I've resulted to using microfinance bank since 2016. Most guys thought I was going back to analogue ages. Little did they know that its better to remain analogue and your money is safe.

In Microfinance banks, your details dint work outside the bank. You cant move money out to conventional banks and u can't even do weekend transaction. U cant transact without coming into the bank as even the staff know customers by their names and can always keep tract of your transactions off record.

..as long as my money is safe, I'm cool with it. Even the fear off police has made many people back out of using ATM cards.

This is my 2nd years plus in his house, my rent will expire by August 31, about 7 months ago the old man and myself have been having issues in sharing NEPA Bill (phcn), and after much talks I always pay whatever he claims to be my portion, recently (last week) he has to disconnect my apartment from power supply due to our usual point of disagreement, like that's not enough, yesterday I was served a quit notice by him to vacate the apartment. Now my questions is

1. He has cut me off from power source, and I still have three good months before the expiration of my payment.

2. He served me quit notice on 7/6/2019 and my payment will last till 31/8/2019, he claimed that quit notice is three months to the expiration of rent (instead of Six months).

My amiable lawyers and law people in the house should please advise me on what to do and how to go about this.

The fear of collateral damage to the society won't let military give such go ahead. The highest they can do is to set out surveillance and intelligence gathering contract for the supposed civilian security and mandate them to work with OPDS (Operation Delta Safe) which is also an arm of military intelligence operation..

U will never see military guys holding GPMG on operation irrespective of severity, the objective is to dislodge, apprehend and hand over to police or civil defence as prescribed by code of conduct. But you see the guys they are coming after holding GPMG and digital snipper rifles without any law sanctioning them.. What are you talking about, these guys chased SARS off the road with gun shots, SARS ran and immediately notified the Army, army mobilized fully equipped, these guys engaged the army face to face on the tarmac, Army backed out when the pressure was beyond what they expected and even left a hilux truck behind. The guys drove a military hilux away.. It took weeks before Army was able to recover the hilux and they even had to go for the recovery with a masquerade (armoured tank).

How can u be so sure? Na yourself u know, do u know the kind waka wey others don make? Abeg leave Mata.. Going spiritual is not the best. I was defrauded of 400k in 2012, I was advised here and there. I lastly went by the law enforcement, I rather spent additional money and didn't get my money back, instead the case was taken to court by the strict DPO and the guy was jailed.

Fast-forward 2016 again a guy defrauded me of 17,000. I ordered something online and he brought it doorstep, I made transfer immediately with my account debited. Only for him to claimed he didn't receive the fund, I suggested he wait a little to give me room to see if there would be reversal. Funny enough, the cash eventually entered his account and he received alert but because he was very hopeful that I would eventually make another payment, he kept quiet and took advantage of me. I made a fresh payment in cash this time after waiting for about 2hrs and I didn't get reversal..

I proceeded to my bank same day to fill transaction error form and I was assured I would get the pay back..

In a nut shell, the bank confirmed the transaction went through and the guy was alerted few minutes after..

I placed a call across, he still denied.. I proceeded to his bank (Diamond bank), his bank claimed their customer account details was confidential and could not be revealed to anyone.. I made hell of big threats and as God will have it, I was on military camo. The guy just turned the system screen facing me, "Oga your transaction went through and our system updated immediately, see ur transfer and when it entered his account". I left the bank and called him, he was still denying but as I mentioned to him that his bank has confirmed that he received.. He said in Igbo instinct 'Oyah wait make I call u back'.. Over an hour gone he didn't call back. I called his line and he was like.. Oh na true oh. I just dey see am now say the money enter.. But I dey village now bank no dey and network no good to return am, if i reach Lagos, I go pay u back.

2 weeks later, the story change. The guy was saying I should come and get him if I could. He clearly told me he had eaten the money and I should go and jump into lagoon if I like..

I talked to someone who I was so sure could just hurt him spiritually, but I thought of it, does 17k worth the gravity of what could happen to him? I might just end up regretting hurting him as no one have absolute control of spiritual infringements.

Though I felt challenged that any man could actually use such confrontational speech "go and do your worse" but u never can tell the outcome of the whole thing if going by his reckless statement.

That was how I sacrificed the money for hand stain..

If u cant afford to let go the money, go by human right and I believe that to be the best approach and mildest approach without blowing things out of proportion.
