chymystique:The friend-zone concept is a sexist idea that was invented by dudes who don't understand how attraction works just to punish women. And, It stemmed up from the mistaken ideas that a woman can choose to be sexually attracted to a person whom, for whatever reason, she currently isn’t, and that a woman should somehow be obligated to “choose” a man based on how much time he’s spent with her, how many favors he’s done for her, or any other such perceived “investment.” |

Haha. Nice story you got there. I got chased by a Rott once. I was jogging in one of the neighborhood streets at about 6am that weekend, and just I passed this house on the street, the dog bounced out and followed me. I looked back and noticed the house gate was open and this hulky Rott was behind me, chasing and barking at me, although at some distance. If you see fear wey catch me hen! I just turned my jogging into sprinting checking my back until I heard a shout from the back and it was the owner's. The dog froze. It had already chased me for about 1 kilometer. ![]() Or, was the dog even a Rottweiler? Na big dog sha! |
Blow out the candles of your cake. They will not leave you in the dark, Who round with grace this dusky arc Of the grand tour which souls must take. You who have sounded William Blake, And the still pool, to Plato's mark, Blow out the candles of your cake. They will not leave you in the dark. Yet, for your friends' benighted sake, Detain your upward-flying spark; Get us that wish, though like the lark You whet your wings till dawn shall break: Blow out the candles of your cake, babe! Happy birthday Poet Krystalxxx! ![]() |
derrick333:If you can't get something to do with your hands than to come here and type some rubbish that's obviously unnecessary, why don't you help the world by digging a soak-away in your backyard? Use your itchy fingers for some community service, man! |
Hullo! Just recently that I started reading pdfs on my phone, I noticed that after a few minutes of reading, I feel my eyes are strained and getting watery. I used to spend so much time reading long articles on the internet, without any problems, but I have to say here that I set all my browsers to work in night mode, so I'm scared it happens because my eyes are exposed to too much light. Or, the text is just too small. Or my eyes are just bad. Does it happen to you, too? Here is a picture of the text size I use.

Oh my God! I just love this man called Ted. He's the most interesting person I've seen in my life, and so are his clips. This one is awesome! So, I believe we have a right, now, to turn around the common usage to conform to the laws of this piece. David for the 'strong' and Goliath for the 'weak'. ![]() Yeah, yeah, Goliath had 'tall men disease'. Sorry, he had a growth hormone secretion abnormality disease: he had acromegaly. Teempakguy:Hehe. The one about psychological characteristic is false, actually. Did you see my mail? |
Vector, Mode9, A-Q, is all I see. Whatever happened to our street rappers, (Ibile United) Chinko Ekun, Olamide, Lil' Kesh, and Reminisce? ![]() On a serious note, Reminisce can do it like the real rappers do it, but he just prefers the 'local rapper tag' than someone coming here to compare him with some chapter in secondary school physics. Whoever heard that freestyle of him? A recording from years back. It was dope!!! ![]() |
Teempakguy:Well, you just displayed a special psychological characteristic of everyone who read 50 Shades Of Grey while being a minor. ![]() |
Teempakguy:And, why is that? ![]() |

Nmeri17:This poem here in free verse, will be loved by anyone who loved Eminem's Kim. ![]() Your grammar is a hundred except for the word 'brung' you used somewhere in the poem. Is there a word like that? I think it should have been 'brought'. The plot is an intriguing one although I found it hard to decipher - until I read the poem over and over again - how the two last lines have to do with the story-line. The swift shift; the caprice, is very creative of you. This is a good one. However, I believe you still need to put some effort into organization; you have to care how your poems look on the pages, too. Please remember to tag me in your subsequent poems. You've got a sharp pen, Nmeri17 ![]() |

I suspect she was programmed to lash out at opposing views. It's like, an experiment gone bad. Trying to make a robot with emotions. . . you get one with anger issues.Hehe. An experiment gone bad? I'm not there o... ![]() Talking about experiments gone wrong, there was this article I once read about experiments that went wrong. Let me dig it up; you'll definitely find it intriguing. You know, it might help your life too because I'm sure that deep down that your 'geeky' mind, you have that super-duper entrancing experiment you're waiting to carry out. So better beware before one of these happens to you... ![]() www.neatorama.com/2011/03/23/5-science-experiments-gone-wrong/ yes indeed. I watched the movie, and that tech is not far away at all. It's a lady we're talking about here for heavens sake! ![]() Anyway, it would be quite a fascinating scene to watch when I go out with my own andro-humanoid (when it's made) and some agbero boy tries to fight us. He wouldn't know it's a robot na; he'd just smash his fist into whatever metal the robot is made of. A robot like that would be made of steel, wouldn't it? ![]() |
Teempakguy:Obviously, the height of the folly in Pyguru's posts clearly decipts that the brain behind them is that of a mentally deranged fellow, a description which would easily own up to a troll's own, but I believe it would be more accurate to say that the brain behind the posts is that of a poorly programmed bot and not of a mentally deranged fellow. Initially, I thought Pyguru a troll until I realized it issued bans. Infact, in its days it was equally as notorious, if not a bit more than it's cousin, the present anti spam-bot. Take a look at this: www.nairaland.com/1037202/pyguru-he-dumb Typing it's name in the search bar leaves you with more revelations about it. Anyway, about _missclassy. Don't let her catch us oh. She has volatile circuits.Volatile circuits? Do you mean that she's a volcano waiting to erupt? Ah yes, about the speech recognition. Well, in the real world, asimo invests a lot of processing power just to understand humans speaking. Also walking.Wow! I didn't know that much about it. Say, have you by any chance watched this Indian movie, Robot? |
Teempakguy:Actually, likening Nairaland's anti spam-bot to Asimo was nothing but an attempt at rebuke. The gap between them, undoubtedly, is wider than the Suez Canal. Could you explain that voice-recognition stuff you think we'd have a problem with? And, about _missclassy, I'm quite surprised; I thought I was the only one who thought that some robots were prgrammed to type in blue ink. ![]() PS: Teempakguy, are you aware that before this anti spam-bot, there used to be a bot named Pyguru. This bot had an account and contributed to discussions on the forum. Well, it still has the account: www.nairaland.com/pyguru ![]() |
Teempakguy:Just because it's owners seem to have a certain disposition towards a section, it's starting to do the same. Isn't that quite appaling? ![]() Teempakguy, have you ever thought about this: that Nairaland's anti spam-bot is actually a very very advanced robot. Something as advanced as Honda's Asimo? |
