does this dude actually realize JSF display (view) are simply JSPs? so how can u separate JSPs from JSF? JSF is built on JSP technology! they are not competing technologies. ppl all over the place talking about what they don't really know much about. be sure about what u know b4 u come here 2 post.

why would it be a long time before we see a 3G? i got my first iphone last year 3 weeks after it was launched (that's sometime in july), that's even before anybody was sure it was hackable because i knew every and any system can be compromised. i held on to it for another 3 months before the s/w unlock was released, during the period i simply used it as an iPod (it was jailbroken).

with the 3G it gets even easier. the last time u said something about hackers not being sure they can unlock/jailbreak the 3G, but how is the 3G architecture different from the 2.5G given that the 1.2.0 firmware (meant for the 3G) is installable on the 2.5G? where i am going with this is simple: pwnage already provides a means of jailbreaking and unlocking every and any iphone including future releases as long as the architecture remains the same.

download Audacity. Read the instructions on how to use it. With it you can select any portion of a song (in MP3 format for example), and save as AAC or M4A format.

i have actually sent MMS from my iphone and on the MTN network and the target recipient received it. I have never received an MMS though.

if u haven't tried pwnage or the windows version (winpwn) please do. what i have just done is created my own custom ipsw file (iphone firmware) with pre-installed 3rd party apps and unlocked. meaning i can simply pick up any iphone and install this firmware and it will already have the 50 3rd party apps pre-installed.

well, yes u don't make MS kind of money, but do u really have 2 be modeled after MS? open-source is charity-oriented. programmers should lean more towards improving the lot of everybody rather than being the next billionaire.

most of the money made in the open-source paradigm comes from support.

well, how different are they when c++ is a superset of c (meaning c became a subset of c++)? same cannot be said of c/c++ and java for instance as they are quite different.

i was simply pointing out that the suffix "++" which happens to be the "increment" operator in the C language is there to show that C++ is an "increment" (advance 1 level) to C.

if these glo customers r willing 2 pay i will invest time in figuring it out. till then. . .

u don't seem interested in the AppSupport issue - update to the country code plist. i wouldn't mind if u test it out & give me feedback since i'm no longer sure it worked simply cos i added the nigerian template. i do know my format for nigerian phone numbers works tho (it even properly formats land phones).

yeah i added the nigerian format 2 the AppSupport template (ask naijafan for details) when it didn't seem to work. but what i later found was, it seems 1.3b9 version found under the iClarified category is the one that works on 1.1.4 & seems 2 already have support for nigeria (because i found i didn't need the nigerian format i had earlier added and it worked). the version 1.2 found under Tweaks 1.1.4 category doesn't work. but u can help check out the template and see if it works. with the work-around for glo, of course u are aware that several config file paths were altered in the upgrade from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2. that may be the key.

i won't bother selling my 2.5g tho when the 3g comes out. of course i will get the 3g. they can only make it harder 2 jb/unlock, but they cannot make it impossible 2 (come on, with pwnage how can apple possibly stop hackers now?).

with glo gprs/edge, how were u solving it on older firmware cos i may have an idea?

my guy, with all due respect the fact that you are here asking for help means you already have access to a pool of information (google.com and apple.com for example). to update your iphone is as simple as a single button click!

, of course tomcat simply serves as a servlet container for AWS. it will not be very wise to use tomcat as the main web server for high-volume websites/webapps.
