Business / Voguepay's New Pricing Will Encourage Smes To Adopt Online Payment In Nigeria. by lojik(m): 9:27am On Jan 17, 2017
When I started VoguePay.com in 2012, the vision has been to help small businesses send and receive payment online at the lowest fee possible. I am happy that my team at VoguePay just made the announcement of our price changes. It is the LOWEST TRANSACTION fees for any online payment processor in Nigeria.

This new price will encourage many SMEs to consider accepting payment online as it is now the best option for them.

* Local transaction charges is 1.5% per transaction.
* International transaction is 3.8% + 0.5USD
* Withdrawal fees is .99% + N99

Details of announcement is here: http://voguepayblog.com/press-release-voguepay-announces-price-reviews-reduces-transaction-fees/

If he bought it for 3k, He is definitely using a hacked copy of our script.
If he has a valid license (Not hacked one), then he can contact support and we will look into this.
If he is using a hacked script, he asked for it.

These issues have been asked on joomla forum and other places online. It may have to do with your joomla installation.

https://www.google.com.ng/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&es_th=1&ie=UTF-8#es_th=1&q=joomla%20no%20configuration%20file%20found%20and%20no%20installation%20code

One of the responses may help you out.

Dear femzystics,
* -2904 means SMS Sending Failed. If SMS sending works normally on your website, you may need to contact support to look at your setup.
* Subscribe sms alert was deliberately left out of SPC 4 and we made sure it was not listed as part of the features of SPC4 as advertised on the website. It was conflicting with some other components and since we did not have the control over what components our clients would install, it would bring too much issues.
* All admin settings are editable. The price model has a button to add and an icon to edit. If you want to edit, simply click on the pencil icon beside each row. The pencil icon represents editing as you can see in the tooltip that comes up when you move your mouse over it.
* SPC4 has a manual. Send an email to support to request for the manual.

Dear Youngzedd,
*If your tables are scattered, this must be your template issue. The tables are normal HTML tables and are not scattered normal templates.
*If you want to be able to export members up to 2000 at a go, you will have to export it page by page (1000 per page). However, we can not make high numbers default as most people use SPC on a shared servesr. Exporting members combine several sql tables and can max out your server power if not limited. For this reason, you can only export 1000 per page and export the next 1000 on the next page.
SPC 4 has search function for its pages on desktop and mobile, however, if your joomla template is not mobile responsive, your spc4 may not respond to mobile appriopriately.
*I am sorry it took me long to reply. I am not always on Nairaland. I come in once in a while and it is possible this thread is not on the first page when i come here. I was able to respond because i saw it on the first page.
*SPC3 consumes too much server resources. SPC 4 was built from scratch to be lean and faster. Very big SMS sites have issues with SPC3 because their servers were maxing out. We have clients that moved from shared to virtual to dedicated servers because of SPC 3. If your site is quite small, SPC3 can serve you. As we now have mega SMS sites in Nigeria, SPC 4 becomes inevitable.

Dear geniusng,
A component (com_imageshow) is causing jquery conflict on your site.
Its loading its own jQuery even though your joomla already loaded a jquery instance.
There may be more extensions causing jQuery conflict but this is the one i saw on your homepage by looking at your source code.

I have replied the mail you sent to me today.
While we can try to resolve your present jQuery conflict issue, installing another component that loads jQuery without checking may cause a conflict again.

The best advice is for you to install a plugin that resolves jQuery conflict issues. We try not to install third party Joomla extensions for clients because of licensing issues. If we try to resolve it for you, we would have to modify some of these conflicting extensions and may violate their license in the process. Even when we do this, once you update such component, the conflict returns.

I strongly suggest you install a plugin that resolves jQuery conflict issues or mail our support where you can be better advised.

Dear all, I apologise for the issues you've had so far and would try to address them here.

1. Regarding the lady (Head of SPC technical support), she's a trained programmer and one of the developers who built SPC 4. However, she will be re-assigned tomorrow based on the complaints received here. I am deeply sorry for her shortcomings.

2. For the original poster, since your issue is not mentioned here, i will not be able to address it yet. You will get a response from the office in the morning.

3. Dear hilaryiwens05, Regarding Jeema SMS, your message was to www.estoresms.com and not to SPC. They are separate companies and a response has just been sent to you (I searched for your unreplied ticket). I apologise for the delay and appriopriate measures will be taken to make sure this unnecessary delay does not repeat itself.

4. Dear Youngzedd, you have not pointed out any issue that is associated with the copy of SPC 4 you paid for. We have hundreds of websites running SPC 4 without a hitch. SPC 4 runs on joomla 2.5 and joomla 3. These versions are plagued with Jquery conflict amidst other issues when using multiple jquery dependent components (https://www.google.com.ng/search?q=joomla+jquery+conflict&oq=joomla+jquery+&aqs=chrome.1.69i57j0l5.5763j0j4&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=93&ie=UTF-8). This has caused most people to associate the issues with our product. SPC4 is perfectly stable and you can confirm it from websites using it. You may also test it on www.estoresms.com.
I dont know your identity so i cant comment on the email you sent to me.

5. Dear Jackieriel, Kindly downgrade your php to 5.4. SPC4 security encoding will not work with php 5.5.

6. Dear Gbemiwebdesig, your users being denied access to the SMS menu is not a bug. SPC4 is designed to have its own role based access.
Go to Admin Menu->Settings->Website and set "Default role for new members" to "Members".

7. Dear geniusng, Your character counting that is not working is due to a JQuery conflict on your joomla version. Multiple components are loading versions of JQuery and its causing a conflict. This cannot be resolved without taking a critical look at your site since it is not an SPC specific issue. You may send a mail to SPC support so that we can look into these issues.
Webmasters / Re: I Need Spc4 Component by lojik(m): 11:48pm On Mar 12, 2015
If op needs SPC 4, get it instantly on our site www.smsportalcreator.com.

We do not advice you to use a cracked version because aside from killing our business, we have several instances of SMS portals that have been hacked and credits exhausted. Investigation always reveal that they are using cracked or nulled versions that contain backdoors which give the hackers access to their account passwords on the providers site. In the end, what you loose by using a cracked version is more than what you save.

Since we are not planning to release a cracked version of our software any time soon, you are not likely to get it without having your SMS credits gradually stolen by the same people who cracked it. We also do not provide support or updates for cracked versions.

The easy way out of viruses and other windows based issue is to simply get a linux OS.
Ubuntu, lubuntu, ubuntu mate or kubuntu would be a good place to start.

I am very guilty of this too.
I cant say why but i have not even updated my personal website in months or perhaps years.
I have put it on my to-do list on several occasions it just never becomes top priority.

However, i don't joke with my company or product websites. Those ones are monitored regularly.

Webmasters / Re: How Can One Get Bulk SMS Unit Directly From The Source? by lojik(m): 1:05am On Oct 14, 2014
In order to buy from the sources, you will be given a minimum volume per time that you must consume, you would most likely need a different portal than the regular one bulk sms sites use (www.smsportalcreator.com) and you will need a lot of super resellers (Those who sell upwards of 5Million units monthly) to cover the monthly volume.

I have once tried to bring some Nigerian super resellers together to jointly buy directly (I know them because they use my software) but most of the super resellers don't have liquidity. They run on credit.

The edge you may leverage on is SMS Routing. Most SMS Portals do not super-size until the are able to route.
Once you can route your traffic, then you wont need to worry about buying from the source. You'll just buy from those who get it from the source. That means:
1. There will be just one person between you and the source.
2. You are not bound by time limit.
3. When one provider is messing up on one route(e.g MTN Route) you can switch only that route to another provider.
4. You get stable and reliable delivery because you can route through several providers simultaneously.

GraphicsPlus: I can only tell u that they will not cover those modules indepth. The course is an introduction. They ar using niit style.
I understand your pessimism but we are not in it just for the money.

1. Our pioneering students were all trained on 100% scholarship between December and February 2013 but we did not publicize it as ITP hence we called the present students Batch "A". If it were all about money alone, we would not train a whole class FREE OF CHARGE.

2. Some of our pioneering students are now SALARIED programmers at Afrisoft. The latest version of our Fixed Asset Management System (also used on our intranet) was programmed by one of them. Also the next version of our commercial SPC software is being programmed by another. We wont employ them talk less of put them on our major projects if the training we gave them is not intensive.

3. The ongoing batch includes not less than 6 interns (that we pay while we train them for free) this is aside from those on scholarship (Up to 100% scholarship). We train interns for free, pay them during their training and give them brand new official laptops and yet, you think its just because we want to milk them?

We need programmers. We conducted 5 different recruitment processes for programmers last year and couldn't get a single competent one. We are training to employ, we are not just training for money. We have every reason to train them well otherwise, they will not meet our own employment standards.

We are not a training school, we are a software company. Change your view. Something good is already coming out of Nigeria.

legendprac: @Lojik, I came here(nairaland) searching for ur contact details when I stumbled on this thread.... I would really love to speak to u in person, because your support team is getting worse by the day and if you want to save your business, it's either u train them or u sack them and employ competent people.
The services of your company are deteriorating by the day and it seems it gets worse when people need them the most; on holidays, 1st of the months,valentine,weekends,etc... There is no week that a new issue doesn't come up and as am typing this, there is a non-delivery issue going on,which I brought to the notice of ur support team YESTERDAY and in their usual manner, nothing has been done about it.... And it's WEEKEND as usual

I will be in lagos next week, because I CAN'T continue to have unhappy customers. Plegend is a brand and sms isn't the only business we do, and we can't allow u to put a dent on our brand which is focused on KEEPING CUSTOMERS HAPPY, VIA THE PROVISION OF QUALITY SERVICE...

Pls, do contact me, as I really want us to trash out things. Even ur personal website isn't opening as I type...

I will be in lagos and I hope to put a lot of things right, but before that, resolve the current non-delivery issue as it's weekend and we all know what that means....
Thanks

The complaints that have been laid here are not about all Afrisoft support. Its about estoresms which is a subsidiary of Afrisoft. Every subsidiary have their own personnel and resources. Its just unfortunate that most clients complain about Afrisoft rather than being specific about the erring subsidiary company. Other subsidiaries are doing great with their support e.g VoguePay team, Easy IP team, School supplement team, SPC team, ITP team, Software Dev team e.t.c.

Non delivery arose from estore's partners abroad. Although it seems they are not doing anything about it, but they have been working tirelessly on it since the first complain was laid yesterday. Technical issues at times require little time to get resolved. Please be patient.

Goldcon's complain was not delivery related. It was a complain about web development. His case is unique and it happened because the technical support staff handing his issue did not properly document it and went on exam leave without a proper hand over of the job.
The issues has been resolved and he has been compensated.

As i have implied before, a great percentage of our clients are happy and satisfied. Its the few cases where we have fallen short of excellent service that get reported here.
This should not change the relationship you have with us.

[edit]
I have been informed that the delivery issue was resolved this morning.

babasho1: These guys had been fantastic in their operations until lately, I wonder what is wrong and they have never come to publicly declared what their challenges are. I have sent three diff. mails and placed several calls, yet no response to address my issues. I don't want to believe that they have joined the other guys' club.

We use a support ticket system. I have looked through all Afrisoft tickets and did not find any email support older than 24hrs. If you sent in your mail today, please be patient. If it was sent earlier, check your spam folder or kindly resend it.

We are still fantastic. We have not changed. We rely on your feedback to get better.

You have made the right decision by choosing our product. Out of over 10,000 clients that use SPC, we fall short of excellent support once in a while and in such cases, clients bring the issues to public places like this.
This is not to say that we don't have thousands of satisfied clients or that we don't do our best to right the wrongs. We are a Customer centric company and we will not relent in our pursuit of an excellent Customer care.

Look through this forum and others, you will agree that we have numerous satisfied clients and that we do our best in improving where we are lacking.

Goldcon: Lojik, Afrisoft, Estoresms and whatever other name they operate with, are really looking for trouble with me and I must say that i am already warming up for it. My patience is seriously running out. It is like they have turned a break into a holiday.

I have been communicating with Seyi, Adebisi, Shade and two other persons there but I HAVE NOT HEARD ANY POSITIVE AND ENCOURAGING RESPONSE ON MY ISSUE. I dont want to mention the issue publicly yet because I are still considering the person of Ojikutu and have been very patient and understanding.

I have reached them again this morning and informed them that after next Friday (22 feb), i will take this issue a notch higher.

I have been informed that your issue had been resolved and also that a full refund has been issued to you as a compensation for the poor support you experienced. Your issue had been taken up with the concerned support staff as per the relevant Afrisoft support policies that have been violated.
Accept my apologies for the poor support. No excuse is justified right now.

NO BLAMING ANY PARTY THOUGH, THIS SHOULD BE A LESSON TO AFRISOFT TO BRACE UP ON THEIR CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP TO SAFE THEMSELVES OF THIS KIND OF MESS. in between solving this kinda of issue has nothing to do with crack or null..if you are a database programmer you can help yourself and others...the SPC component is not worth the effort of crack or hack....component is now already on third party database even afrisoft need a clearance to do anything.. NO TIME DISPLAYING TALENTS PEOPLE IN THE SAME LINE WE ARE TALKING FROM UNDERSTAND HOW POSSIBLE TO HELP THE MAN WITHOUT AFRISOFT.......

And you actually think we charge 3k to change db data?
Maybe you last used our solution when it was in version 1 or you never used it at all.
