What all your governments have not done is diversify the economy adequately...not just APC, every one of them.

Nigerian economy is far more diversified than you really think.....% of crude oil sales to nigeria's gdp is just about 6% way below agric @ 22-25% and the service sector which is tbe largest contributor is @ 50%......the problem is we arent still productive enough as a people which is why our country remains poor.

Tinubu has set the tough ambition of getting us to $1tr by 2030 which is an onerous task if I must say because to will have to get gdp growth rate double figures whike we are still struggling with 6%.......bank recapitalisation of 500b is a major step and should be applauded,now they banks are being well positioned to effectively power the economy such as investmentin the power sector and our industrial sectors.....Nigeria still has alot of huge potential but still being crippled by bad governance especially by the sub nationals.

You talked about electricity subsidies, are you even seeing the light to even start with. Your government had to go and install solar in aso Rock because they have a tangible solutions

What I expected the tulumbu govt to have done is remove the subsidy in phases after ensuring that adequate safety nets has been put in place which are accessible and spread nation wide to reach the common man in the village

There are installmental options for owning cng kits just like you can buy phones and solar equipments in installments,thats accessibility and the fact that cbg is an option,its definitely a cushion for high fuel prices.

If CNG isn't widespread, it's cause many Nigerians haven't explored that option yet and many consider it too complicated, thats not tinubu's fault but one thing is certain that thise who have got the CNG are really smiling now with pms prices going up.

If subsidy wasn't removed DRL wouldn't have been incentivised to sell to the local market.....the refineries we claim we have are deadbeat and we got scammed for those refineries,we got the worst technology in the market when we were building them thats why they remain unserviceable sucking up billions of naira......dangote is our immediate go to saviour and we should be glad its here.....things would have been really worse without it.

Nigerians for who we are,there isn't any short cut to subsidy removal than to remove it completely......you disincentivise corruption in that space,almighty america hasn't been able to stop narcotics from entering their country despite all the technology and financial muscle,how can you get nigerian govt to fight powerful cartels in that space.

Oil output was at 1.2m bpd when tinubu came in but mow its gotten to 1.8m body as at the most recent report......its a feat worth commending.
