No condition is permanent. If e no better today, surely tomorrow is another day. |
Sent to all. Apologies for the delay. |
The stomach is a muscular organ and distends with food. The stomach is contained within the abdominal cavity- potentially spanning the left upper abdomen, the mid abdomen and the umbilical area(emphasis on "potentially"). This distending pressure is distributed equitably to the abdominal cavity thus making your abdomen distended when your stomach is filled with food. With time, food is emptied off the stomach into the intestines, and life goes back to normal. |
Degrees are good.... Going to school is good. But sadly, degrees doesn't make a good man/woman. It doesn't mean the relationship/marriage will be smooth. it's not a guarantee for bliss. There is a difference between being educated and going to school. When you go to school, you come back with degrees and certificates. When you're educated(which could be achieved by going to school), you expand your creative, thinking and imaginative ability to situations and circumstances. I'd rather have an educated partner than have a partner with a bag full of degrees. |

I will summarize it in one sentence. You have to be very understanding. Alutacontinua has said it all. Na she sabi pass ![]() |
Education doesn't guarantee money in life. Also, having money doesn't mean you have been well or poorly educated. Money and education are independent variables of each other. We have been poorly and deficiently oriented that we go to school so we can have a job and get money. For some lucky few, it works. But that wasn't the essence of having education. The essence of being educated is so you can develop your mental capacity to a superlative point where you scavenge your potent brainstorming strength and ultimately invest it in the creative capacity you've been able to develop - in a bid to solving the unending problems of mankind. No man has ever solved a problem and remained poor. Besides, life is a multifactorial spectrum of variables - there is no single rule or principle to striking a perfect shot. Life holds no guarantees. But if you ask me- its good to be educated. More so, it's better to have a streak of excellence. |

Sanchez01: Lomaxx I sincerely doubt it. It is mission Impossible. And for those abusing the word 'friendzone', you need to understand that you cannot zone someone you've once shared some special kind of bond with. Keeping exes as besties are somewhat impossible. Such most end with some 'friends with benefits, getting jealous as if something true is happening between you two, desiring sickly attention all over again and bonded to the person emotionally. It is a time bomb waiting to explode if one ventures it. It is however normal if both stay as friends, just friends and not besties. It's a complicated mess if you ask me.You're right. I didnt notice the "best friend" part earlier on. I don't do best friends so.... |
kcsamuel: good evening docs, hop al doin gud?? pls is it advisable for som1 @ age 22 to apply for medicine...witout any ist degree yet...When it comes to the issue of what someone or anyone should decide for his/her life, I'm usually not of much help. I believe that when it comes to goals and achievement, there is a common denominator - choice. Irrespective of how old you are, or how young you are- what's important is that you make a choice....and stand by it to the very end. Every choice you make is an opportunity cost to other seeming better choices. So if you're 22 and you want to study medicine, realize that you don't just need to apply- you need to be admitted. And you don't just need to be admitted, you need to graduate. So it's entirely up to you. If you feel age is not on your side, and you don't want to gamble, thus having a safe landing - it's still up to you. But if you ask me- you miss 100% of the shots you don't take. |
It's possible. I've done it countless times. Just friendzone them. |

Omomehn: Ok this is some serious stuff. I literally had sexYou could benefit from NSAIDS e.g Ibuprofen. Don't stop physical activity totally - mild stretching could help. If Ibuprofen doesn't help, you could consult your physician. Disclaimer: This information is for advisory purposes only. IJEOMA7512: [/quote]Who did this HSG?A HSG is a hysterosalpinogram which is an Xray of the uterus and fallopian tube. Normally a contrast is injected into the uterus from belowand if the tubes are open, it passes through them appearing opacified and spills into the peritoneal cavity and is seen on the film. The report suggests that the inside of your uterus - referred to as the cavity is normal. Right tube is opacified means that it may not be blocked. The scanty reflux back into the pelvic cavity means some of the contrast couldn't go through. However the beaded appearance is suggestive of tubal tuberculosis. However, some normal tubes appear beaded on HSG. A important information left out here is whether there was peritoneal spill or not. Left tube is not opacified means dye didn't enter the tube suggesting that it may be blocked hence reflux back into the pelvic cavity at the isthmus. This may suggest an isthmal occlusion. It can also suggest a spasm in the isthmus region - meaning the tubes may be normal. Also, there's no information on peritoneal spill. So it's inconclusive. Conclusion: Looks like your right tube is okay- except for a suspected tubal TB(which needs treatment). There's a suspicion of procedural tubal spasm on the left side- might be a blockage. Only a diagnostic laparoscopy can tell. Only one tube is needed for conception. Discuss with your doctor about the your result. HSG is not always 100% accurate but from the report that's what it looks like. Good luck to you. Disclaimer: This information is for advisory purposes only. Thewhizzkid1: Which company(ies) can give u a scholarship while u're a beneficiary of another scholarship? Pls reply ASAP..Thanks..Apply for all of them in the year you have none of them- you are not a beneficiary of any at the time of application. Anyone that says you should notify them if you have another award, you do accordingly. It's purely discretionary. |

Thewhizzkid1: Please what surgical procedures do doctors with the Primary MBBS(doctors of any specialty) do? Can they handle an accident victim? Also, what do pathologists do? Please replies are needed asap...Thanks.Non-specialist doctors can do a number of minor procedures - the spectrum which depends on the know-how of the doctor involved. You learn to do procedures by first observing then assisting then performing under supervision -until you can do it on your own. There are however complex procedures. The degree of complexity of a procedure is directly proportional to the degree of specialization needed to do it. For example, a non-specialist can excise a lump with excellent basic surgical skills/knowledge but cannot and can never do a cardiac catheterization. That's for the cardiologist. Accident victims can be handled by non-specialists. The outcome of that accident will determine if a specialist would be needed of not . I'll give an example. Tom and his friend Sam were returning from a party. They had a good dose of alcohol at the party. On their way back, Tom drove the car while Sam was in the passenger seat. Sam had his seatbelt on, Tom didn't. There were airbags in the car. Tom, driving at 140km/hr collided with another car coming in the opposite direction driving at 160km/hr. Due to the impact, Tom hit his head, had a deep laceration on his left arm,had multiple fractures on both femurs and lost consciousness. Sam, on the other hand, had only scalp lacerations. A non-specialist can manage Sam effectively, if there are no added findings. To manage Tom, you'll need a neurosurgeon, (to manage sequelae of head trauma) an orthopedic surgeon(For the fractures) and most likely a cardiothoracic surgeon(for vascular repair if the deep laceration damaged a vessel). Pathologists are specialists who are concerned with the diagnosis of disease by examining the body part concerned whether grossly(with their naked eyes) or microscopically. |
