A Christ Embassy Church in Akwa Ibom State has been shut down for violating COVID-19 Protocols on Social gatherings.

According to a statement made available to POLITICS NIGERIA on Sunday, signed by Dr Emmanuel Ekuwem, Secretary to State Government & Chairman of COVID-19 Management Committee, the church was sealed after some of its pastors and members attacked the government's COVID-19 protocol compliance team.

"Today, Sunday 21 June 2020, the Akwa Ibom State Government and Christian Association of Nigeria ( CAN) Monitoring Team, while on a routine compliance/inspection visit to the Christ Embassy Church, Nung Akpa Ime branch, State House of Assembly Road, off Nsikak Eduok Avenue to enforce the Akwa Ibom State government/Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC)/World Health Organisation (WHO)/Christian Association( CAN) Guidelines and Protocols adopted to prevent community spreading of the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic in Akwa Ibom State, were obstructed, attacked and brutalized by the Pastors and some members of the church."

"In response to this act of lawlessness by that church and in order to avoid the risk of community transmission of COVID-19 in Akwa Ibom State, the Christ Embassy Church building and premises are hereby sealed up with immediate effect till further notice."

"The suspected Pastors and relevant members of the church will be made to face the wrath of the law." the statement read.

A just judge attends to every case according to its individual merits. If God is a just judge, He must deal with each person according to their individual merits.

When an infant dies, the destination of that infant is Heaven, instantly. Sin, age of accountability and predestination are usually the parameters many of us stumble when we try to provide an answer for this very important question. He rebuked Jonah for praying for the damnation of those could not discern their left hand from the right: little children and those mentally incapable of making right judgements.

You may ask when does a child stop being a child, and become accountable? When you consider the nature of everyone, the question should not be about “age of accountability” but the “condition of the individual”; a 30 years old person with down syndrome is “mentally a child”.

All children are unique in their development and exposure to the truth; so, a righteous judge has to consider these conditions. There is nowhere in the Bible where there is a stipulated “age of accountability”; so you have to take your eyes off the calendar. Only God knows the age of accountability.

Any child who hasn’t reached the point of moral culpability, to convincingly understand the difference between sin and salvation, will proceed to Heaven when such a child passes away.

With my personal Experience, Observation and inner conviction, I think I dont want to be part of any religion again. This thing is truely an opium of illusion meant for people who cant take their destiny in their hands and for a sheeple masses.

Despite withdrawing from religion I found myself even having a better moral compass which I cant explain. We are throwing away common sense, hardwork and universal principles to leave in illusion. At the end of my observation I have come to the conclusion that its what you do for yourself that counts more.

When I see poor people dying of hungry in a country which have the capacity to be the global industrial hub I know we have throw away common sense, Nigeria biggest investment to South Africa is Religious buildings (Church) while here in Nigeria the South Africans brought us MTN, DSTV, SHOP RITE e.t.c which employs thousands of people and gives profit to our Investors inventing in the stocks and shares of those companies I realise religion is lack of common sense.

No amount of religion can make you succesful without application of common sense.
No amount of religion can make your marriage succesful without application of common sense and consideration for your partner.
No amount of religion can a nation grow and prosper without application of common sense, productivity and good policies.

At the end of it I think am leaving religion, its not worth it. Even uprightness and moral comes from a person inner conviction and not because of religion.

some times i wonder why churches build 150000 capacity buildings when such resources could be used to invested in the agricultural industry or textile industry in Nigeria where a pact is agreed with the federal government and lots of jobs would be created will not only benefit the citizens but also the church because of the heavy returns that would come from it. But, they prefer to build walls that would bring in more tithers.

Sickness, life support or not doesn't entails someone is dead...... Healthy people pack up too. When it's your time, it's your time. There was a black athlete that was on coma for 32 years and didn't die during this period due to miscalculated general anaesthetic by he's doctor.
