horchukoh:Indeed, seems that way, informed by public and private media output from the different Nigeria states published online. Delta just looks bad however you cut it. Very sad and depressing. |
InoGetJoy:What are your favourite Obi plans for Nigeria? And, of all his policies, what ones do you believe will most positively impact you and your family? |

part 2 The System derives money from appeals process, which is why a guilty verdict may arise from evident cases of innocence. Capitalist societies are necessarily corrupt versus unnecessarily corrupt, setting aside relativisms and subjectivity. A little like how many systems, ideas and functions ultimately will no work without accepting contradictions. |
UK will derive as much financial benefit from this case as possible. Nigerians believe in the UK judicial system in context of honesty, impartiality and upholding the utmost standards imaginable. However Nigerians are naive. UK judiciary can be grotty and sinister. As in much to do with the West, the British judicial system is not that idealistic country African masses all but substitute with heaven. If I'm to be kind, I'll excuse extant corruption as acts within institutions that may necessarily conform to the practicalities or limits of the liberal democratic dispensation. Part 1 |
Totilopussylick:What of community action ? Individuals in community forming care/support groups could do much to ensure such schools are at least endurable for students and this without precluding need to pressure government. |
Prime black womanhood on display Guys, if you’re not going to marry a Nigerian, why not go for some of these Caribbean, African Americans etc instead of infesting Nigeria with women from a certain West Africa nation with their ugly faces, jealous and mean-spirited mindset |
Funny how Niaralanders that are always quick to claim all Nigerians are lying about thire age, how Nigeria always field overage players, etc, now suddenly believe that this boy is not lying about his age, that he is under age. |
Nwodosis:You're subconsciously superimposing human sacrifice fears with organ donation. Actually, informed by Nairalanders initial responses when this news first broke (some of this still persists) I believe many thought of this case in terms of David, that this was a case of Muti or black magic. They haboured the preposterous notion that the Minister - exploiting his powerful office - had a boy snatched from the streets of Nigeria with intention of sacrificing him in some gory ritual in London. I suspect you were of this mindset too. To many Nairalanders, this was like the literal manifestations of their lazy thought out views of the African politician/elites - a narrative imagined for you by Western stereotyping - feeding fat on their downtrodden Africa masses. However as a fuller picture of events immerge, contrary to these expectations, some of you are striving to save that narrative and in the process loosing your humanity. |
Whoever this Nigerian is, he probably was taking a distant relation to the UK whose parents had agreed that he could donate a kidney with financial compensation in the deal. If this was the case, this Nigerian man would have had long consultation with doctors and advisers since the best kidney donors are those related to the patient. Kidney, liver or any such operation isn't a frivolous, ill considered undertaking. You cant simply kidnap some vulnerable person from the streets of Nigeria in the hope of harvesting organs. The error here could be to do with the age of the potential kidney donor. The UK courts possibly deemed the donor not responsible for his or her decision due to UK age of consent laws and consequently chose to view arrangements the so called minister entered into with people in Nigeria as involving cohesion. The rest would be racist media twisting and wringing the worst possible perspective from what they could just as easily portray in context of poorly considered, heartfelt and sad events. |
Nozino:Indeed. Another thing wrong with the Blackman is their eagerness to believe whatever negative news the white press states against other black people, especially other black people the black person deems more progressive than them. The black man is a facilitator of racism for his own questionable benefit. At times like these, the black man is keen for the news to be true and thus is reluctant to question or await further developments. |

EMXTAN1:Nigerians are actually very fussy about what you can and cannot eat. Nigeria has culture of forbidden foods. Social media does not accurately inform on Nigeria or else immigration into Nigeria, specifically from Republic of Benin where they eat a lot of odd things due to Voodom, accounts for much of these horrors passed off as foods blamed on Nigerians. |
GeneralDitari:Using ethnic nationality threat as a bargaining chip to leverage more power at the national level is just transparent not realistic unless you’re old with olden days village mentality. |
The guy in the pic looks unenlightened. How do we in Nigeria prevent the proliferation of the unenlightened? |
Nigeria require technologists in all fields in order to compete in the rapidly approaching world of advanced industries. We need battery technology innovators, EV-cars manufacturers, researchers' in the filed of exotic materials, Artificial Intelligence researchers, people working in rocketry so that the black world dose not again miss out on wealth that is abundant in space; Nigeria requires Space industries, Robotics engineers, people working in the Biology industries looking at genetics, medicines, preparing for immerging viruses; we require marine scientists, people working in the quantum computing sector; people working in the super conduction fields, people working on virtual reality fields, block chain tech, Software engineers; renewable energy sector, two wheel mobility, urban development - the list is endless but I guess, wars, diseases , japparing, causing or engaging in ethnic strife and then begging the west to come help us when these conflicts refuse to end, causing famine and starvation are the sum of our abilities and ambitions ... ethnic strife, raping, lynching, selling body parts, cussing online all easier for the Indome brain addled types ... |
ZUBY77:You're arrogant, ignorant, proud , disrespectful of Ukrainian dead and daft. |
