I store in db and i dont feel sql injection is a problem. that can always b taken care of. Lets just say its more of how you do it than where u do it. I've neva even thought of using file but i'm ok storing session data in db. Just my style.

These codes are way too much man. Who has d time to read all the code? do u need this much to upload MP3?

If u r observant and carry out ur investigation on the hacked sites (which i have done), u'll realise dat the guy hcked d host (cant give further details).

i happen to get a report from one of the listed sites on they very day it all started, they were seeking my professional opinion and by the time i concluded my investigation, all my ten fingers pointed to the host. By the time we contacted d host (Name Withheld), they were already aware and told us they are trying to track the hacker or something like that. I dont use that host anyway but its a problem that's related to shared hosting.

I dont know if the server is in Nigeria but a popular lagos based hosting company hosted a lot of 9ja sites on that server. Just replace your index file and your site is up and running again.

1. If u are using joomla, is the "script" in question part of a joomla module, component or a modification of the default joomla uploader?
2. If not, is it coded by you or downloaded as JS and used in your joomla project?

If u can paste the script here and clarify how it is integrated with joomla, U could get help faster.

i use dreamweaver and notepad++ well.
IMHO there's nothing wrong with DW as it is very good for coding. i dont use any of their codes from design view as it contains a lot of "bloated code" that increase my file size and also make it obvious that its DW. Their syntax highlighting is quite nice and their auto-suggestion serves as a good shortcut to a reference library wen i 4get a command's SYNTAX.

If u wanna use dreamweaver well, u shd be good enuf to code everything from scratch. that way, DW can make u code faster but dont start relying on DW to do ur coding and db connections e.t.c for you if u will end up complaining of their codes. i recommend DW CS3 and above.

If u use php code inclusion modules that make u code php directly in articles, u can use include() to display your content in the article you want it. A search on the contents of the included file will not return any results as long as the search word/phrase is not in your article topic. this is because d joomla search performs the serch in the joomla db and your content is not in the db. It works for me.
