@Dual Hope say u no get anything against OLX? Whats the reason for closing? We deserve to know or so we think. |
Although, the servers were running, in order to beat the time it would take to resolve the spamming issues and the blocked domains with the data center, we moved all the affected sites to another data center yesterday but it took some time to move lots of data. This is why some sites took time to come up (Including estore). Please provide your domain so that we can be sure that all has been resolved. |
Its a pity we have failed you so much. We have failed you while we have believed all is well. An apology will not be enough but an immediate step of action. I can assure you that all your issues will be resolved today if you provide your domain name. The hacking was not particularly our fault. A lot of Joomla sites were hacked worldwide at the time your site was hacked and we sprung to action to restore and protect the resellers that reported their site as hacked (Some did not). As far as i was aware, all the reported sites were restored. Up till now, we are not aware that ur site was hacked and has not been restored. During the hack, the hacker injected some scripts that have been sending out spam mails from the hacked sites and as such, the data center routed the domains to a null IP two days ago. This is why your site went offline yesterday without notice. Immediately we got informed, we sent mail and sms to all affected resellers that we are running unscheduled corrective maintenance to locate and remove the spam scripts so that their sites will be restored. Most of what you have experienced was because of the Joomla hack and i sincerely apologize for not having served you better and more promptly. Most of the affected reseller sites have been restored yesterday. Please provide your domain name so that i can monitor it personally. |
Ur hussy doesn't have to help manually, he could as well get you: a. washing machine b. Dish washer c. Vacuum cleaner d. Deep freezer e. Microwave oven f. Gas cooker with timer g. Blender with timer h. Rice cooker i. Deep frier with timer j. Fruit mixer with timer k. Yam pounder with timer l. electric kettle with alarm j. Any other gadget The unfortunate thing is that after getting all these gadgets, she'll still complain that u don't help her. I don't know how to cook and i once tried to help with the stew and the whole thing got burnt. I got the nagging of my life. I don't plan to attempt any chore again anytime soon. Let the gadgets do their work. I hope they invent a beans cooker with remote control soon. I wonder why vacuum cleaners don't come with pre-programmable touch screen interfaces. |
Slyr0x: LojikIn saner climes, the contractual agreement between you two woulda been terminated by now. .by the Service provider that is. .I cant just take action against a paying client at the slightest provocation. We have a very strong customer policy and i must abide by it. Solving his problem is not a big issue if only he will provide his login details to the technical support team. |
cheapsms: send your cpanel details to "support@cheapsms247.com" we will unlock your API modification within 20mins and FREELY, really do not know why you should be charged. Anyway YOU CAN COME BACK HERE LATER AND THANK US after we unlock it.I hope you read the SPC license agreement properly? Afrisoft holds a copyright license on SPC and we do not joke with legal matters. Be warned! |
I have made it clear that the last request by support for his login details has not been supplied by him. He did not provide support with the required login details so how do we sort him out? dennopro: I think as a service provider, you deserve to sort the guy's issue; if he paid then why dont you sort his issue out and surprise him with a solution instead of trying to sort your name out..You ccused us of responding to support request after days. We will definitely try our best at improving ASAP where we are lacking. We provide technical support to over 20,000 online businesses in different areas but we do not use this as an excuse, instead, we have continously improved on our support systems over time (You can attest to this if you are our client). We do our best to provide responses under 24 hours. However, the issue that led to this thread is not a fault of our support at all. The support responded to him by asking for his login detail but he never replied. He created this thread to tarnish our image and not because he wanted better service. He also created exactly the same thread on some other forums too. He then went back to our support and posted several links of the threads he created there to show how much work he is doing trying to tarnish our good name. |
@crescent The feature you are complaining about is one of the highly requested features in SPC before it was added. It allows Bulk SMS providers to lock their resellers to themselves and is useful in a lot of cases where hosting is given to re-sellers for free. The locking mechanism is very complicated and i cant explain it here for security reasons. To unlock it requires a couple of processes which may engage a technical support staff for an extended period of time, this is why it is stated that it is irreversible. Having stated that it is irreversible (to prevent people who do not need it from tampering with it), we charge N3000 to unlock components which have been locked by its owner. We stated clearly that this process will not be reversed and we also inform customers who request for it that the process is time consuming and on first come first serve basis. Your ticket was last responded to by technical staff (Ifeoluwapo) on Jan 25 2013, 10:36am requesting for a temporary cpanel access to unlock your component. The cpanel access you provided did not login in so he sent you a response requesting for the correct details. You did not reply after then. It is bad practice to come to public forums with the intention of damaging the good name of Afrisoft and come back to our support ticket to post this link there. You could have just posted your complain there if you had a valid point. |

I received the email too. Will try to find out if it originated from GTB. |
Timileyin: My Leke, na wa ooo.. every body know afrisoft and estoresms shares the same office. which one be all this one.. lolWe are now 100% owners of estoresms.com. The remaining 50% was also acquired last year. |
halimat1985: @lojikWe have several longcode/shortcode projects/products. I believe you are referring to longcode247. Longcode 247 was acquired by Mobile Automated Systems some months ago and the new owners had some issues with the sms servers last month. It has been resolved now. Afrisoft never provided support for the project, the support was outsourced from day 1 to Mobile Automated systems. The support is still managed by them (being the new owners). You should use the contact info/support info on that site if you have any challenges with their services. |
Timileyin: My Leke, na wa ooo.. every body know afrisoft and estoresms shares the same office. which one be all this one.. lolAfrisoft had a management contract with gracesoft over estoresms before the acquisition. If you are an old client of estoresms, you would know that all transactions with estore were done with gracesoft account before the acquisition but have been done with Estore Bulk SMS COmpany account after the acquisition. We stopped being ordinary managers and became owners because of the acquisition. |
You are probably browsing with dynamic IP address and your ISP (or Telco) is renewing your IP too frequently. This may be because you are in an area with significantly high drop call rates or some other connectivity issues. Each time your IP changes, you are logged out of VoguePay. Try using a different connection or try it from a different place. |
Send your CV or IT Placement request to info@afrisoft.net. If you have any skill-set, it will be wise to indicate them. |
Where do you stay? I could consider you at Afrisoft Interactive if you live within Lagos. |
Chrisvicmall: @Lojik,Some card issuers require us to keep every transaction record for a minimum of 13 months. |
I need the help of any PHP programmers out there, especially the Voguepay TeamOur hands are full right now sir (I mean VoguePay Team). Infact, we just concluded a job test today for php developers because we need more hands to reduce the pressure on existing developers. I am sorry we may not be of assistance here. There are great developers on NL who can assist you though. I have worked with some (e.g DHTML & Dual Core) and i am well aware of the magic they can perform with PHP. I trust you are in good hands. You can let me know if there are improvements we can make to the Command API that will help with this project. |
Integration is at the lowest level of payment processing (I mean really basic level). You should be able to handle this before thinking of a payment processor at all. As for servers and backup, i'll let other developers contribute here. Marketing? Na wa for you. Na me go teach marketing? There's so many stuff on the web about marketing. Use google. You'll be surprised at how much info you'll get for free. |
Do a currency conversion before you connect to voguepay. We are working on a currency conversion module that will be available when we start accepting International credit cards (Very soon) but until then, all our payments are processed in Naira and you have to do your conversion before submitting to VoguePay. Sorry this feature is not available yet. We cannot release a module that is in Alpha stage. |
Accept my apologise for the downtime experienced last week. We had some issues after upgrading MySQL to the latest stable version and recompiling apache. It worked fine on our test servers for about a week before we upgraded the live server22.com overnight and MySQL started crashing intermittently. It had been resolved since Friday and server22.com has been perfectly stable since then. It took us time to fix it because MySQL is not "downgradeable" and we had to ensure that no data was lost in the process. Please accept my apologies. Server22.com has had a very clean uptime record before this unfortunate event and we will do our best to make sure such a disaster does not repeat itself. |
@webguru Healthy competition is great and it is welcome. What's the fun in business if there's no competition? |
@dhtml I will buzz u on fb shortly. |
nigeriantalent: Hello Lojik, I posted some feature requests for Voguepay on another thread and I will like your response. Thanks. Its here: https://www.nairaland.com/1082888/suggestions-feature-requests-voguepayI have responded. Thanks for the feature requests. I wonder how we overlooked some of the initially. |
@nigeriantalent, I was impressed with the last two requests when i got them from our support team. You can be sure they are coming up pretty soon, although, not exactly as you have requested. They have been pushed into our queue of upcoming features. For the first option, VoguePay has a command API(Different from Payment API and Notification API) that allows you to transfer funds, withdraw to bank, query transactions e.t.c from your website/Application. You may need to implement that API. I do not think the first suggestion will be implemented anytime soon as it may require revisiting some legal docs such as our buyer protection policy. I really appreciate your suggestions. You must have taken a lot of time to study how VoguePay works. Thank You. @Dual, Really nice features. We'll definitely implement them very soon. |
It depends on their income. A man may accept 100% of the responsibility and equally 100% of the authority. If the responsibility is shared in any ratio, then the authority should be shared (Irrespective of Ego). If the man requires support from his wife, it may not require a formula, you should know your wife and how best to ask her. I believe that the more authority a man wants, the more responsibility he should meet. |

No. You do not need to join any association. However, being a corporate member of some associations opens you up to some information, connections and opportunities that you would not have been able to buy with money. |
