Happy new year everybody in the house. I know about empty carton recycling business. That is, buying and reselling to the Chinese. I want to start the business full time now but lack of finance is paralyzing the plan.

Please I need a loan assistance of N60,000 to pay back in two months time. I am very sure to make the profit before the two months.

Nigeria is a land of opportunities to only those who have the inner eyes to see one. Nothing can ever make me take such a decision of relocating. If you want to go, bye-bye but you'd spot the difference in later years if you choose to remain there . Why not apply same spirit on developing yourself here? Go there for studies and come back with opportunities. I'd like to cite a few examples below on some of us who came back, against all odds.

1- I've been around the globe, even acquired certificates, up to 4 different ones and some training skills in amazing facilities. I came back with an opportunity which is seriously proferring solutions to our problems in Nigeria. No manager in the leading oil and gas company in Nigeria can match my worth...no be bragging matter. I don hobnob with world leaders, including Barack Obama. I'd have regretted it, had I stayed back.

2-Anyone who goes to one of the old generation banks would see an inverter with battery banks on one side of their banking hall, powering their atms... its as a result of an innovation brought home by my uncle. He left union bank for Atlanta in the 90s, got employed at Walmart as stores officer. One day, as he was going home branched at a newspaper vendor( a mexican) booth to read papers as usual and there he spotted an Inverter company located in Arlington. I'm mentioning it as it is so people could check it out. Its called Trace Engineering, later changed their name to Xantrex. He applied to them to be their rep in Nigeria to solve the epileptic power supply in critical sectors but they refused his application for 3 reasons. One, that the product was new to Africa and 2ndly, that being black, it would be impossible to convince his people on adopting the technology. 3rdly, that they weren't ready to expand beyond the shores of America as at that time. He felt disappointed. 2 months later, they called and told him they had reconsidered his application and invited him for 2 weeks training after which he was asked to come to Nigeria with demos to show to his prospects.

Long story cut short, his friends of Nigerian decent blasted him, they said his village people had come calling. He summoned courage and left America with almost nothing. On getting home, he started from his 1-room apartment he left behind. He went to companies, the CBN and other places in government too. CBN told him they had constant power supply with 3 standby automatic switch generators so, they'd not need his ideas. He told them but its free, they now allowed him to install one at their IT dept. 6 months later they had issues with their generators as there were a major power outage from national grid so they over fired the generators. They all packed up within same time. They had to order parts from abroad but then they needed to keep their IT dept running to prevent loss of files. The moment the 3rd gen stopped , all the directors were panicking, rushed to the IT room only to find out that the staff were working as normal with lights on. The called my uncle over, thanked him for saving them a major disaster and gave him a contract to install the inverter on all the CBN branches nationwide. Shortly after that, the atm revolution came and CBN recommended this man to all banks starting from the old generation banks...this man won a global distributor of the year 4 times and was invited with family to the USA for an award each time. His colleagues back then can't even near him in anything. Rather he gives them money on each visit. If you want to go...go and school or you spend a little time and while you're there, study the environment, study our challenges back home and you'd not regret leaving for home ultimately.

A friend is talking with sanwoolu on ocean transport from ikorodu to lagos Island now and discussion is at advanced stage . He's worked with a similar company abroad for some years now and now he wants to tap into the opportunity and the company is ready to fund this project 100%. When you see his private jets or copter hovering ahead of you tomorrow you see him on forbes list, don't say money why...while working in the biting cold over there.

Kenny and D1 would have stayed put and remained stagnated. See the duos balling today. Their contribution to the entertainment industry is invaluable. These are the people we know. There are several other successful guys out there who took a similar decision.

You misunderstood what that lady said, she never in any way said or acted like she didn't appreciate the op.

We appreciate the thread because it is an eye opener. The op has been selfless for sharing information so as others can learn.

No body owe any body anything here but at the same time we all came here to help each other.

There is nothing bad in updating people like the op. Did about sergienko agencie taking too long to get work permit.

Atleast you guys that have knowledge and experience should help update us on good agent. That doesn't mean if anything happens you are responsible. I don't think any one will do that.

Example in investment section,there is a thread called DIGITAL AGRICULTURE PLATFORM . They update on the platform companies that are doing well that you can invest. To help people.

Nothing like entitlement here, we just want to help ourselves. If anyone knows good agencies feel free to share

We know the rate of cyber scam now. I have done research on agencies but don't know the one to trust. But if someone that have knowledge can help me out it saves me 80% from been scam.

Person no if know everything, and that we ask questions doesn't mean most of us don't research. It's just that even with the whole research we still need some one that has crossed the bridge to assist if not it will look like we are taking 100%risk, but with the assistance with people that are knowledgeable the risk will reduce to 20-40%.

Some of us they use our head. but understand say nobody is an island make you understand.

you are OK with this kind of help, he is OK receiving the help, she is OK, I don't mind either but the government mind. If it's discovered, both get arrested, heavy fined, him deported and her jail and losing her pension and all her benefits. It's crazy. And it has no forgiveness, even after many years and becoming a citizen, he can be arrested and deported.

My type? I don't mind who comes or not. What type are you? talking nonsense. Please, research about this kind of help, read and educate yourself. Also this kind of people "helping" new immigrants, many blackmail them later and ask for more and more money or just go crazy about anything they dislike and run to the authorities to tell all. Normal person won't risk her pension, you never know how ugly could become this "help".

Guys be very careful even with SergienkoLawyers. Be very sure before you make any payment. I’ve heard that some people haven’t received their work permits yet..and it has been over 5months.

Don’t blame anyone if you’re scammed. I’ve noticed that SergienkoLawyers have also realised that Nigerians are desperate, and they’re taking advantage of that.

You can go ahead with them at your own risk! Look at other agencies too. Don’t be drawn to them cause of their cheap price.

Good morning nairalanders...and happy new year..I just need you to tell me what to do I need an advice from you all...have been in relationship with this girl and it's gonna clock two years this year....so been watching her since last year....I'm the one that calls always...but she'd never return the call...she do call before around that last year April when things are still good..even post me do all sort of things....but when I'm little financially down everything just stopped..she'd never call if I don't call...she'd always complain she doesn't have card to call....so I was just watching her and decide to keep mute and see what's happening... around October...my business start kicking in again.. but I'm still pretending like I don't have to see what she's up to...but I send her the little i can...ever since then she doesn't just call..any little thing she'd say is over and block and come back begging again....around November last year she said she wanna learn a job and i said no problem... I talked to the girl she wanna learn cake from and she said 60k..I promised to pay..but I was just thinking if I let her do won't this girl backstab me later....she also said she wanna learn wig...which I promise to give her too..but I'm just reasoning everything.... I take very good care of this girl....I do all what she needs...we actually see on the 25th of December....whereby i gave her some money for Christmas...after 25th...she was still troubling me telling me I'm not giving her attention...whereby I channel all my attention to her...where things start mixing up was at dec 31..whereby she was disturbing me I must send her money on the 1st of January... but I decide not to just to see what she really wanna do...she never called on the 1st ....all she do is send an happy new year message and then ask for money.....so yesterday I called her and tell her we need to talk about our relationship...that it seems she's tired...she said maybe I might be tired that I'm using the trick on her..and I just have to say everything on my mind... all she do is just break up and block me...it was painful though... Sure, it is well. Trusting your gut feeling is still good. Since you don't feel them, nothing is wrong with choosing another agency.

As for the 900 euros own,I am not recommending them nor have I done any business with them. Still do your own diligent research before embarking on using any.

Lastly, do you mind to talk on how you are building your account statement? I might learn 1 or 2 things from it.

It expires definitely, which invariably means it has a time frame. It's one year, I believe. It's true 150k is not easy to come by but there are some risks worth taking that brings about breakthrough. Take that risk.

our women are very ungrateful creatures.
You won't believe the amount of effort I have put into just trying to see if things would work out between anyone I come in contact with..but I always end up getting burnt.

They are so fake! everything with them has to be a transaction.
Even the ugly and despicable ones..they have this exaggerated sense of self importance.

There's this church girl I approached several months back. Took her on several expensive dates and all.
