redcliff: Cant tou see that the ambulance guys are well kitted up? What else are you looking for?I need a diagnosis from the physician in charge of the said patient that he/she has an Ebola Virus disease!! We don't diagnose disease with ambulance, clothing and photos. |
JEITO: are they not the professionals trained to handle such epidemic?Epidemics are handled with facilities and resources. The first aphorism of occupational health states: " unless and until the employer(government) has done everything - and everything means a good deal- the workman(health workers) can do next to nothing to protect himself, although he is naturally working enough to do his share" - Sir Thomas Legg Big question: so far what has the government done to protect the health workers in this looming epidemic? |
atlwireles: You don't have to work mister, it is really not my problem.Neither is it mine. |

overhypedsteve: so what happens when this two strands of virus mix together in a dangerous hot scientific concoction. What do we get? I see all your bogus scientific knowledge cannot help you to answer this scientifically sophisticated question put forward to you. By someone who have seen the depth of so many scientific text and publication. What you get when two bogusely named viral strains come together in a simmering scientific concoction is a VIRAL PEPPERSOUP yes. And i did all this research laying on my scientific bed lying on my scientific white lab bedsheet and typing on my scientific phone. What is the young man saying? Have you had breakfast? |
Post-mortem therapeutic joke!!! |
Lets hope the Thalidomide-Behcets disease incident doesn't repeat itself with ZMAPP. You would wish you died with Ebola. |
That article was referring to Enteroviruses. Ebola virus is a Filovirus - one million miles away from the Genus of Enteroviruses. For starters, Enteroviruses are positive-sense single stranded RNA viruses, Ebola viruses are negative sense single stranded RNA viruses, not to talk about the many other morpho-genomic and microbial distinctive patterns - so what exactly are we talking about here? Please learn to ask questions. If you're too big to do that, do some research. |

n9jaboy: What i mean by resistant is -he tries to withdraw/pull back his hand if you take it to an uncomfortable position unlike before that he wont respondWow. That's something. Please continue the physiotherapy. The outcome is considerably okay. Nerves take long to heal- you have to understand that. Don't let desperation lead you to do "things"( I heard you mention traditional man). No one knows limbs and fractures better than the surgeons. You & ur wife can also exercise the hand in all range of motions around the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand joints. Your boy is gonna be fine-best believe. Seek specialist advise before taking a step. In cases like this, your desperate desire to do "very good" might turns out otherwise. God forbid. You wouldn't want that. But take it easy. |
n9jaboy: Please are you a doctor? Do you conduct EMI Test in your hospital or do you know any hospital that do conduct exploratory surgery. I will appreciate any info on thisI'm not a doctor. If you're not satisfied with the care given to you at the hospital managing you, you can ask to be referred to a specialist - a pediatric neurosurgeon/neurosurgeon in a teaching hospital close to you. I hope you get all the help you need. |
n9jaboy: Yes lately my wifey and i noticed so resistant @ both upper and lower hand plus he wiggles his fingersDd you say so resistant ? What does that mean exactly ? Physiotherapy might bring your boy's arm back if done consistently and rightly. Continue doing the physiotherapy - it's the main thing. If by 6-8 months you're not satisfied with the progress of improvement, you can opt for surgery. |
