Even central banks give bailout to non performing banks simply to avoid outright closure and throwing the employees into the street of joblessness.. Wait oh! Just a reflection, what is Nigerian Police role in this matter ever since? Is rape not a capital crime in Nigeria of 2019 anymore? If an ordinary citizen like u and I was caught on mere allegation of this nature, by now I would have been placed under arrest without granting me any audience.. Is Nigerian Law now a respecter of status? I expected that he would at least be invited for questioning or something.. 1 Like |

weyreypey: Its a man of God we are talking about here not just a man. 80% trust Pastors than Jesus Christ himself. No one would have had any premonitions that any sane man would think of bouncing on her in her house and at an open living room of that kind. Mind you, for certain reasons, so many ladies wouldn't dare talk about any misbehaviour from their pastors. It is often kept as secret and swallowed. There may be so much to these than we think. Carlyboi: Not all Nlanders are brainless bro, some have a reason that might be hidden to u for saying whatever you heard them say. Going by the ethics of fire warden, its really very demanding, it has to do with weight, energy, flexibility and attentiveness. As a matter of fact, fire fighting as a fraction of industrial safety is really a broadened department that is fully funded and anticipated to be competent enough to rely on for emergency rescue. It is on this basis that they conduct safety and emergency drills to sensitize and prepare the workers for emergency ready task. Talking about their drills, I wont say much about this to save time, the drills is more or less like military training, ability to 'safe lift' an helpless body and run with it despite having a heavy oxygen bottle (Respirator) on your back, and paying attention to safety of the victim under rescue operation. Most time, a male fire warder of 70kg might end up weighing 180 to 200kg after full rescue operation kit up. These and several other factors might be what makes majority throw a suspicious disagreement on seeing a lovely looking or bulky and fleshy female fire warders. I used to avoid the drills then, because its the fasted way of shedding weight. Lifting and running under heavy weight sometimes leave us with chest pains that might last you for days.. The chances of having a bulky and sexy looking female fire warder who has been actively participating in the drills is like 20% I think that could be the reason why Nlanders frowned at her curvy look.. They may not have the time telling you all these.. |

nairalanduseles: Have u ever had a relative or a close family friend who has fallen victim of these bagars you celebrate so carelessly? If you have not, i have one, Imagine a poor civil servant who has worked so hard and made savings for over 30 years of active service in a country like ours, saved for his medical bills, children's fees and all that, all of the sudden, someone intercept such lifetime savings in the name of yahoo.. Please put your parents in such picture and tell us how u would feel as a true son of such innocent man. My aunt's husband was defrauded over a hundred and fifty Million in 2011, up till now he's yet to recover from the loss.. A man that owned a manufacturing factory of about 1200 employee capacity in the heart of Lagos, built accommodation for workers, built market and churches for people to worship and even built colleges for worker's children suddenly became so frustrated and depressed at the loss of everything he had laboured for. If your parents come back home with such news of being defrauded of all he has kept for u and your siblings to count on even after his demise, would you pray for those fraudsters or otherwise? Conscience is our best judge. |

ReneeNuttall: My dear, its not only students, what about grown up adults, actively married with kids, That reminds me of my computer training centre days, I had about 8 trainees, a woman came around for typesetting service and somehow we got talking and she requested my number, she called after few days for a private training which I declined going to render home service as I had trainees to attend to on daily bases of which most of them are university students.. To my surprise, this woman paid me equivalent cost of training 15 trainees at my centre. Unfortunately I fell for it as I now had to instruct the most senior among them to take others and teach them.. The next bash of cash I made was her asking me to supply a set of PC, the table and seat for 80k. For my mind was like "God at work.. Ehn! I started feeling uncomfortable when the woman living in a duplex directed me to install the PC in her personal bedroom and training would obviously be in the bedroom by 9am on daily basis after she had dropped the kids off at school.. Sincerely speaking, there was no training, we spent most of the time drinking expensive wine and gisting in her bedroom for the first 3 weeks. She would send her driver to pick me up from D'Line to GRA on daily basis without tangible activity, surprisingly she would still dash me some money, most Tim 5k sometimes 8k.. When some elderly friends called my attention to the possible danger surrounding what she was dragging me into, I voom at once, only to later called me after 2 weeks of not seeing me to come and supply computers for her husband's new office complex. I humbly told her, madam I will connect you with someone who can handle it well.. Even better than me.. This things revolves round our system without bounds. Everyone has tendency to misbehave at his or her crazy mood. In offices, to neighbours and friends, u want to count how many ladies got laid by someone they've never even thought of dating? In the name of 'let me see some movies on my next door Neighbour's laptop, my roommate has traveled and I cant sleep alone.. She invited a fellowship brother to keep company and boom!! It has happened.. Na person wey we catch Na in be thief but by extension, we are at some point guilty.. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Romance / Re: Why Hausa Girls Dont Date Southerners by lonelygem(m): 10:59pm On Jun 24, 2019 |
falcon01: God bless you! From responses, one can certainly say they've not been to the north per say, the few that seems to have moved around the north probably came for NYSC purposes.. I've lived at Enugu, Port Harcourt, Aba, Onitsha, Asaba, Oweri and even Umuahia. When you talk of North, I spent over 6 years. The truth is, ladies from other tribes has succeeded in tarnishing the image of Northern girls. Especially Benue, Imo and Enugu. On several occasions, a confirmed Ibo girl on Ijab would claim she's from the North when you ask her name she tells u Faith or Esther, when they receive phone calls, you would hear them speaking Anambra igbo language or Benue.. So, My point is, not all girls you see on hijab around the walls are Hausas, most girls has seen hijab as the best garment to fake identities. Sincerely if u ask me, hausa ladies would rather spend all her money on fashion, looking good, smelling nice and remain hungry for a whole day. We have few dirty ones alike though, but when it comes to fashion, i give it to Hausas. If to go by extension, there are lovely, beautiful, matured, educated and well exposed women much in the North than else where in Nigeria. They are often reserved as their religion does not give them the right to speak up or create awareness in the mist of men. If Hausa lady passes by and she is noticed through her voice or by looking directly into a man's eye, it is sinful and considered as spreading immorality (fitnah). Its serious that a typical hausa mosque in the North do not encourage the women to come and pray in congregation.. Infact to get the clear knowledge of this, one will be going beyond wisdom of many Nairalanders as some are just naturally antagonistic, mere mention of anything good from the Northern part of the country give them orgasm and they start foaming for no reason. There are areas you go to in the North that is 65% dominated by Igbos and 15% Benue. Places like Minna, part of Kaduna, Suleja and so on.. The whole of Banawa is 90% dominated by Igbos who are just around to mess around with small small Hausa girls, they claimed to make the environment lively and patronizing the hotels. Meanwhile even the so called indigenes would now have to be at the mercy of the strangers.. 7 Likes 1 Share |

ellagabs: My dear, I'm sorry you are feeling the way you are about this employment saga in Nigeria. But the truth is that, the table has finally turned in Nigeria, especially with what the present administration has demonstrated so far. Education is not a yard stick for success or employment anymore, its just to sensitize the youth on right and wrongs and to be creative about delivering the numerous society problem through logical reasoning and excellent foresight. By extension, education or let me say Degree of any kind merits Nigerian youth for consideration in any firm established to tackle some of those problems. Its in the light of this that youth are hired to come and contribute a quota since passing through those institutional years has been a justification that you are sane, you are logical, you are averagely upright in terms of reasoning and intelligent quotients. Our present challenge now is, if Nigerian youths have been through all these and certified that he or she can make a difference, why must that difference be made under durex? Why must you serve someone after acquiring all those experiences that majority were not lucky to have? As a 3rd year student, What about planning something to embark on after graduation irrespective how small it is? Some of us are very excellent in talking, but we are not seeing ourselves beyond gossip and backbiting, meanwhile speech delivery is the only thing some people are doing to sustain family and help others. Some of us are using phone worth 50k, but we kick against investment of less than 30k. Meanwhile many of those guys you see having more than 2 shops at Alaba and various places today, majority of them came to Lagos with less than 30k, they slept around with friends and managed to rent a shop, they slept in the shop and got focused on businesses till it boomed. As a youth, we need to look into ourselves very well and identify our potentials, what are those things I love doing? Is thee any opportunity around it? Can I convert it to productivity.. I know of students who rented 2 acres of land from federal authority at the rate of 6k per year, the said student is still in school but one of the employers of labour in our society today.. Everything is centred at youth development and youth empowerment, but as it looks like scam, many have seen it as opportunity and keyed into it and they are doing just good. They may not come forward to announce their success, but they are really progressing.. We can do better.. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

If she's a law student, some of us here are law analyst. Who doesn't know she would exercise some prowess to exonerate herself and evade justice. What is her strength to make us believe that the man couldn't withstand her and had to result to bringing such a deadly weapon into the scene. 88% of such scenario, we all know its the women that brings weapon into the scene as a measure to overpower the other party. I want to believe they are not living in a single room apartment, which means the apartment has a kitchen and other facilities.. So, chances that the knife was coincidentally within the room while the argument ensued is like 2%, so we need to know how a knife came into the crime scene if not to be believed someone intentionally brought it in for murder purpose. I think they should conduct psychiatric test to ensure mental stability of both parties as provided by the law before proceeding on the trial. |

Romance / Re: Why Do Shell Workers In Portharcourt Act And Look Posh And Sophisticated by lonelygem(m): 7:07am On Jun 20, 2019 |
Ilamina: You are just unnecessarily curious and want to know what's happening outside World. Let me start with this, the criteria for securing a job in Shell system is absolutely different from what u see around, you may ask your parents what it was like securing that seat and subsequent process of retaining the position. SPDC system is sensitive to so many factors, environmental influence, security sense, safety sense and accountability among others, and would do anything to sustain her integrity around those factors. There are shell staff and there are contract staff.. But sincerely, 70% of those occupying the seats in IA are contract staff. U may want to find out where your parents belong.. Shell staff are well inducted into Shell system without a choice. They are more or less an asset to SPDC and their safety and security is a core value. It is on this note that all their dependant has equally becomes a secondary asset to the company too. There are professionals from various countries around the globe employed to foresee safety and security of asset, these people operate with policy which is deemed best to keep their responsibilities uncompromised. They came up with ideas to operate outside Nigerian system after they observed a glitch in our own safety and security system. Access control as a fraction of security system is not left out. There re chances of people being kidnapped on their way to churches, market, clinic and so on. By extension, we once had a case of Shell staff that was called out of his house around 7pm and he left casually telling his cousin living with them he was coming back soon.. He wasn't found, only for his corps to be recovered after 8days. The investigation revealed he was called out by a lady, probably one of his side chicks and he was held there for few days withdrawing with his ATM cards since they couldn't draw huge amount in just one day before he was finally killed. U can confirm this from your parent if he or she was in the system then.. We equally had case of a cousin living with a shell staff, he connived with armed men to kidnap his own uncle. So, with these occurrences, shell system do not trust Nigerians and Nigeria as a whole. Safety and security of staff, property and asset is a core priority.. And there are so many documents signed by your parents indicating you as his or her dependant, that's why you must come to IA clinic for your medicals, and there are commitments to these process from your parents through compliance with the policy which states some of those things.. Your dependant must not visit places suspected to be unsafe, your dependant must not do this and that.. So, there are more to this things than your parents can actually tell.. Just know that as a shell staff dependant, you are a secondary asset to the company and it a priority of the company to ensure safety of lives, property and asset of the company as the case may be. Your parent is committed to these safety through compliance with all the policies raised to aid goal zero. Just face front and stop digging into what is not necessary.. Everything you want is there in RA. Lovely gardens and serene environment, sport and gym, even club at a very nice design. Hospital, swimming pool, internet access and so on.. Some of those freedoms you clamour about often leads to destruction and regrets. 5 Likes 1 Share |
