muta1996:
A 6-day-old boy is brought to the emergency department for inability to feed for 12 hours. His parents report that the infant has been unable to open his mouth and has held his hands clenched all day. The infant was delivered at home by the grandmother. The mother had no access to prenatal care but says that the pregnancy was uncomplicated. The mother immigrated to the United States 6 years ago. Physical examination shows increased muscle tone throughout, arching of the back, and dorsiflexed feet. The umbilical cord is covered with a clump of soil. The mother says that it is customary in her village where she grew up to cover the umbilical stump with dung to speed cord separation. In addition to hygienic umbilical cord care, which of the following is the most effective strategy to prevent this condition?

A. Early postpartum breastfeeding
B. Prophylactic antibiotics
C. Prophylactic immune globulin
D. Vaccination of infants at birth
E. Vaccination of pregnant women
E. Vaccination of Pregnant Women.

I don't think the article and PMB's mode of dressing should be in the same sentence because he doesn't have a particular mode of dressing known to me, GEJ would have been a better example of a trade mark dressing IMO.
Are you really serious??

In you people's defence of this one man, you worship him like he can't be flawed even in any respect.

Topic said PMB has a trademark dressing. You, in guaranteeing defense, brought in GEJ.

As if PMB doesn't dress one way almost all the time.

HealthRe: Teratomas: the tumours that can transform into ‘evil twins’ by lomaxx: 10:22am On Jun 10, 2015
juman:
But what of the part of the news that stated that the the tumor to be an embryonic twin with bone, hair and teeth?
Teratomas are tumors derived from the 3 germ cell layers which would give you the bone,, hair teeth. Whether the teratoma is in the ovary, lungs, liver, or in the midline, you will have the same features. It doesn't mean there was a fertlization and subsequent implantation like a normal embryo.

juman:
I reread the news again I think the topic given by the website where I picked the news is appropriate.

Anyway what do you think the topic suppose to be?
Embryonic Tumour Discovered.....
HealthRe: Teratomas: the tumours that can transform into ‘evil twins’ by lomaxx: 9:29am On Jun 10, 2015
The topic is misleading. It rather paints the picture of a twin ectopic pregnancy in the brain.

The patient had a teratoma removed from her skull. Teratoma can either be one of embryonic or germinal tissue. This patient had an embryonic teratoma which divided into "twin" embryonic tissues.

Topics should be made to reflect the content abeg.

Gboliwe:
The threat of suicide puts me off. I find it very offensive that an educated healthy and able bodied youth will at any point in time consider suicide as an option because of tough times. It's very unsettling for me.
The honest truth about people that are just about to commit suicide is that they come out openly to talk about their fears, and their intended plan. It's not place where rationality takes preeminence. To them, they're better dead than alive.

The OP needs sincere help. Anyone that can, should help him out.

CareerRe: Lessons I Learned From Manny Pacquiao And Floyd Mayweather's Fight By Davis King by lomaxx: 6:59am On May 04, 2015
Bexson:
Life's lesson: to succeed, you need to take your time. There's no prize for being the youngest achiever. Professor at 32 years of age and professor at 67 years of age are both professors.
This is where you got it all wrong. A professor at 32 and a professor at 67 may both be professors - but don't belong to the same category of mentality, hardwork, and thinking. Life doesn't stop at one achievement. Over time, the scope of influence is going to be discriminately different.

Quick rhetorical question " the man who became professor at 32, where do you think he would be at 67 ?

There may not be a visible prize for achieving at a young age. But there's certainly a prize that people can't see. Each achievement is a stepping stone for the next. The earlier, the better.

RomanceRe: Sleeping Over At His Place: Must Read For All Ladies by lomaxx: 6:01pm On Apr 14, 2015
A decent man shouldn’t ask you to come pass the night immediately he meets you, he takes you out on dinner/lunch dates, the beach, cinemas, sightseeing etc. and builds a relationship with you first.
According to this OP, relationships are built in cinemas, beaches and sightseeing. Do this to build your relationship at your own peril.

Any man that wants to be serious with you will be serious with you irrespective of whether you choose to date in his house or in the cinema.

Some men will take you to a hundred cinemas in the world, then take you home, f***k that same p**ssy and dump your arse.

Its not by location. It's in the heart.

^^

People are entitled to their choices about how they want their life to turn out.

People are entitled to be 'crazy' about what they want to be crazy about.

People are entitled to choose what they feel would result in a "betterment" of their life.

People are entitled to choose Medicine and Surgery, because it's what they want for themselves.

As a general advise to everyone, please know where to draw the line when you're giving an opinion about somebody's career choice. If a particular career pathway doesn't befit your class of mentality, quietly allow those making the choice to make it and brace up for the challenges THEY are going to face.

Peace.
