Most un-sustainable project we have at the upper end today springed from Osun state.

They introduced "Opon Imo" as project to distribute iPad device to all secondary school students of Osun state, the supply of millions of iPad device contract awarded to the son of the Governor.. Millions of Naira perished there without accountability..

Feeding of school children was also introduced by same Osun state government with claims to have exhausted the state treasury on that singular project and subsequent. Proposal to federal arms of the ruling party, by proxy or by due diligent, school feeding project has come to stay with tangible proportion of our annual budget.

This is a state without programs, running on formality preference..


They know little than they assume to know and will soon start clamoring on network issues, cyber security challenges and all sort of after they must have succesfully comitted an unaccountable sum of money to this projects.

Federal government gave palatives to Nigerians through the state governments, the palatives was used to compensate political suporters in Osun state, after keeping people on hold for days, 2 cups of rice was finally given to each household without adress or any explanation..

My observation is that a lot of the so-called entrepreneurs just want to have bragging rights to be able to call themselves "CEO".

Unfortunately they do not understand that being a business owner comes with a lot of responsibilities.

I used to believe these craps till I was privileged to be in company of a coded recruitment consultant sometimes ago.

Mind you, majority of those hanging in the necks of companies in the name of recruitment consult are not the real recruiters.

The real recruiters are those retired men. Who have spent 20 to 30 years of their lives in practice, training and recommending technically vibrant youths for sustainability of the system.

Most time, they are the last stage of recruitment and to those companies we see that has been operating for God knows how long without news of recruitment for a day, these experienced men are first and last stage of their recruitment exercise.

Some companies are too busy to create time for recruitment, they simply accept those recommended by these retired men based on how conversant they were with the system while they were in the office and how well the system trust their decision in accordance with some sacrifices.

On few occasion, I've sat with these guys reviewing CV, it's mostly done when well settled about the latest part of the night, I've heard repeatedly saying "see this one.. Referee on request.. what will it cost him to put it.. how I wish he knows.." sitting near him has made me learnt so much about these CV things..

I've codedlly taken part in recruitment exercise in the past, despite that I only sat there to warm the seat as I had no knowledge of what to ask.

The most important thing is, ensure your details make the flash point and do not write "CURICULUM VITAE" on the page.

The right thing is..

Skip career objective stuff please, no one have interest in them and only makes the CV tiring to view. Concentrate on details of achievements.

Be smart about formatting your page and use bullets where necessary. Do not skip any detail as it might be the only advantage you have ahead of other CVs in comparison.

Note that Selected achievement is not the same with Professional experience.

For example, if you had worked in a bank as a bulk counter, and you recommended the use of automatic bulk accumulation alarm system that is programmed to sound when any cashier has up to 5Million in his or her save, Tellering will fall under Professional experience while "recommendation, follow up for discussion and review for installation of.." and many more will be under selected achievement sub heading.

Please add your hobbies and referees..
So many things constitutes consistency.
And always save a copy of every CV sent for you own use, especially those who edit CVs from time to time..

Being an importer does not tantamount to massive job openings around your industry.

Hi everyone,
Am really confused on what to do right now and I need advice.

I and my ex broke up six months ago...I broke up with him cuz we are always having misunderstandings...not just that..he can't control himself when angry , he always end up insulting me and calling me names but apologize when he is calm.

The last one that led to our break up was when we went to his friend's birthday party..on getting there,,i met an old time friend(a guy) and we talked for few mins .i went back inside where the party was holding and I met my bf angry already,,we end up quarreling there and he called me a prostitute in front of everyone(that wasn't the first time he would embarrass me in public)...

Now the problem is I still love my ex and we still talk and chat almost everyday...

He is the first person I call when I need advice and vice versa..my ex family thinks we are still together and always call to check up on me....this is causing problems in my new relationship....

I decided to cut contact with my ex but he is isn't ready to let me go and neither am i..

In company of many, it's offensive and doesn't connote fairness and transparency to talk to an opposite gender in isolation. You would equally have thought a thousand about both of them stepping out to talk leaving you behind.

Thirdly, whatever you leave behind should remain forgotten not claiming yo have moved on and you are still twisting your neck.

I want to believe if you had been the one found your supposed new guy being so close and giving so much attention to the ex he claimed to have broken up with, to the extent of chatting everyday and keeping close confidence of such magnitude and still honouring calls from his ex's family, heaven would have let loose by now.

You are probably not ready for a relationship by concept of those discipline, respect and dedications a worthy relationship really entails.

My ex openly turned down a request to have her number by a toaster of 6years when we met at a popular gathering in Presidential hotel in Port Harcourt, when the guy insisted, she gave him my number to call whenever he wants to say the 'hi' he claimed might want to say..
