Last year I was following a case of a young man in Lagos who robbed and raped two girls in the same family. He left the mother because she was menstruating. Fortunately they identified him and he was arrested. The Lagos police command was treating the case as a robbery case and was about to charge to court when the AIG took it over and was negotiating settlement with the family. The family was crying for justice!
