So that group of ungrateful leaders of treacherous West Africa nations have elected mister president chairman, they probably want subsidy forgiveness ![]() |
Africans are too ignorant about the world. They have no understanding how these things work. I could write an entire book on the subject of why Nigerians are picked on and crime by Nigerian has absolutely nothing to do with it since Nigerians aren't criminals abroad anyway. Do you know that since South Africa began the culture of targeting Nigerians other Nations that have racists issues with black people generally, but could never express it acceptably, latched on to what south Africa began. And then African nations that had issues of inadequacy also exploited what south Africa began . Seychelles is a top tourism destination. If they begin to have issues with local crime caused by say unemployment among thire youths, this would damage tourism. In order to alay the fears of Tourists, they have to be seen to be tackling crime. However tourists are unlikely to trust that Seychelles will meaningfully tackle homegrown criminals. If your people are tagged as criminal minded, tourist are unlikely to trust your nation, especially if a relatively small country. But if the criminals are said to be foreigners then there is hope since foreigners can be deported or prevented from entering the country. This type of narrative will be more encouraging to tourists. So what better people to blame than Nigerians that all now blame thanks to the bandwagon began by South Africa. Targeting Nigerians will also create a larger publicity. Therefore , suddenly,Seychelles crime problems are really caused by Nigerians. Look, we are doing something, we are restricting the Nigerians! Nigerians can't argue because Seychelles and her defenders can say, after all it's true, look, South Africa, Dubai, India, Angola and the world says Nigeriains are criminals.... |
FalseProphet1:Looks like you misunderstood or didn't read the article. |
hasyak:Weak, yellow belly full of Inferiority complex, worrying about being hated. Why not try hating them back? |
And why are Nigeriains the problem in any country arguably India or economically owned by Indians. Indians own India, South Africa, Tanzania, Mauritius and no doubt Seychelles. Seychelles sounds like just the sort of place Indians would own economically. Seychelles a places who's economy is founded on serving the pleasures of white tourists. |
Leo81:Foreign nations may like the idea of killing any Nigerian caught with drugs but not the idea of killing "anyone" caught with drugs because they'd end up killing majority of thire own nationals. And majority foreigners killed would not be Nigeriains. |
Touchypro:Please tell them again. |
"Nigerians" need to stop excusing biased prejudice against Nigeria citizens abroad. When ever some shithole nation prejudices Nigerians, some of you begin justifying thire actions informed by unverifiable claims of criminality by Nigerians. There are many better reasons I can give you for why these nations target Nigerians but my better reasons, the reasons you give and the reasons given by those nations are baseless unless investigated or researched. Justifications are a dozen a kobo. The Nigeria state need to begin retaliating against nations that prejudice Nigerians full stop, no excuses. Anyway, listening to some of the things attributed to Tinabu , I'm beginning to be hopeful that we at last have a president who will be vindictive on behalf of Nigerians and not presidentially aloof. It looks like he is the type that will meet your on noble terms if you are noble or gutter level if you want to go there. |
Without excusing Mmesoma's attempted cheating, I feel that the section of Nigerians on social media hell bent on demonising Nigeria due to thire own political needs, exploited her. They wanted to use her to point accusing fingers at Nigeria and no doubt inform the rest of us on how so much better the Afghanistan education system is by comparison. Unfortunately for them JAMB fought back armed with evidence. Now finding themselves undoubtedly wrong, they have abandoned Mmesoma to public wrath. Mmesoma is still a teen and I hope Nigeria reconsider the penalties placed on her. I've heard something like 3 years ban. I've not looked too closely at this case and don't know what they are banning her in but 3 years ban in anything is too long for a child that has not killed our griveuosly assaulted anyone. She needs reprimanding not damaging. She is all our daughter. The damage wroth on her by being in the public eye, dammed and castigated, shouldn't be underestimated. Counselling mightn't be a bad idea. |
Billionaire2:How Lions and Tigers and Emperors can bow to Kanu is beyond me. ![]() |
They'll soon excuse him by blaming poverty when I'm over here in the UK struggling to keep my car. BUT, I guess, poverty is relative. In a future world where people own galaxies and fleets of space ships, the man who owns a solar system will cry poverty and want to overthrow the empire... |
These are the broken era times between the kinder more community based traditional cultural living of primordial Nigeria societies and the selfish, atomised, societal ways of modernity inherited from the West. We are not precisely at the cross roads since we are passed the threshold into modernity. Our super structure is lagging and needs to catch up.RIP |
I saw a video documentary once, perhaps two or three years ago, that has remained on my mind. It was about some retirement home for veterans of the Biafra war. Perhaps some of you watched that video. I vaguely recall that the woman who shot the video left a highroad she had been driving along and drove up a dirt road to the place these veterans were housed. The place was falling apart, the veteran's were getting on in years but seemed, for all intent and purpose, abandoned by the state, country and the people. I recall or imagined that part of the documentary or vlog covered issues of none payment of pensions promised these veteran's by the Nation as part of the war settlement. Some of the veterans complained that they had been abandoned although one or two good souls in the community came to cook for them and so on. I'm just wondering if those funding the industry around the enforcers of these sit at home, which is in the name of honouring the Biafra fallen and so on ever bothered to financially ensure the security and well being of such veterans ? |
Forcing people to sit at home, which is what the IPOB hierarchy are doing by policing the community with gunmen, is essentially visiting Terrorism upon the people . You cant arguably defend the position - not successfully anyway - by drawing on UN's charter on a peoples right to self determination. Organized resistance movements may be deemed legal and protected by international law but not Organized resistance movements by any means necessary. |
Orwell's critic of communism expressed in Animal farm's "some are more equal than others" . Here, the gunmen contradict the edict that all must sit-at-home ![]() |
Without the check that technology enabled JAMB, this would have gone down in history as another instance of Nigeria's corruption. However, technology provided the Institution with valuable Evidence in this case. The entire thing for me is a little illustration of why I am never tired of defending Nigeria and Nigerians against the charge that Nigerians are especially corrupt. My argument has always been that all humans and all human societies of a certain level of development and beyond exhibit corruption that is only mitigated by the standard of society's checks and balances ( social control mechanisms). Nigeria's problem is that Nigeria the state has refused - or been too slow- to evolve beyond relying on the morality and values imbibed in us by our primordial ethnic cultures, consequently Nigerians baser utilitarian impulses are running riot unencumbered by absent or underdeveloped modern social control mechanisms (especially the technological ones ). In short, the average Nigerian is more naturally honest than the average American, British or French since Nigeria is nearer the primordial societal stage than America, Britain or France. However you wouldn't know this since America, Britain and France, (relatively ) have more sophisticated means of checking deviancy in their societies than Nigeria has. The fear and certainty of being caught by thire society's more sophisticated social control mechanisms, pacifies the baser utilitarian impulses of the average America, Brit or French and make them seem more honest on average than Nigerians. Nigeria's social control mechanisms, especially the formal and technological ones, are decades behind the capacities of Nigerians... |
Out the bag of deplorable foreigners the Chinese, Japanese and Americans are the best for Nigeria.... |
India and Indians the country and people groomed by the British to exploit and supress Africa and black people after they, British, have fed fat on us. If I was to draw a cartoon representation, it would portray the British as a giant bloated leech, wiping blood from its lips, standing over a dry, dying human called Africa. This giant British slug would have a psydopodia over the shoulder of a smaller leech called India and above them would be a speech bubble , from British slug, with the words, "now your turn". |
Take a look at every significant period of the America Epoch, from the civil war to abolition of slavery, from the great depression, to civil rights movement, from the creation of youth industry in the sixties, to fashion, from music to the Apollo missions to Vietnam and Korea wars, you will see the huge part played by Black Americans. You won't see Asians but now America is just trampling over black Americans and making out as though Asians are thire great white hope ![]() I know, I know it seems I'm off topic but I'm not. I simply respond from the future perspective that everyone will eventually arrive at. |
RECTEM:They would wipe out those student loans in a flash if only white and Asian students alone would benefit from it. I expect there's a perception among the general and majority white anti-woke population of America that the Democrats were angling to benefit lower strater of society predominantly occupied by black Americans. The Republican leaning US judiciary is out to revoke any African American or left leaning social policies ever instituted by the Democrats. |
