I often make these remarks on identity. I attended a famous Nigeria government college. Our Collage used to win majority of the All Nigeria schools and colleges athletics meet by cheating (well, sort of) turned out my collage wasn't the sole one engaged in the following practice: the collage used to scour the West Africa subregion for exceptional sports talents then they would enroll them at our college with relatively special privileges. These people would then be passed off as Nigerians (not scholarship) and pressed into representing us in sports events. We once had this huge fellow Brought in from Cameroon that represented us in the Javelin event. This dude was in his thirties probably but used to complete for us as a sixteen year old.
