PoliticsRe: How Expensive Is It To Maintain A Car In England by liquid7: 6:43pm On Apr 19, 2011
wrong forum .needs to be moved.
car maintance is not super expensive espically when you find the right mechanic but there are other costs that makes it terribly expensive.

car insurance here depends on your number of yrs driving and not claiming and the type of car and engine size.

for instance a driver of 1 year who buys a 2.0l engine will pay about £2200 in insurance a year alone.if you claim or the car is classified as sport then it can easily double.
a driver of 1 yr not claiming ,parking the car in a garage at night with 1.4l engine car will be about £900.

you have to keep the car in good condition espically near MoT check.if it fails the check then you cannot use the car on the road.this is done yearly and test itself cost £41.
road disc is about £120 per year, depending again.

petrol is about £1.25 per litre.

if you live in london and wish to drive to the centre you also must pay a charge(forgot how much as its been a while since i drove to london).
PoliticsRe: The Real Map Of Nigeria -the Ultimate Truth by liquid7: 6:34pm On Apr 19, 2011
i support buhari and i am from niger delta .
tribal politics is something i do not practise .
as for this continous cry to divide nigeria ,if nigeria must split explain to me why niger delta should not split as well.People leeching our oil are not just hausa people.Ibo and yorubas also take a good slice of it too so why must we split and join them.
Stop calling for split unless you want nigeria to fragment to 4-6 pieces .
PoliticsRe: Stop Killing Igbos - Remember, Endurance Has A Limit by liquid7: 11:30am On Apr 19, 2011
history sadly has shown whenever there is a riot in the north its the igbos that suffer since they are the most spreadout tribe in nigeria so become the target ,pretty much like the jews were in europe .
PoliticsRe: How Do You Want Nigeria Sliced? by liquid7: 11:18am On Apr 19, 2011
i rather nigeria stays as 1 but if it must divide then niger delta should be a country on its own.why go thru the pains of dividing when in the end you are still going to have to give it out just instead to new masters in lagos.
I prefer a situation where each state is self providing and what they make they keep and pay an agreed tax to the federal government.
that way states that produce nothing will have to wake up and do something to make money rather then just sit down and wait for other states with the resources to provide for them.
by the way am i missing something i see posts about yorubas having oil?
PoliticsRe: Elections Were Rigged; Why Are We Not All Protesting? by liquid7: 11:02am On Apr 19, 2011
GenBuhari:
@liquid 7
I agree with you about the western nation being against Buhari as they could exploit Nigeria more under PDP corrupt government.
So why do you then say he should approach western CNN and BBC?, dont u realise they are not independant of their governments?

My personal view is that, I DO NOT BLAME PEOPLE FOR BEING ANGRY THAT THEY HAVE BEEN CHEATED.

Buhari never caused the riot,

rigging the elections, caused the riots
guess because there is little or no other option.violence is not the answer.
and the average nigerian probably does not realise they are as poor now as they were 12 yrs ago which shows no progress from 12 yrs of pdp .
people point to mobile phone as "progress" and don't realise it would come to nigeria pretty much as it did most countries in the world despite whichever government.
simple things like constant electricity many countries take for granted 12 yrs of pdp cannot solve it.
PoliticsRe: Elections Were Rigged; Why Are We Not All Protesting? by liquid7: 10:41am On Apr 19, 2011
were the election rigged?ofc.its impossible to get 100% turnout for any election anywhere in the world.i know a couple in yenagoa who did not vote.
then you have some states declaring 95-99% of votes for GEJ.

my problem with buhari is that he has not come outright and asked people to stop rioting.had he done that and then push the international community and made noise to bbc and cnn as well as shown videos of how pdp rigged(there already 1 on youtube even),he might actually cause enough for the international community to listen.

sadly the international monitors are not very intrested at this point because a pdp government has proven to them over the cause of 12 yrs to be reliable at pumping the oil and letting their companies pollute the land .Also the current corruption that plagues nigeria is the best they ever had for their own gains.in the past when diko brought £100m to uk it was a super big deal nowadays minsters who have been office barely 1 yr can do that and more .
A PDP/GEJ government is just perfect for them
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Set To Win, Aided By Southern Magic Numbers by liquid7: 6:26am On Apr 18, 2011
well 8 yrs the party did nothing now we elect them again.in uk brown did not lose because cameron was a messiah or obama in the us.they won because people were fed up of the direction those parties were taken.
look at the uk,labour has gone back to the drawing board to see where they went wrong as did cons when major lost.
here we have an awful party that lead the country badly for 8 yrs and we want more.
i would have thought the niger delta would have voted .
was the election rigged ?for sure by all parties just that GEJ and pdp have the national reserves at their desposal to rig it even more is all.
sadly nigeria can never have the liver of countries like egypt to say enough is enough to this bogus leaders and their ways and as such will remain a poor country no matter what resources they have which is basically oil and thats it,once that dries out we become a nation of nothing and no one will care neither.
PoliticsRe: Yorubas Did Not Vote For GEJ, Igbos Did by liquid7: 6:29pm On Apr 17, 2011
onye_ngbu*:
This newfound igbo electoral strength powered by unity is a new introduction that has changed political landscape of nigeria.
Northerners will no longer threaten igbos with their unfounded population number. This election has exposed them.

Obiagu1:
They thought we can be overlooked. Igbos gave GEJ both SE and SW, a clear victory.
Ensured he got decent votes in the core North to meet the 25% requirement.

All those Odeyorubas should go and weep.

PoliticsRe: Is Nigeria Actually The Giant Of Africa? by liquid7: 6:07pm On Apr 17, 2011
giant in population, dwarf in progress and influence.
take away the oil from nigeria then no one will even care if a nuclear bomb wipes it off the map.
only reason US bothers with nigeria is because of oil prices but since they already bought and paid for the leaders to do their bidding years ago they have no worries.
PoliticsRe: Pop Sontin'! Its In The Bag by liquid7: 6:01pm On Apr 17, 2011
which one concern igbo man with niger delta?
because babaginda dead wife wanted to make a state with her village a capital?
PoliticsRe: Sahara Reporters? Biased Reporting? by liquid7: 5:54pm On Apr 17, 2011
sahars reporters were very important when the fiasco happened that saw GEJ become president.
they are at least more free and less biased then anything based in nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Alleges Rigging Of Election by liquid7: 5:51pm On Apr 17, 2011
what gets me is those states which has incredible high numbers .ok we all know kano is indeed very large and populated but look at rivers and delta.
anyhow nigerians will just have to live with GEJ and not complain because they had their chance to break the old guard of pdp and did not.
PoliticsRe: Presidential Election, 16th April, 2011 by liquid7: 11:39pm On Apr 16, 2011
reindeer:
haha!!! grin grin grin grin

This is more like the fishes that will vote for GEJ in Bayelsa, grin
number of fish =zero ,since GEJ don carry all the money shell donate to am ,make they pollute the water .
that is why i can never support GEJ as a fellow niger delta no matter how corrupt i am just watching over the years how this companies pollute and destroy the lands and rivers is enough for me to kick them all out if i became president.GEJ has let them continue to shit in the same land he will one day return to.
When the oil runs out ,We in Niger delta will be the poorest people on the planet.
abeg make Buhari come .GEJ we dey wait for you for house.
PoliticsRe: Presidential Election, 16th April, 2011 by liquid7: 11:34pm On Apr 16, 2011
GEJ let someone else become president?
no bloody way,he will cancel election, empty the little money we have left before that happens.such is the nature of GEJ  desperation.
for all those saying all are voting along religious and geographical lines.I am fron niger delta and a christian and by that logic i should have voted for GEJ without a thought but went for Buhari as i see him as the lesser of all the evils running.

Yes General Buhari is man will respect so much.

Vote Jonathan/Samo team. This is the time for real change.
Actually since GEJ is already president there can be NO change if he is elected.Your comment is thus not valid.
PoliticsRe: Nigerians! Buhari Is The Man! by liquid7: 4:01pm On Apr 15, 2011
sadly NONE of them are fit to rule a LovePeddler house talk less of a country but this is what we are presented with and have to pick the lesser of the evils. Thus, i give my support to buhari. cry

PoliticsRe: How GEJ Will Win On Saturday Foretold by liquid7: 3:31pm On Apr 15, 2011
Rossikk:
EzeUche, do you get that feeling that great things are just round the corner for our nation once this man is elected?

Some of us who know about the numerous large scale programs and projects just waiting to be executed once this whole election cycle is over with, can hardly wait. From the PIB, to the Power Road Map, to the Natural Gas investments, to the various rail and infrastructure projects in the pipeline and under various stages of completion. Exciting times really lie ahead. smiley
ok can you explain to us that really want to know and maybe gain that faith too.what has GEJ done to gain your faith. Not what he said but done as we had numerous leaders in the past promise.
he is already the president so surely there something GREAT he has done to make you have faith in this one man.
PoliticsRe: How GEJ Will Win On Saturday Foretold by liquid7: 3:28pm On Apr 15, 2011
all analysis is pointless as the election is going to be rigged anyhow.
it will show a comfortable win for GEJ.
PoliticsRe: I Was A Doctor In Nigeria, Now A Cleaner In Canada by liquid7: 3:19pm On Apr 15, 2011
i will comment on all this.
i have been based a few years as a doctor in UK and seen folks move to canada and australia from here.
None end up as cleaners as they understand whats what.
Clearly none of this people did.
Firsly in ALL this countries you must pass a licencing exam.In uk you can use this exam to get a licence to practise in australia /NZ but not canada. You must pass their licencing exam.If you do not have a CCST from the UK you must do their residency program which in most cases requires canadian citizenship.
So maybe if they bothered to find out about canada before rushing there they would not end up as they did.
And the problem is worse now that the UK has closed its borders to immigration forcing this ppl to run to canada .in the past it was uk to canada. But most leaving the uk for canada already pre prepared themselves with most writing all revelant exam and immigration paper work before going there.
PoliticsRe: Video Evidence Of Massive Rigging! by liquid7: 3:12pm On Apr 15, 2011
i have kept in on my facebook and posted the link to sky news as i know bbc will never even consider carrying it as it shows most likely rigging by PDP and the west will prefer GEJ to stay as he has proven to be a good puppy for them .
imagine if one of the other candidates does a "hugo chavez" on them- forces them to clean up their oil spills, kicks them out and brings in their own citizens to drill and supply the oil ,kills corruption making it impossible to bribe .They made 1 mistake they will certainly not let it repeat.
