I had a display problem when i upgraded to xampp 1.7.2 and i figured out that php short opening tags were causing my problem i.e <? instead of <?php
i suggest you change all your short opening tags i.e <? to normal php tags i.e <?php .
That solved my problem after 3 days of troubleshooting without getting any display errors.

What you sent is not really obfuscation. i have figured out your mysql username, password, host and database name without any decoding. What you did was just to change your variable names to very long names but no obfuscation was done on the real code.
You want real obfuscation? its plain gibberish that you'd see in your code. even you wont recognise your own code.

Can you post the form code and the php code that inserts to database? That way, it'll be easier to identify the problem.

the ipad is not a sleek tablet pc, i see it more like an oversized smart phone.

YES!
99% of php obfuscators use eval() function to run the original code one page at a time.
To decode the obfuscated script, look for the eval() function on that same page and replace it with echo. it spews out the real code like a baby.

If u need an obfuscator, check d free obfuscator i have on my site http://www.afrisoft.org . its called phplocker and i'm presently creating a more secure version that will be available for free in a week.

just create a button, add an onrelease event then use that to load the desired external swf into level 0.
You shouldnt av a problem wit this in d first place since u said u r proficient in flash.

You may google "loading external swf in flash" if u dont get it (abi na d code u want no be explanation).

Those of us who have given so much into application development in this country will respond when u ask
"where is the innovative spirit amongst our people that have degree's in the computer and information technology"
even though we aint got related degrees to that effect.

We are definitely not there yet but believe me, some people did not graduate to be called programmers, we earned it by innovation, consistency, competence and hard work.

You may not see it evidently on d web yet but be aware that there are local applications that would impress u to know that they were developed here. I have developed too much to be listed here and i have met wit nairaland programmers that r worth their salt e.g dhtml.

i have developed functional government database applications, custom and commercial applications for windows, linux, mac, mobile phones, pda and web and i believe necesity is d mother of invention. The problem of programmers here is multifaceted.
-we cant sell our apps online.
-u cant get big jobs if u dont know big ppl no matter how good u r
-even d small jobs r given to lowest bidders without regard to competence
-clients wont buy ur commercial software if u r not oracle, microsoft, adobe, ulead or corel. in fact, no company wants to try made in nigeria solutions if u dont av an insider

Dont just blame d programmers, blame d environment / economy. i had to drop my almost done iphone app because there's no way to receive payment even if it becomes a hit. It took me 2 months to find an inter switch enabled site that agreed to sell my bible software and abt 4 months to get another that agreed to sell my elearning software online. i have about 7 commercial software not listed online cos there's no way to get paid as most payment gateways av blac.kliste.d nigeria and yet ppl like u say we r not innovative. Haba!

Aside from being good in programming, you must be really Sound in marketing before you can think of making Some change talk less of making a living. 'would recommend learning a web development language as VB alone might not be enough. Y are you still on VB and why not dot.net?

i believe that's what you intend to do. right? It shd work fine this way.

i coded it in .net and it uses sqlite database to store the messages.
if u r planning on coding yours, u might wanna consider the following features i have in mine:

1. At times wen sms comes in and are intercepted, gprs connection may not be available or may fail so i created a database to save the message and keep retrying at a user specified interval until connection to the website is successful.
2. It supports unlimited user defined keywords so that it can be used for more that one project e.g for keyword "RINGTONE", the message must start with RINGTONE followed by a space and for keyword "VOTE" the message must start with VOTE followed by a space
3. It restores sms messages that do not match any defined keyword in case the message is meant to be read not to be processed.
4. The program can be made to run in the background (not visible on the phone) and still intercept messages.
5. User can specify interval to retry gprs connection for resending of failed messages
6. All messages, date/time of interception, date of sending to url, response from url, message status, e.t.c are saved in the database for future reference and can be deleted/edited by user in excel like interface.
7. intercepted messages are automatically prevented from reaching the phone once they match a keyword
