as much i'd hate to knock thier hustle, I wont let them do that to my car. For starters you don't know what kind of detergent that is and how much damage it can do to your paintwork. secondly there's going to be a reasonable amount of soap residue after the sprinkle-rinsing...
you cannot possibly rinse a car properly with one small bucket of water.
I'd rather just dash them money.

Good evening Nairalanders, I have no idea how to go about making this as clear as possible, but truth is I married a stranger.
I met this Lady in 2012,we became friendly, and talked on consistently.
At the time she was on NYSC in Ikom cross River State. By the way she is from Obosi in Anambra state.
She was visiting me in Lagos every week, of course I paid for her flight tickets back and forth for all the times she visited till we got married and beyond. I have never let her use the bus or public transport to anywhere, it's either I drive her, she drives or a taxi.
A few months to her passing out, she told me she was pregnant, so I thought I would marry her and cut the drama short, but that was my undoing.
We got married, but all through, she spent more time with her parents and siblings.
Fast forward to 2016,my wife got a job through my sister in Abuja, and everything got worse, she wouldn't get back home till very late everyday.
Her explanation was that her boss delayed her.
I got to find out she was dating her boss later, even caught her at hotels in ikeja G. R,.A and on the island with her boss at very odd hours of the night.
Don't get me wrong, I am okay, I live in a 5 bedroom duplex in ikeja, the house is very comfortable and cosy, and almost completing my personal building at awoyaya in ibeju. i am not a poor man.
Well, she gave birth to my first child a boy, but insisted on C. S, then my daughter, through C. S too. All were elective!
She wouldn't come back home,and spent more time at her parents than in our home, always saying she needs herMum to watch the kids,while she is out, we got maids, but she was so violent with them, they all left.
Fast forward to 2017,i asked my wife to come back home, she refused, well I told her the marriage wouldn't work anymore,as she wasnt living with me for the past two years.
She immediately went and petitioned me at office of the Public defender in Lagos State citing domestic violence, irresponsibility as to my kids and stuff, I have always provided food, toiletries, medicals,as well as pay my children's school fees till this minute. But she teamed up with her Mum and brother to make up so many fabrications because they demanded I pay a stipend to them every month, and I said no, I won't do that, your daughter, my wife is in your house cos she wants to be there, not because I sent her away or anything like that.Her father is the only person who is sane, but the man is a pensioner and can't help himself much, so she treats him with intimidation She reported me to the police and all agencies you can think of, well at last they conducted their investigations and found out she was telling lies.
I am no more interested in keeping her, and she has vowed that I can't divorce her or I die, but my kids are the issue now.
I need sound advice on how to go about this.
Please no mockery, I am in dire need of good advice. Thanks.

I imported a car, and 1 of the keys got lost at Copart location in the US. So when the car arrived, it came with only 1 key which is like a spare. So I decided to make a new programmed remote key. I went to Oyingbo where they deal in Honda parts, and I called the guy who usually assist me when I’m in the market since 2014. He then called the guys who would make the key and we negotiated price. The key guys asked me to give them the key to cut. I was reluctant and I told the guy I know in the market, he too told me to give them the key to cut and said I can wait in his shop. I asked him if we are not supposed to be there when they are cutting the key, and said hope this is safe. He replied in pidgin. “Why you dey fear” “Give dem make dem go cut am”. I gave the key guys the key and I waited in his shop with him. At some point, he left his shop. But I was still there.


They cut the key successfully and then he called me that the final stage is programming. I came out from his shop and We all went to the car and it was programmed.

After the key was programmed. They tested it and it didn’t work. Then they said the engine that came with the key casing was probably bad. Then one of the key guys left to bring another engine. They put it and programmed it and it worked. Then they left with the other engine they claimed was bad.

I balanced them and they left. I asked my guy in the market, if these guys haven’t done anything shady, he replied in pidgin “for where”

I took his word because since 2014 that I’ve known him, he has been transparent in his dealings. and I left the market happy since I made the new key successfully.

Now one of my spirit is telling me that something is not right. I remembered a story I heard years back about some guys in a car wash who duplicated a customers key that dropped the car to wash, put a gps tracker, monitored the customer and stole the car.

Honestly, I’ve been restless for the past few days. I feel that they have duplicated my car key and installed a gps tracker, probably while I was waiting at the other guys shop.

One last thing is that, the vehicle has navigation. Though the navigation has not been set. I noticed a message just pops up sometime on the screen and it started after I left the market. “Vehicle is Out of Database Coverage Area”. This message has never ever showed before.

My spirit is telling me that it’s related to something about GPS. I don’t know

Linjust.com Why Innoson Withdrew His Fundamental Human Rights Case Against EFCC

There has been a lot of misinterpretation on the reason why Innoson withdrew his fundamental Human Rights case against EFCC. Most of the mis-interpretation tends to suggest that maybe there has been a settlement between Innoson and EFCC as well as GTB. We therefore want to let the general public know the real reason the suit was withdrawn.

On 20th December, 2017, Innoson filed Suit No: FHC/L/CS/1962/2017 at the Federal High Court, Lagos Division against EFCC and five others to enforce his fundamental human rights. Innoson commenced the application with a motion ex parte. The application was accompanied with an affidavit of urgency. As a result, Innoson’s lawyers enquired from the court’s registry when the case will be assigned and were asked to check the next day being 21st December, 2017. They did and on 21st December, 2017 were further asked to check on 22nd December, 2017 and also, they heeded to the directive.

Neither Innoson’s lawyers nor the bailiff of the court served GTB with the motion ex parte or any of the process in this suit. Moreover, the suit was commenced by a motion ex parte and by the rules and practice it is to be and shall be kept secret; and other party(ies) – Respondents – shall not be heard until the ex parte motion is determined.

Again, in its characteristic manner, GTB became aware of the pendency of this suit, got all the copies of the processes filed in the suit including the motion ex parte filed by Innoson’s lawyers. Also, GTB filed a counter affidavit deposed to on 21st December, 2017, got the suit assigned to a judge of its choice and got it fixed for hearing without Innoson’s lawyers knowing.

GTB’s lawyers attended the hearing of the ex parte application and therein disclosed the information stated above and as well started making submissions in respect thereto. As a result, Innoson’s lawyers withdrew the suit and Innoson is taking steps to get the judiciary as well as the Acting Chief Judge of the Federal High Court to investigate what happened – how GTB became aware of the suit and got all the processes filed therein that were not served on it.
