Who put this junk/rubbish on the front page? SMH...when there are incredible and more appealing posts lying fallow in different sections. Quite sad. |
Hmmmm...forget! dey will never listen o... Girls, defying every obstacle since 18BC. What you see as a dangerous period, they see it as an opportunity to maximize profit. They know that's when politicians carry bags of cash handy. They will not want miss out on their own share of the pie... But beware, both ladies and guys. |
lolaxavier:But don't spread it too much like butter ooo. |
babyosisi:Yes, very much on point. |
simplemach:GEJ, your days are numbered...make I add my own join...

chymystique:One and only close up. Don't use white paste, red gel is more effective...from experience ![]() |
Basildvalour:Now that I know, I guess I should relive those old school days... Before u know now, nairalanders will start saying poverty nah bastard.. |
Jochebed7:Well, to an extent, you can't really blame your senior colleague. She must have probably had a bitter experience in the past and maybe she feels the only way to avoid recurrence is to stay away from friends. And when you say say some things to friends some times, it may be blown out of proportion or taken out of context. |
Basildvalour: ![]() Seriously...roasted corn? Wetin person no go hear for dis place... |
Coldplay007:Maybe I sense the same thing but most importantly, do not let us conclude that way. As usual, people have been assisted in the past on NL subject to thorough investigation. Op, please identify yourself, your location, details of your test, which hospital and doctor and I know delegates from NL will be sent to validate your claim. Once that is done, then I'm sure good people of NL will respond and react accordingly... |
Fabdedon:I can see you really did what I did back then. But seriously, dat bread and close up concept make sense dat time ![]() I still used close up to mop my iron last week...very very effective. |
Fabdedon:If you can't learn from this, then you are not amazing... ![]() |
Toothpaste contains many useful ingredients that can be soothing and healing to the skin. For this reason, you’ll be able to use toothpaste to help you with the following issues: 1. Pimples: Reduce redness and the size of your pimples with a dab of toothpaste. Let it sit overnight, then rinse away in the morning for a noticeable difference. 2. Brittle fingernails: Since our nails are made of the same enamel as teeth, toothpaste can do a lot to help them. Simply give your nails a good scrub with some toothpaste for cleaner, shinier, stronger nails. You’ll also get that dirt out from underneath them in no time! 3. Fly-away hair: A gel toothpaste is largely made with the same ingredients as basic hair gels, so you’ll be able to substitute easily here. Just use a little dab and apply like a hair gel when needed. 4. Bites, sores, and blisters: Apply toothpaste to areas of skin irritation to reduce itching, swelling, and irritation. Toothpaste will dry them up quickly and help them heal faster. 5. Burns: For minor burns with no open sores, a quick toothpaste application can give you instant relief. The cooling properties get to work right away, relieving that painful sting. In the long-term, toothpaste will keep the burn from becoming a painful, oozing blister. 6. Bruises: For large bruises that take forever to fade, use a little toothpaste and a wide-tooth comb. Apply the toothpaste and gently comb the bruise in one direction to break up the blood clotting beneath the skin. Toothpaste helps with circulation and fights off the inflammation 7. Jewelry cleaner: Before you pay for someone else to clean it, rub toothpaste onto your silver jewelry and leave it overnight, the wipe it clean with a soft cloth. Give a light scrubbing to your diamonds to see them sparkle again, just be sure to rinse thoroughly. Avoid using toothpaste on pearls. 8. Show care: Scuffed or dirty shoes can look new again with a little toothpaste. Apply it directly to the dull, dirty, or scuffed parts of the shoe, scrub with a brush, and wipe them clean. Ta-da! 9. Clothing stains Tough stains will disappear with a little toothpaste and some brisk scrubbing. Squeeze it right on the stain and rub until it disappears, then wash as normal. If using whitening toothpaste, be advised that this can have a bleaching effect on some colors and fabrics. HOUSEHOLD: Toothpaste can save you money around the house by helping with some very basic tasks: 10. Computer Cleaner: Scrub away fingerprints from your keyboard with a white, baking soda-based toothpaste. Follow up with a damp cloth and your keys are good as new! 11. Iron cleaner:Take away the “crusties” from the bottom of your clothes iron with a quick toothpaste rinse. Just be sure to remove all the toothpaste before you start ironing again. 12. Baby bottles: To freshen up baby bottles and remove that sour-milk smell, put some toothpaste on your bottle scrubber and give them a quick wash. Always rinse them very well afterwards. 13. Piano keys: Like computer keys, piano keys get grubby with repeated use from the dirt, oil, and grime on our fingertips. Use a damp cloth and some toothpaste to rub down the keys, then wipe them clean with a dry cloth. 14. Crayon stains: Undo your kids’ damage to the walls with a damp cloth and some toothpaste. Rub it in gentle circles and watch the crayon fade away. 15. Odor removal: After cooking with “stinky” foods in the kitchen (fish, garlic, onions, etc.), getting the smell out of the skin is a challenge. Wash your hands thoroughly with water and toothpaste for a quick and easy remedy.... Source: more.ng/15-things-amazing-things-you-didnt-know-toothpaste-could-do/ | Visit http://more.ng/ for more

simplemach:They 'kuku' have ears, just that some cannot hold their tongues... |
bukatyne:If you are saying it depends on the husband, then it's an indirect way of saying she doesn't have a right to exercise her civil duties as a citizen of the country. |
TV01:Truth be told, I sincerely see no valid point in your arguments. What makes my point an odd approach? Everyone is basically entitled to exercise their civil right to vote. If you have a wife that is ready to agree to vote your candidate, good for you but that does not in anyway make a woman who does not agree to vote your candidate a bad wife. This is your own ideology. If you are asking 'what is so sacrosanct about an individual right to vote, then I should begin to question your ideology about how you view the role of a woman. And mind you, I asked my question in simple and direct way, don't answer in parables, give your direct answer to it. You collected PVC individually. INEC doesn't issue one PVC to a whole family. If she agrees to pick your candidate, good for you, if otherwise, then she should be allowed to vote her choice. Simple! |
myhoodlink:Well unfortunately, the truth of the matter is most ladies are guilty of one or two of the points listed. I just hope they learn from it. |
bukatyne:So maybe you should answer the question I have been asking and no one has answered. If she doesn't agree with her husband's persuasion and decides to vote her choice, is it an act of insubordination? Is it justified that he fights /quarrels with her or chases her out? |
I drive a car worth 2 million and live in a self contain doesn't in anyway translate to a fake life. It is called choice/priority. Paying rent shouldn't be seen as a heap of problem. |
bukatyne:It depends on your relationship with your husband. There are husbands and wives that actively discuss politics at home, hence there's no way to hide one's political inclination. Besides, why should you vote for mr A and lie to your husband that you voted mr B. Must it get that? Why can't the husband respect the political inclination of the wife. Simple! |
EfemenaXY:Your advice is disastrous and misleading. Maybe the op should elaborate more. I'm so sure the reason why she is still unmarried by now is what you are painting clearly again. Don't get me wrong, it is not a sin to be single at that age but if the op has mentioned that she's getting depressed, then obviously it is already becoming a burden on her life. |
Timbuktou:I have written in simple English terms. Don't quote me out of of context. I am not forcing any ideology on anyone.Just expressing my opinion. Tie my threads from start to where I mentioned persuasion and you will understand why I used the word. In a nutshell, all I'm trying to express is that if you forcibly try to persuade your wife to vote because you are in favour of a particular candidate, then you are obviously being selfish. I have already asked this question, what will happen if she does not agree to your pov on this matter? Are you going to fight or chase her out because of this? Isn't she entitled to make a choice in this manner. A family putting up a common front is a good idea but sincerely, I dont think that applies in this instance. We can all see how some people are dissatisfied with the current administration but just because you have your soft spot for Gej or you feel he has achieved, will you now make your wife vote him when she feels her gej has not contributed anything to the welfare of her parent or sibling. That is a very selfish and self centered thing to do. |
EfemenaXY:My question is what happens when the wife does not agree with the husband on the issue of who to vote for? Does that count as insubordination? Will you throw her out because of that? I wish MOD can just put this on the front page so that we can have many opinions on this. |
Your best friend may be like a sister to you, and you guys don't keep secrets from each other, but when it comes to marriage, you'll need to keep your lips sealed on some things. Imagine sharing a very private matter about your marriage with your friend, and you hear it from someone else who shouldn't know. How would you feel? While some things may constitute interesting gist topics, there are some that you should never ever let slip where your marriage is concerned. 1.How much your spouse makes: A lot of couples already compete - who drives a better car? Whose house is bigger? If you then reveal how much your husband earns, friends may categorize you unfairly. You wouldn't want friends to write off your issues as unimportant because they believe you make too much money to have real problems -- or treat you with an air of superiority because they make more than you (although the best kinds of friends would do neither -- consciously, anyway). Maintain the balance in your friendship by keeping all financial discussions private. 2.Your spouse is being a jerk: Honestly, it feels good to vent to friends when your husband is driving you crazy and a little complaining is fine, but once you convince friends that your husband is a jerk, they're not going to forget it. You may make up or get over your epic fight, but your friend may not be able to forget quite so easily. In fact, it makes your friends lose respect for your husband. 3.Which of your friends your partner dislikes: Don't let marriage get in the way of a good friendship. If one of your close friend turns your husband off (or vice versa), don't tell her or him. In fact, don't even tell your other friends at all, especially if the affected pal didn't really do anything to deserve a bad rap. 4.The amount of your debt: Truth is, nearly every married couple has some debt, but how much or how little says a lot about your financial stability as a couple. Friends may feel resentful if you brag about how little debt you and your husband have accumulated over the years. If you complain that you have too much debt, friends may not invite you to their house party because they feel guilty that they're doing better. Don't give friends a reason to judge you. 5.Details about your sex life: It may be thrilling to compare notes with friends about your sex lives, but there are certain details that are best left out. For example, your partner's sexual fetishes, the size (and unofficial moniker) of his penis and any other tidbits you wouldn't want people to whisper about behind your back. All in all, if siblings can betray one another, why then should you entrust your secrets with your friends. Be wise. |
