https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2XRRKjCHhU The seeds of Nigeria's negative international reputation began in the 70's with Nigeria at the forefront of challenging the West's position on Apartheid South Africa, helping to fund Jamaica civil service when Jamaica was at odds with US for pivoting towards communist Cuba. Nigeria continued with pushing for the set up of None Aligned Nations block and carried on to Humiliate US and the West in Liberia and Sierra Leone etc. By the time the Wests covet political machinations and overt media machinery was done with Nigeria, we became most corrupt people in the world, criminals, thieves, failed state and battling all sorts of terrorists and separatists. The worst part for me was that black people and the rest of Africa carried our matter for head past the West. They just loved the reputation the West created for us, thus we became the thieves in South Africa that South African just loved to use on us. And we became the scammers that African nations love to use as excuse for thire petty jalousies. Now that South Africa is beginning to flex on the world stage as Nigeria did, well........ |
Start a tiny Chip and Processor Company. Don't defeat yourself before you've began with the propaganda that because you're black and African this is beyond your ability. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TFIiatNmpc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hA0u9MLH1t4 |
Let me just add this for those it concerns: your nation's success and progress is not dependent on Nigeria breaking up. Nigeria at conflict isn't going to make any country in Africa suddenly greater. African nations need to work hard: your government and talented people need to perform at the optimum. I added this because I suspect this thread is here in order to illicit Yoruba Igbo bashing. |
This is not a major event and Tobi is still world record holder and world champion in the 100m hurdle. She, like others , are working their way up to championship fitness with these seasonal track meets. The first significant competition, the 2023 World Athletics Championships, is scheduled for 19 August to 27 August, 2023, Budapest, Hungary . Until then, Tobi is still the raining champion and true queen while Camacho is just one of the many pretenders to the throne. |
Is Lagos a foreign country? Igbos are Nigerians in Lagos Nigeria. The call attributed to Soludo was rather insensitive and unstateman, petulant as it was like a sulking child. One can't even excuse it by arguing that his was the act of economic opportunism. Are Igbos in Lagos more persecuted than Igbos in foreign country Ghana? Why didn't he invite Igbos in Ghana to return to Anambra or whatever? Niaraland and affected fake tribalism. |
Why cant the majority of Lagos, for instance, look like that scoan Church area of Lagos, photo below. ....clear that makoko, drag in some oil rigs and convert them to small communities for the people there...

I apologise if I've misread (didn't read )what's going on in Kano but I only need to hear the word Demolish associated with the word Nigeria and I'm automatically cheering. For me, too many of Nigeria state capitals look like the photo below viewed with the corner of the eyes or if you squint. Actually the pic could pass for an impressionists painting of many Nigeria towns. Just add buildings peeping out of the trash, cars along that dirt road, women in colorful wrapper babies tide behind, and, whala, a painting of Nigeria....

Sorry but too much of Nigeria resemble a gigantic land fill sight and must not be forced to remain so by a population with the mentality of tramps because they've been abandoned too long by governments that indulge thire shallow world outlook due to pressure from the West in the name of poor people rights. State governments need to bulldoze the hell out of the rubbish structures that infest Nigeria. We need to improve our environment which will enable our abilities. No point supporting a shanty town state in the name of opposing the government then cry online about the deplorable state of Nigeria and the need to Jappa to so-called saner environments of "Abroad". |
As soon as possible, the court sould sit conclusively and Kanu judged and, if found guilty, sentenced. The number of years he has spent in detention should be subtracted from the number of years sentenced. If Kano is a British citizen, Nigeria should negotiate with Briton about Kanu completing sentence in UK. As part of the nigotiating with Britain, Nigeria should insist that UK accept full responsibility for Kanu's sanctions including such as restraining him from inciting conflict in Nigeria under any pretext since Kanu will be given over to Britain and considered a UK not a Nigerian citizen. Further, that should Kanu be in future adjudged to incite conflict of any form in Nigeria, remotely or directly, Nigeria reserve the right to apprehend and execute him under the relevant Nigeria laws when apprehended etc. What we cannot and must not set a precedence for in Nigeria is dispensations for certain elements in Nigeria due to thire ethnic, religious, wealth etc group base support. No one should be above the law in Nigeria and pointing out examples when this has been the historic case is no argument since our aim is progress and development. |

Evestar200:There's no such thing as permanent fresh breath. In other words , no such thing as cure for permanent bad breath. Everyone must brush or clean teeth daily until the day they die. My advice - beyond the usual ones you've probably received such as visiting the dentist, brushing regularly and daily, tooth brush types, tooth paste type, mouth wash types , diet and so on - would be to inform you that Stress causes bad breath regardless of your mouth hygiene. Something else that causes bad breath in spite of your good mouth hygiene is Fasting. Botched Abortion too. Apart from it all just use diluted hydrogen peroxide. Diluted hydrogen peroxide freshens your breath full stop, guaranteed! |
Nigerian workers have ranked second in the world after Mexico in the global most hardworking workers with an average of 2,124 hours per worker annually. In a report published by the World of Statistics on Tuesday, Nigeria automatically emerged as the most hardworking country in Africa. Mexican workers who topped the chart were only four hours higher than Nigerians annually with 2,128, according to the latest report by the World of Statistics. In Nigeria, the official hours of work for most public and private workers are eight hours which could be 8 to 4 or 9 to 5 from Monday to Friday. Meanwhile, some organisations like media houses, hospitals, security agencies and manufacturing industries require more days and hours of their workers, as Saturdays or Sundays could be a shift arrangement. In an informal setting, workers like market women and other traders work up to ten hours per day. While the report was silent on the type of work undertaken, it appeared that the countries in the top five were not tech-oriented. Three countries from Central and South America followed Nigeria as Costa Rica placed third with 2,073 hours, followed by Colombia (1,964) in fourth position and Chile fifth with 1,916. High-tech South Korea is a surprise entry at number six with their workers putting in an average of 1,910 hours yearly, and Malta, 1,882; Russia recorded 1,874 hours; Greece (1,872) and Romania registered 1,838. Workers in the world’s largest economy, the United States, put in an average of 1,791 hours to place them in the 13th spot while the world’s third-largest economy, Japan is a distant 30th with their workers putting in 1,607 hours annually. Germany, Europe’s dominant economy, is in 50th place with its employees working for an average of 1,349 hours annually. South African workers are the second on the Dark Continent with annual 1,513 hours placing them a distant 36th on the listing. With Nigerians working 2,124 hours annually, it means an average worker uses at least five hours to engage in productive activities as compared to South African counterparts that work for four hours. The World of Statistics— the successor to the highly successful International Year of Statistics (Statistics 2013) campaign celebrated in 2013—is a global network of nearly 2,360 organisations worldwide. It is committed to increasing public awareness of the power and impact of statistics on all aspects of society, nurturing statistics as a profession, especially among young people as well as promoting creativity and development in the sciences of probability and statistics. OkpaNsukkaisBae:Yevgeny Prigozhin wouldn't make this move without Russia military support. The danger for him is that the same military top brass leaking messages that may have encouraged Yevgeny Prigozhin to act may again switch depending on circumstances. During world war 2, top military men involved in the plot to assassinate Hitler, switched when plans began to falter and only those acutely associated with the plot were in the end captured. In fact, some of those loosely involved with the planning of the coup against Hitler ended up on the panel that condemned to death those more acutely associated. |
Every means of identifying Nigerians is good. Arguably the greatest policy, act, thing, implementation, a presiding government can do for Nigeria is know Nigerians and place Nigerians as Nigerians, record them, identity them: names, place of birth, deaths, day of birth, who is who, where, age, ethnicity, gender, faith, politics, address etc. Population size... Anonymity is destroying Nigeria quicker than poverty, infant mortality, unemployment or all the other underdevelopment indices. Nigeria can't afford the first world preoccupation with personal privacy, which in any case they, first world nations, don't observe. They know who you are, including harvesting your DNA opportunistically. |
Good. |
Cooly100:Or Ivory Coast, some of the people claiming Yoruba and shouting the loudest about Igbo, come from there. |
Is Lagos a foreign country? What sort of system enables America to tax her citizens living in other countries? |
My god. Well, it's a pity there no way a rapper could rhyme mighty big balls with Yevgeny Prigozhin. |
decatalyst:Not Nigeriains though, Nigerians largely are very supportive, encouraging and helpful to others. Envy is not a natural Nigerian attitude. Nigeriains tend to worship the wealthy, the important , the titled of society and want to emulate not drag down. In this regard, Nigerians seem different from what I've noticed of other Africans and blacks. |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bvJC_vCLyyc Funny, I've asked severally on Niraland where, I'm sure government officials occasionally visit, what's being put in place to mitigate or limit at least the coming floods after the disasters of last year. Running a Nation is a permanent not occasional job. |
blowjohn:If story is true, I assume he's Marketing Ghana. Hypocrisy doesn't much affect the type of marketing those people employ in hyping Ghana. It is enough, for instance, to impress upon the subconscious of the international community, unconstrained by the facts of Africa, that Ghana is developed by him simply advising Tinubu to create a Beveridgesque welfare state for Nigeria. |
The solution is known. Plant trees and police tree felling. Incidentally, people need to stop pushing the false notion that Nigeria is overpopulated. Facts are Nigeria is relatively underpopulated. |
Instead of making a habit of complaining like the rest of Africa and blacks generally do to all things Bullshit West, let’s replace our recent Bystander attitudes with our former proactive ones. For instance, nothing prevents us creating our own World Lists in which we place ourselves top of the hill, the rest of Africa and blacks below us and whites and Asians at the bottom. These world lists aren't ordained by god, they're man made with all the biases and prejudices implicit. They don't even seem methodically arrived at and wouldn't defeat the proposition that they are whimsical not statistical, empirical or scientific in any regard. I watched a Nigerian Youtuber the other day expressing astonishment and light-hearted bewilderment at one of these World Lists - this one declared Ecuadorians - a majority mongoloid people - as possessing on average the largest manhood of all Nationals on earth. |
Rebuke:You won't hear many since once is all it takes. Unlike Nigeria, they are not forgiving or relenting on law breakers abroad. After the severity of the action taking against the relevant law breaking illegal structure erector that first time, he, she, or they, dare not return to repeat the offence. |
