Previously my friends used to know I was on this thread by the big grin on my face. Now, all they see is a big  sad  instead.

I usually don't support Seun banning  people, but I am beginning to believe some people are ripe candidates for that now unless they turn a new leaf immediately!

Big Tip:  You do not have to post when you feel angry. Go for a walk instead!
InvestmentRe: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by loma(m): 6:13pm On Mar 10, 2008
In the spirit of goodwill, I suggest people go back to their last 10 posts and delete things they would not like to see next to their names in 10 years when they are running for Governor! Same applies for the quoters too

InvestmentRe: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by loma(m): 5:06pm On Mar 09, 2008
Now that people are awake. (At least me I just dey wake up, this time change just dabaru my system, 1 hour forward na lie!).

It is very important that we remain civil on this thread . If we are behaving like this on a forum we do not pay for, how will we behave if we were being charged.

Life is very simple, and the fact that this is an anonymous forum,or that we live in the diaspora does not mean we should not acknowledge elders (even when they are wrong). I have lived in the diaspora for years and have seen the negative consequences of not showing respect appropriately.

Giving respect takes nothing away from you, even when you feel the person may not deserve it.

Be that as it is, lets watch the tone of our language on this thread.Ask yourself, if you were talking face to face with the other party, would you say what you just wrote?

Last of all, we are here to make money, not make enemies!

Whao this is a long post, I should have posted a cartoon instead!

UAC Properties: REAL ESTATE
 Long-Term Perspective
Background: UPDC Plc, established in 1997, is 46% owned by UAC of Nigeria Plc., 5% by Unico CPFA Limited
and 26% by other corporate bodies including First Trustees Nig. Limited. Its listed shares are widely held by
Nigerian individuals and corporates, with no shareholder holding more than 10%. Its business is structured around
carefully chosen market segments in Hotels, Office/Shops and Residentials It is arguably the leading Nigerian
property development and management company and still remains the only one listed.
Despite uneven earnings over recent quarters (and the 4-month delay in the release of its 3rd Quarter results to
September 2007- which is often a sign of trends that management is not eager to reveal) double-digit growth is
inherent in valuable properties within its portfolio like Festac ’77, 1004 Flats, Abuja Hillview Estate and its Port
Harcourt Luxury apartments.
The jewel in the crown though is the Victoria Island Mall Plaza- estimated to cost $117 million (with proposed IFC
loan funding of $40 million complimenting) consisting of a complex of 36 high-end luxury apartments, a 15-storey
office tower, a multi-storey car park with 450 spaces, a shopping center and a 160-room 4-star hotel.

Caveat repete!

Easimoni meets,

BTW, I tried to analyse my reading habits on this thread;;

There are posts, I read online, and then print to re-read again  e.g ,
There are some posts I read, and then come back to read online
There are some posts I read, and make notes
There are some posts I read, and then move on
There are some posts I glance at , smile and move on
There are some posts I read and fall down laughing on the floor
There are some posts I walk by
There are some posts I read when I am bored with work, and have nothing to do
There are some posts I jump over to get to other posts
There are some posts I leap over so i am not infected by them.
And then there are some posts I do not even see at all!

In what category does your post fall into?

I no fit name names for fear of someone buying gun because of me. I still young well well.

I'm not too sure i'll be quick to believe the niwicable news. Truebond just invested like N1.3b into the company and currently holds 62%. So anyone that wants to buy into the company will certainly be needing their approval. Truebond hasn't even began to reap any significant returns on their investment yet as they just invested last year. If those guys (truebond) are what I think they are and invested for the reasons they said they did, they'll definitely not be selling out to anyone just yet. Odu'a investments owns like 25% or so of the company, and I don't see them selling yet either -- at least not until they've realized some sensible ROI.  So that leaves about 13% which is held by various Nigerians. Who's the big man that has bought into the company? And who is he buying from?

Assuming it's true that a big man has bought into the company, that means more shares will have to be issued to accommodate the additional investment, and truebond's shareholding will be diluted. I don't see them allowing that to happen either. Loma abeg make you confirm your source(s).
I reconfirmed from my source. Otu----o just bought into the company. Check it out!

Some heads up!

On CAPOIL; be careful so you don't buy what will burn your hands. NO fundamentals for that stock yet. The turnaround you see was done by a friend who bought 3 million units some days ago, and then the herd folowed. Now he has sold off the units. He is a broker so does not need to pay commision.

On Niwicable; they planned to do an offer, but have now stopped it,as one BIG man don buy in (Ot, o). So if you never buy your own, sorry!

BigTreat and First alum climbing up, ,

All Caveats Observed!
