in 2015 we need a president like charvez.
A person who will radically change nigeria ,a true patriot and a very strong character.
Sadly like venezula in 1999 we are truely a broken nation and need that sort of person.
While i have praised ngozi and think she is the best minister there(not hard to be looking at the rest)  she lacks any of those characters to do it.
So no she does not have my support.

what did they use as baseline for determining the tribes.
while you can use dna to determine someone parents by taking samples of relatives  and there is a more recent dna that looks at sequence that can tell broadly if the person is native american or black or european and this are not even pretty accurate .however to determine the tribe so specifically is pretty hard and will require a lot of baseline studies of those tribes (since its hard to find a 100% unique to that tribe) and such studies are pretty hard to do and time consuming  and probably with a good deal margin of error.
i am intrested in the actual procedure used .
genealogical DNA is very inaccruate and thats even after it been done with a large study group to try isolate particular sequences.

i think buhari regime was probably the best.yes,it was a military dictator but there was discipline and order and people were afraid to steal.

not online is the airport way way below the standards for that type of money spent ,it is not even near completion as of june 2011.
it is bad enough we know they stole millions of $$$ building that cheap looking airport(go look for yourself to judge) but they could not even complete it before comissioning it.

Naira is down against all major currency.It is at 268 to the £.
The market is deciding the value of the naira.
We should look into different factors like how much naira is in circulation etc.

while i can understand nigerian fustration with thieves ,this guy is a petty thief at best.
He did not deserve what was done to him and i am suprised no one stopped to calm the angry mob.Someone should have stopped and pleaded with them to take him to police .

I have to admit that the movies are poor production(check out the bad sounds outside and the night scenes),poor dialogue,irrevalant additions(watching someone eat for 10 mins or drive a car around),terrible acting .
But i love watching them because quite simply they are fun to laugh at for all the silly mistakes and terrible dialogue ,and despite often been 3 hrs long i find myself in a good mood at the end.
So what are your reasons for watching nollywood movies?

El Rufai has very little credibility and comes across like a man who as stated by many is looking for a way back into power/money as the "pipeline is closed for him".
He must first account for a regime he served for 8 years before pointing on other regime.

Granted he is smarter and better spoken then most of the usual corrupt politicans but he is STILL a corrupt politican desperate for power .

The proposed launching into the orbit of Nigeria's latest two satellites on July 7 will no longer hold as scheduled, the National Space Research and Development Agency has said.

While one of the satellites, the NigeriaSat-2, was constructed by Surrey Satellite Technologies Limited; the second, NigeriaSat-X, is an experimental satellite constructed by Nigerian engineers using the facilities of SSTL.

A statement issued by the Head, Media and Corporate Affairs, NSRDA, Mr. Felix Ale, in Abuja on Tuesday, said the postponement was due to logistics and technical reasons.

Ale said, "The postponement was due to a report from the launch site in Russia, which indicates some logistics and technical reasons. However, a new date for the launch will be announced soon.

"Launch delay is a frequent occurrence in the launching business, as this is a very critical and sensitive stage. Any failure can be very devastating, thus launch agencies will always take adequate measures to ensure a perfect launch even if this translates into a delay."

He added, "Nigeria, like all other space faring nations, has had a similar experience in the past, which is a common phenomenon in satellite business.

"NASRDA assures Nigerians of its commitment to working with its technical partners for the successful launch of the two satellites."

Both satellites were scheduled to be launched in Yasney, Russia, by Dnepr, a satellite launch services provider.

People just talk.Nigeria is NOT a spacefaring nation but like many nations contract spacefaring nations to build them and launch it.

Currently there are 4 main players in building and launching satellites for other nations.Of which only 2 are currently capable of crewed launch (USA returing this month its last crewed capable craft leaving russia and china only).

Russia - considered the 2nd cheapest to order from after china ,best history in space,considered to have the surdiest and most reliable satellites ,but has a history of delayed delivery and have actually messed up some orders in terms of specs before.

China- new player ,cheapest,not proven track record.

European space agency - costly but reliable.

Only 9 countries are capable or have been of launching their own vechiles into space ,Iran joining in 2009.By definition we are certainly not a spacefaring nation.

USA- good all rounder but costly and have a higher history of orbital decay compared to Russia.

If you fail in just writing an article, what moral justification do you have to describe someone who has one of the most difficult jobs in the world as a failure.

Yesterday i was told by mallam that it was buy 257 naira to £1 and if you check them it exactly that .

I blame the british government in this.
If you read the daily mail she already signed a five figure deal with a newspaper for her story.The government should collect that to pay for the bill to start with.
Also we are not told when they discovered she was pregnant .They should have kept her on a plane asap back to Nigeria and let them deal with it .

Time to stop tribalism ,north/south wars,religious fights etc.PDP is leading the nation to disaster.

i think there actually a law against emergency services striking which includes doctors,police and the almost non existant firemen.But in practise like many things in nigeria its a different scenario.

The british in this case have actually been very good and this is why many people exploit the NHS not just nigerians.

Reason El Rufai is gainig popularity is simply because he is talking against the government.
But the truth is the "messiah" nigeria needs,the chavez of nigeria ,the putin of nigeria is certainly not this guy.His hands are not clean,he still associates with people who have stolen their share of the national cake and he lacks the vision .
he has stolen his own share of the national cake and as someone pointed out if the government truely open his files many offences will come out.
He might be the best talking at the moment but he is certainly not fresh air.
We need a true believer in nigeria not someone trying to push his way back in by another means.I respect him talking out but i feel he is not the man we need.

Well we shall see what comes out of this project in time .

i doubt they have a nuclear bomb to deonate.but if they do US response would be intresting because since al Qaida is based in many countries they don't have particular country to nuke.And of course nuking random suspect countries is not an option to start with as this will cause radiation clouds to drift over europe and most crucially Russia who will not take kindly to that.

However,i believe if they indeed have a nuclear bomb they would probably have used it long ago .

if somehow Lagos and Nigeria has infinite resources to do so then they should.We can even build the largest skyscraper too IF money is infinite and i am sure even you have to agree its not.All countries go by priorities and fix those things first.Nigeria is a long way from doing it and for years each government both state and presidential have made promises all this essential will be in place and having been in lagos very recently they are years away from this .
Future plans should first be those things then you can build a new airport assuming its even needed .
