I am not in a good situation at the moment. I am in love with a guy who has a girlfriend.Before you judge me here is my story.I am a lady in my late 20s, pretty, funny, lovable and a good christian but the major problem I have been facing since I knew about dating is the kind of guys I get attracted,they are usually cool but unserious,have commitment issues, are emotionally unavailable and just want to sleep with me.I am very emotional and I tend to show my feelings towards a guy so soon.Secondly I have never had a relationship that lasted more than six months.

There was this connection I had with him and we could talk about anything at anytime.snooped on his social media accounts and I didnt see any signs of a lady or girlfriend so I felt the coast was clear.Only for me to ask him one day and he says he is in a relationship,even showed me her photo.I had already started having feelings for him, it was hard to turn back.We were so attracted to each other and it was to hard to resist him even though I knew he just wanted sex from me.Dude travels out and isnt communicating like before, even though he told me his gf is in nigeria but I wasn't convinced.

Our major fallout was when on my birthday I didnt get message fro him until a day later, I decided to send a nasty message to him saying he was just after my body and all.Dude gets angry, I started apologising almost immediately, this happed in October.he just reads my messages doesnt reply doesnt pick my calls.Since the incident happend, I havent been myself, I have never begged or apologised to any one like this in my life, I have cried almost everyday for the past two months, I cant concentrate at work.He recently came back but didn't tell me but I found out on my own.Went to his house a few days ago unannounced just to apologize, He got more angry in the process saying he warned not to come without telling him.He said he has forgiven me and also apologized for leading on but ended up saying he has issues with people that dont trust him.The worst part is he knows I love him so he is doing this to hurt me more.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday launched the 260-kilometre Calabar-Kastina-Ala Super Highway road project at Obung, Cross River.

The President expressed the hope that the road would create a new vista of business opportunities for Cross River and the nation at large while launching the project.

Buhari commended Governor Ben Ayade for his vision and foresight in conceptualising the project.

“So, I must at this juncture commend the state governor, Sen. Ben Ayade and his team for their foresight in conceptualising this project.

“Given the multiplier effect these two laudable projects are expected to generate, in terms of aggregate spinoffs, I want to assure you of my determination and as well as the commitment of the Federal Government to ensuring that this road and indeed the seaport runs to a quick completion.

“Let me commend our young Governor, Professor Ben Ayade who globe-trotted to get these core foreign investors to invest in these huge projects.”

According to the president, the road which will link south-south and northern parts of the country, when completed, will also ensure a reduction in travel time and man-hour.

He said that the project was a significant milestone in the economic transformation agenda of the state.

Buhari, who was forced to abandon his official Chopper and embarked on road journey to the venue of the event due to heavy rain, pledged to be back in due course for the inauguration of the project.

“I feel the warmth of your embrace and the passion in your gaze.

“The future of Cross River State is certain.

“I am one with you on this. I promise to come back to commission (inaugurate) this road upon completion and that is very soon too.’’

In his remarks, Ayade said apart from the road project, the state would also be constructing a deep sea port in Bakassi.

According to him, the two projects will be executed through the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) .

He said the idea behind the projects rooted back to when the state lost its oil wells to Akwa Ibom upon the loss of Bakassi.

“The theological kinetics of this road started with the loss of our oil wells consequent upon the loss of Bakassi, therefore the state was reduced to wants in body and spirit.

“It became imperative that we reconstruct a new means of production; we need to open the horizon to get teeming young people employed.

“It is against such background as I sought to leave this state it became very clear and evident that we must construct new means of production.

“Within the limit of our resources, the projects would have been impossible but because we know that you are the President of all, we know that once we dream, it is his duty to make the dream a reality that is why we dreamt that we need to construct a deep seaport.

“As soon as I sent a letter to you on the Bakassi seaport, it took less than one day in your office and it was minuted out.”

On the 260km super highway, Ayade stated that it would serve as an evacuation corridor from the seaport.

“It will have a track of 14metres and a key wall of 680 metres that will allow for vessels from outside and every other vessel to berth.

“It will, therefore, provide an evacuation corridor for vessels, material and equipment lying in Calabar uniformly, effortlessly to Northern Nigeria.”

According to the governor, the existing federal road will require up to five to six hours to get to Benue State from Calabar but with the construction of this super highway, only one hour, 30 minutes will be spent.

“What is special about this super highway? It is that we have internet connectivity all through the highway, a photographic solar system with a satellite antenna.

“Mr president, it is also going to be the first to have anti-sleep bumps on the highway.

“It is also going to be the first to have speed cameras. It is also going to be the first to have ambulatory services.

“Mr President, this road is a digital road, designed for the 21st century.’’

The governor expressed optimism that the road would be completed in the next four to five years.

“We envisioned that this road will be done in the next four to five years.

“We also have people who have collaborated and partnered with us.

“ They include an Israeli-British firm, the broad spectrum that had provided 500 million euros.

“We also have Heritage, Skye and Zenith banks.

“We know that with the support Mr. President has given to us, the project will be a reality.’’

Still on my way to Benin as i write this... few hours ago i got to GIG park , as early as 6:30am cos i have a business meeting at 10am.... my first observation was dat even d overated gig motors aint wah it really is...it took dem 1 hr to load the bus..only for the bus to get stuck in d mud cos d driver wudnt b smart enuf to watch how others navigated d road....d most painful thing was dat it was just a few meters away frm the park at EKPOMA. We called customer service line they said anoda bus will b comin frm Auchi to pick us up. Waited for over 1hr no bus showed up...had to go to d manager at Ekpoma park, they said they cudnt provide a bus for us ....all my many english fell on unconcerned ears. It was already 10am. N i havent even gotten to benin . ....DAY MESSED UP!...Had to go to BIG JOE.... it took big joe..just 10mins to fix passengers in d bus n bus juat kicked off....

What does a secular church look like?

Would it be easy to find one?

If we find something in the church that is contrary to Scripture but is taught in the secular world, then that church has become--in part--secularized. The more we find from the world in the church, the more that church is secularized.

Following is a list of things that, in my opinion, are examples of secularization in the church. Of course, this list is not exhaustive nor is it authoritative. It is my opinion. Nevertheless, it is offered as food for thought.

1. Teaching that the Bible is not inspired and inerrant.

The Bible is the Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16) and is the measure of truth and righteousness. To claim that it is not inspired is to reduce it to the level of the Quran, or the Bhagavad-Gita, or the Book of Mormon which are mere man-made writings posing as inspired words from God.

When the authority of God's Word is lost, then man-made doctrines creep in. The authority and inspiration of Scripture is the anchor that keeps the church from drifting into error.

2. Using books instead of the Bible in Bible study.

It is okay to use books that assist in Bible study, but the Bible should be the central source of spiritual truth, not books about the Bible. If Bible studies are using guidebooks more than the Bible itself, then the Bible has been moved to a secondary position. If Christians are having trouble understanding God's Word, then the pastor (or Bible study leader) needs to teach them how to find its truths, so they can check all things in Scripture by themselves (Acts 17:11).

3. Teaching that there is more than one way to God besides Jesus.

In this world of relativism, it is not popular to claim that Jesus is the only way to be saved. But this is what the Bible says. John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me." Also, Acts 4:12, "And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved." There is no other way to be saved. The Muslims, the Buddhists, the Taoists, etc., cannot be saved without Jesus.

4. Being embarrassed to say that Jesus is the only way to salvation.

Like the issue above, Jesus is the only way (John 14:6). Christians should never be ashamed (Rom. 1:16) to speak the truth of God's saving work in Christ. For some, to be timid and embarrassed means that one's eyes are off of God and on people.

5. Teaching that there is no absolute right and wrong.

As mentioned above, moral relativism is the norm of society. We often hear, "It is true if it is true for you." The Bible tells us that there are moral absolutes independent of what we think is right. Exodus 20:1-17 is a list of the ten commandments which are moral absolutes. The Bible teaches us there is absolute right and wrong. Without moral absolutes, no one can say anything is right or wrong.

6. Being careful to not offend anyone at the expense of Biblical truth.

Whether or not someone likes what the Bible says does not change the truth of the Bible. We should not be offensive just to be offensive, but we should not be afraid to speak the truth of God when the need arises. The gospel that offends no one is not the gospel of the Bible.

Is your church becoming secular? Are you? If either, start praying, repent of anything you believe or do that is contrary to Scripture. Start praying for your church and study God's Word. Let it be your guide.

I was recently employed in a farm as an assistant manager. I studied animal production and health. The manager studied political science. Since the resumption at the farm, I direct all activities ranging from feed formulation in the feedmill, animal treatments and handling, biosecurity measure, arable farming etc. The management hold meetings with me alone concerning farm reports, feed managements, sales and anything that concerns the farm's progress. They specifically hired me 'cause animal farming is my field. Note that I'm an expert in animal production and health, agronomy, and agricultural economics. So, I see myself as the manager, cause the only thing the manager does is withdrawing money in the banks to procure farm inputs as a result of decisions reached by me and the management. The manager is using official car, but I'm using nothing. I have no problem with him using the car, but I see it as an insult on my person. Should I protest?
