He did the same thing in Ondo state by supporting Mimiko during the guber race. When he supported Adam Oshiomole to win Edo state governorship election, he's not a Kindergarten president abi? |

My colleague just joked that the Old man might need to be examined by a psychiatrist. He may have suddenly developed a brain disorder. Akande is very familiar with kindergarten style of Government because it was what threw him out of government house as a governor. If Akande type of leadership is what is expected from his "Apprentice Political club" , APC, then Nigerians should wait for another messiah, because it's not and can never be APC. |

Sunny_bobo: And you people have since upgraded to more serious political game of murder. Check out the stats in this current dispensation;
-------2003, Dr. Ayo Daramola, a PDP gubernatorial aspirant in Ekiti State, and a consultant on Social Protection and HIV/AIDS to the World Bank Country Office in Abuja was murdered in his bedroom at his hometown, Ijan-Ekiti. A nutritionist who recently joined the race, his death is linked to the intra-party crisis, which has thrown up political enemies after the death of the third term agenda in the state. He was stabbed, shot and hacked to death.
------ Engineer Funso Williams, PDP gubernatorial aspirant in Lagos State and chairman, Board of Directors of Nigeria Maritime Authority (NMA) was murdered on July 27, 2006. Police are still investigating this assassination. Forensic experts were invited from London to assist them. The police arrested PDP gubernatorial aspirants in the state and some members of the NMA board. They were held for about three weeks.
-------- On July 16, 2005 unknown gunmen killed Alhaji Lateef (alias Lati Osogbo) a close associate of the strongman of Ibadan politics, Alhaji Lamidi Adebibu, in Ibadan. --------- Alhaji Sulaimon Olajokun, a Lagos-based businessman and one of the 'financiers' of the group, Oranmiyan was murdered on his way to Lagos from Ile-Ife Osun State, in a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) on May 15, 2005. He was a chieftain of the Alliance for Democracy (AD). --------- On December 23, 2001, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Chief Bola Ige, was killed inside his bedroom at Ibadan, Oyo State. The police declared one Olugbenga Adebayo, ( a.k.a. Fryo) wanted in connection with the murder. The trial of suspects took many twists and turns; several judges resigned from the case, and Ige's wife died after one of the futile hearings to trace the killers. The Oyo government withdrew the case from the court in 2004. ---------- Mrs. Emily Omope (a.k.a . Thatcher), an AD member, died on March 3, 2003 at the UCH Ibadan after an acid attack in December last year by unknown persons. --------- Unknown assailants in Lagos killed Dele Arojo a PDP gubernatorial aspirant on November 25, 2002. --------- On December 19, 2001, Mr. Odunayo Olagbaju, a member of the Osun State House of Assembly, was killed in front of the Moore police station, Ile-Ife, Osun State.
--------- Ahmed Sardauna, chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State also fell to the assassin’s bullet in 2003 Tell them |

The yorubas and the hausas are openly telling Jonathan to give way for them and you are busy groping. I hope you all understand that he who does not participate in a competition needs no medal. Jingo-OAU: Am very sure that 90percent of us here are novice when it comes to aviation business. As a Cabin Crew, I still know some details concerning the passenger traffic.
Those things some of us know are little compared to those things we do not know. Some of us just concluded prematurely that Igbos constitute over 50percent of air travellers in Nigeria, and I laugh. As a cabin crew, before a flight take off, we already have the flight manifest with us where passengers name are written.
Let me divert our attention a bit, Aminu Kano int'l airport in Kano carries more passengers than all the south east airports combined both local and international flights. Infact, most flights coming from Libya, lebanon, malaysia, egypt, saudi arabi, Dubai, UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Georgia, and some other middle east countries are populated by the Hausas. All these flights are restricted to the nothern part of Nigeria, especially for those Hausa traders who import and export their goods. 95percent of Hausa traders ply Kano airport instead of Lagos for international flight. Infact, all the hajj and umrah operations concerning Hausas are done in Kano.
Let it be clear to most of us here that flights originating frm LOS to Kaduna, kano, Maiduguri, abuja, and some other less important airports are populated by Hausa traders. Nevertheless, in as much am not disputing the fact that Igbos do travel a lot. Their travellings only peak once in a year and dats during december alone. For the northerners, they travel everynow and then, but dey dnt stay permanently in foreign countries.
The reason no airports in southwest of Nigeria carries more passenger is cos of proximity to Lagos. It will definitely make no business sense for another airport to be situated in Ogun state. For instance, southwest of Nigeria is as big as Ghana, yet the whole of Ghana only have Kotoka int'l airport as d main functional airport. Its very much better for any passenger residing in ibadan, abeokuta, oshogbo,etc to drive straight to Lagos rather than boarding an unnecessary flight direct frm their source.
Moreso, some people even talk as if we are so rich in this country. How many nairalander has travelled out of this country not to talk of travelling with an aeroplane within Nigeria. And yet, some idiots would be beating their chest that their ancestors travelled more than others when in actual sense, they are limited to their erosion-driven region doing farming. Bad belle go kill you. |

kel4soft: GEJ hate Port Harcourt and Rivers State. Don't ask me why cos i don't know why he has 1. Refused to carry out any Federal project in the state. 2. East West road that connect the entires length and breadth of PH looks stalled. 3. The PHIA that is supposed to be upgraded looks abandon. 4. When a state that has four major road entry into it namely, East-West road, PH-Owerri road, PH-Aba road and PH-Enugu road. With the state govt completing one (PH-Owerri road) and one still on going (PH-Aba road) still by the state. The other two arteries mentioned above still dormant. 4. Leave construction road, what other sector has Rivers State benefited from FG 5. Has he stopped oil pollution in my backyard? (opobo creeks) Infact this administration has witnessed increase in pipeline leakages more than any administration. 6. Yaradua 3years in govt is far better than GEJ to Rivers State. Our creeks have floating filling station under him, East west road (ONNE-ETTE section), peace in our state, completion of 3rd phase of LNG in PH that was paid by Yaradua and GEJ cancelled it. Building of Air force colledge and more. Please, am more interested in development not in their politics. Who opened gate for this mad man? |
