It is not the military's role to govern.
They should concentrate in what they are best at.
Look at Egypt.
PoliticsRe: Fuel Subsidy Removal: President Goodluck Jonathan's Speech by LogicMind: 1:43am On Jan 08, 2012
I am now starting to like the president.
Stop complaining: Good medicine is always bitter.

Those in favour of subsidy, have you asked yourselves where the subsidy money come from?
Other countries without subsidies are doing better than us.
I wish he should start taxing fuel and petroleum products to generate more revenue. Maybe then Nigerians will start appreciating the value of money instead of all the waste that is going on right now.
PoliticsRe: Why Do Nigerians In Diaspora Make The Loudest Voice On Nigeria Political Affair? by LogicMind: 12:58am On Jan 08, 2012
So dem deport you you steal visa or what? Me I no dey look for visa. I am a citizen of 3 countries (don't ask me how) including nigeria (forced upon us by Lord Luggard). As long as there are problems in Nigeria affecting my people, I must make noise. LOUD NOISE. I also do other things but that is by the way. Most Nigerians in diaspora contribute more to Nigerian economy than those in Nigeria.
We do not owe you an excuse.
We do not owe you an apology.
We do not require permission from you before we speak.
Being in diaspora does not make us any more or less Nigerian than you. It is even more in our interest that there is a good and stable political Nigeria. That is why we shout.

But let me ask you a question: Who are you and what are you? What have you done or achieved in your life to have the audacity to sow a seed of division between Nigerians in diaspora and those at home?

Take your bitterness to whoever it is that caused it. Leave us alone.

There are two Igbo words for 'speech' that I know of, okwu and asusu. Which can be better translated for 'dialect'?
okwu = word/speech (also advice/sayings) the verb form (ikwu okwu) means "to say".
asusu = language
onu = dialect/language

Believers in The God don't live in dysfunctional countries with "subsidy palaver" .Maybe if more of you believe in The God, politicians won't be in cahoots with MOGs/Imams to plunder the nation's coffers while you people praise the lesser gods.
Amen to that.

And she who guarded her chastity [Virgin maryam (mary)]: We breathed into (the sleeves of) her (shirt or garment) [through Our Ruh - Jibril (Gabriel)], and We made her and her son ['Îsa (Jesus)] a sign for Al-'Alamin (the mankind and jinn).
(  سورة الأنبياء  , Al-Anbiya, Chapter #21, Verse #91)

And We made the son of maryam (mary) and his mother as a sign, and We gave them refuge on high ground, a place of rest, security and flowing streams.

And We breathed into (the sleeve of her shirt or her garment) through Our Ruh [i.e. Jibril (Gabriel) ], and she testified to the truth of the Words of her Lord [i.e. believed in the Words of Allah: "Be!" - and he was; that is 'Îsa (Jesus), son of maryam (mary) as a Messenger of Allah], and (also believed in) His Scriptures, and she was of the Qanitun (i.e. obedient to Allah) .

^Now, you're hallucinating, sorry o! Well, i'd like to have a copy of your book like you've got a copy of mine. Where can i buy/get one?
The Great Book is for Believers only.
Vacuum chapter 3451, sub-verses 96 & 97 tell us: "96 for the great book is revealed to those that believeth, 97 even the doubters will ask for it but verily I say unto you it is easier for a prostitute to become the queen of Mecca than for a non believer to grasp these meanings".

If you believe and obey the Master Martian (Hailings unto his name), you will surely see the book.

Did Mary take virginity test, how sure are you that she was really a virgin.
You never know she might have done a quick one with a shepherd behind the stable. I don't know but it's a possibility. Ladies her age are ususally very , you know wink. Or was she biologically defective?

PAGAN 9JA:
there are two kind of snake: venomous and non-venomous.

venomous are easier to handle, but their poison is fatal. in such case you must use a stick and try to put it in a bag or try to get your hand behind its head, just above the fangs, while using the stick to distract it.

the big snakes which you talk about are like pythons, etc. these are not poisonous and do not kill humans. however children must be careful. In my village, i have seen many rock python in the area. they generally go away and are slow. the only problem is that they are very heavy. sometimes, we even give it a baby goat. it is considered good to give offering to the animal. at the same time, the snake becomes lazy after eating the goat and falls as sleep. then all we have to do is to lift it and put it somwhere away srom the settlement in the bush. it will then not wake up for weeks.
Poor goat
Christianity EtcRe: Madalla Blast: Priest Says We Have Forgiven Boko Haram by LogicMind: 10:59am On Jan 05, 2012
Enigma:
1. How does it make sense that Jesus would say of those killing him:"Father, forgive them for they know not what they do"?

2. How does it make sense that Jesus would admonish Peter for cutting off the ear of one of those who came to "capture" Jesus; and also that Jesus would heal the chap by fixing his ear?

3. How does it make sense that Jesus says you should forgive "70x7" times?

4. How does it make sense that Jesus said you should bless those that curse you?

Ah, perhaps there is a way that is higher than man's "rational" ways!

One interesting thing is that those fond of criticising the "Bible God" can't make up their minds: they say the God of the Bible is wicked and barbaric by allowing for revenge etc in the OT.  Here we have somebody demonstrating that this same God of the Bible is a God of love who says revenge is not necessary or even desirable ---- yet our friends still can't handle it.

Further, a couple of posters have explained briefly the simple yet somewhat complex principle that Christians can indeed forgive the perpetrators of crime without preventing the law from taking its course --- e.g. through prosecution and/or conviction of the perpetrators.

Finally, I wonder if this statement about forgiving the perpetrators had been made by a Hare Krishna leader or leader of one of the Eastern religions, if the opponents of Christianity would not have regarded it as how those religions are "superior" to Christianity.

cool
This is exactly why the Igbos are in the sh.it they are today. Too much bible and less brain.

Leave the imported religion and use your head.

It is written in the 524th book of Saturnas Chapter 6582 verse 2223 line 66 column 589999 "Oh fortunate are those who follow the teaching of the anointed"

2524th book of Venusi Tunama Chapter 6992 verse 1133 line 589 column 666 Clarifies: "blessed is the anointed from the red sphere for that is the abode of the chosen one"
22nd testament of uranus teaches us, in the book of agathethus section 2589669 matrix 58794:89877, that "Mars is the red sphere".
The book of NASA, the earthus names the inhabitant of mars as "Martian".

-That Zik had supernatural Powers
