Faith Church (Winners' Chapel) but when I see injustice I hate it.

What is attached is a letter of disengagement mearnt for a set of Pastors called "Country Side Pastors" which were engaged 5-6 ago who were posted to villages and their pay is not up to 25k monthly.

I am disgusted by this act because they were employed stating the reason why they were engaged but they are been fired not stating the reason why are being disengaged.

The question is how many of them can meet the age limit of 45 years to be missionary evangelist when 5 or 6 years ago when they came in as ICP the age limit was still set at 45 years? Except if they want them to lie.

That has been the style of the commission since inception to hire and fire at will by taking advantage of the high unemployment rate in the country.

I know for sure that the church has branches in African and foreign nations and they adhere strictly to their labour laws of other countries but because of the religious nature of our nation the government has become inept in checking the excesses of our churches which are gradually becoming a law to themselves.

They are registered as a non-profit making organization but have built massive wealth over the years but when it comes to staff renumeration you'll be shocked at what is being paid to both pastoral and administrative staff.
It will surprise you that a security personnel which is the least paid is still being paid 10-20k and our pastors are even worst at entry a degree holder earns 35k while those that have stayed up to 10 years earn 55k and those at an average of 18 to 20 years earn 100k even in the face of economic hardship and the annoying thing is that this people are our staffs.

We accuse the Lebenese and Chinese of flagrant disregard for labour laws but note that the churches are the worst and this are the same people that attack the government at every opportunity but are the worst when it comes to being an example.

The abuse is becoming alarming as the workers are poorly paid and work under severe and stringent conditions while the church itself is massively rich and the overseer boast of his wealth.

You can't disengage a staff without stating the reason(s) why he/she was sacked. It is unscriptural and out of tune with clause that guides employee/employer relationship.

I think it's high time something is done about this because we cannot claim to be working for God and making the lives of men misreable.

Please, let someone teach him how to be a friend. A friend doesn't go to social media to show he's s friend. Mumu!
