Adeleke had the pdp,adeleke had the likes of aregbesola to sabotage his party......and you saw how close the margin was,adeleke has nothing to loose if tinubu wins and a lot to loose if he places his gamble on atiku or obi and they end up loosing......even if he doesn't support tinubu,he wouldn't go out of his way to stop him from winning as tinubu has done for him in this election ......that in itself is support.

If this is the case, Tinubu will still struggle to get re-elected. Obi will dominate him in the Southeast and Southsouth while Atiku’s people will also support him with their full chest this time. 5.6m votes out of Tinubu's 8m votes were from the North while Atiku only got circa 1m votes of his total 6.9m from the South. If the 2027 elections becomes regional, Tinubu will have no pathway to victory.

Obi will win which SS,you over reach yourself just to validate ur fantasies about atiku becoming president.......tinubu will win SS and his 25% in the 5 SE states is guaranteed......every sane man can see how weaker the obi tsunami has grown and atiku is nowhere to be found in the south so where does he want to get his spread even if he wins the north which still isnt possible,anywhere atiku wins in the north apc will come a close second.....tinubu on the other hand has heavily consolidated in the SS and you delude yourself to believe obi can outspend apc or match apc force for force or evn outrig them.ad the ruling party.........the earlier atiku knows how dangerous you are to him,the better for him.

Imagine INEC becoming truly independent and the chairman not appointed by the president. Most of our politicians today won't even smell the seat of power.

In a free and fair election, Tinubu won't win in 2027 because he has no achievement to campaign with. Majority of those that are supporting him are not doing so based on ideology, it's because of financial gains. Which organic followers Tinubu get? He only relies on "rigging machinery & the structure of Chop I Chop".

Election isnt free and fair but adeleke is winning in osun? You're the one missing the point! When it comes to Osun state, our vote is often used to make a statement; by way of showing acceptance or registering our displeasure. We are always that way!

I'm from Osun state (although I was born in Lagos). My family house is not far from Tinubu's ancestral home, yet, I'm not from Iragbiji. If you're very conversant with Osun state, by now, you must have figured out which town I hail from.

Before the last presidential election, we were arguing in my family house whether Tinubu would win in Osun state or not. I (being from Lagos) was shocked when those on ground told me that nobody gives a fffck about him. As far as they were concerned, he wasn't one of them. Now, remind me again who was PDP's presidential candidate. ATIKU? The truth is that Osun people didn't vote PDP because of ATIKU, they just wanted to make a statement against TINUBU because they blamed him for imposing OYETOLA on them.

I believe you understand my point by now.

2027 is still a long way to go, and it's not certain that ADELEKE will honour any agreement of supporting Tinubu. But I'm happy APC is being defeated in today's election. It will dampen their cockiness a bit and make TINUBU shelve whatever anti-people policy he has up his sleeve. At least, for now.

As far as I'm concerned, APC losing today's governorship election is a WIN for the people. The message is simple; if you want our vote, at least, have the decency to do something for us. Don't depend on the corrupt structure of Chop I Chop to win election.

Tinubu came from a weaker position in 23,he is now the CinC.......obj lost SW in 99 but we all know what happened in 03.....adeleke winning is to a bigger advantage to tinubu than if he had lost.......tinubu knows this and he wouldn't want a repeat of 23,he would have done his home work and knows its best not to stand in Adeleke's way to victory only he can't support him openly......a lot of handshake would have gone under the table for adeleke not to follow atiku to ADC.

Almost all the people I spoke to back home told me that ADELEKE would win. At the moment, there's no discontent between him and the Civil servants. Bros still construct roads full everywhere. On top all that, he still share money. Tell me, why will the people reject him at the poll?

The only reason APC is having a good showing because they presented a formidable candidate. AMBO too is well liked. And from what I understand, his people (The Ikires) have been yearning to govern the state.

If APC had presented OYETOLA, Adeleke would have defeated him before 12 noon.

All the APC gangsterism has been rendered ineffective. For once, let them realize that it's the people who elect leaders and not "their corrupt political chop I chop structure".

Secondly, a loss for Tinubu in Osun state will make him take governance seriously as a precursor for winning 2027. Not that any reasonable person will want him to win though, but at least, he'll shelve any anti-people policy that he may be harbouring in mind for now.

I can't imagine the kind of dance step that our Osun-made MICHAEL JACKSON will come up with after being declared winner.

Thats where you always get it wrong,the voted atiku got in the south were pdp votes,now where is that structure? Pdp is entirely dead in the SW ......you should be more worried about how atiku can get the spread even if he wins the north which isn't possible......apc still have their structures intact and are far more stronger than they were in 23 except you want to keep deceiving yourself.

If your atiku has now started famzing adeleke again for lack of friends,you should hide your face when aso rock is the first place he visits when he wins.

He has many more "turncoats" like Sanwo-olu currently in the ranks of the AapC whom are all looking for an opportunity to break free. It will be foolhardy to imply that every voter that turned out to vote for both candidates today will be voting Tinubu in 2027.
