Jokes EtcWhat Will U Do? by losak9111(op): 2:38pm On Apr 30, 2017
"This X-ray belongs to a man whose doctors here in Nigeria told that he has a living cockroach inside him after complaining of severe chest pains and he can only be operated abroad.

He sold his house, and other properties, took loans and borrowed more money to enable him travel and pay for the treatment.

Upon reaching India, another x-ray was done, and he was told that the cockroach was inside the x-ray machine at the Nigerian hospital and not in his chest.

He was later given few prescriptions for the chest pains and discharged same day. He is doing fine now."

If you were the man, what would you do?

Stupidity is when you don’t have a bicycle and you give your last kobo to your pastor to buy a jet.......

Mumu is when you can’t pay your children’s school fees and yet have money to contribute to your church to build expensive schools which your children will never attend.....

Ignorance is when you believe it when your pastor tells you not to live a worldly life, and yet he enjoys all the best things in the world, the fine houses, cars, jets, babes etc, while you are waiting till you get to heaven to enjoy your own.....

Idiocy is when you refuse to take your very sick child to the hospital because your pastor said you should not do so, yet that same pastor secretly runs to USA for medical attention any time he has a headache....

Kolo mental is when you see a poor beggar on the road and you refuse to give him 50 Naira out of the 5000 Naira in your pocket because it is your tithe money.....

You are a zombie when you trek, dance and gallivant for 30 kilometers under the hot sun sweating and smelling like shit during your revival program, while your pastor is inside a full option, factory fitted air-conditioned state of the art SUV with his delectable wife slowly driving along the road.....

Stop worshiping your pastors!!! They are human beings like you, they don’t have no power! If they had the power they claim they have, Nigeria would not be the way it is........!

The next French President is 39 years old.
But that is not the news.

He is married to a 64 year-old, that is still not the news.
His wife was his class teacher 24 years ago...not still the news.
His then class teacher had a daughter who was his class-mate...everybody including his parents thought this teacher's daughter was his girlfriend...nope they were wrong.
He fell in love with his class teacher when he was 15...she was "happily married" with 3 kids...now the "happily married" is relative in this context.
At 17, he promised to marry her. She was at the time 42 years.
They got married in 2007 with our man now 30...well she was almost 55.
Next month he is going to be sworn-in as the President of France 6 months to his 40th birthday while his lovely wife who has 3 adult kids and 7 grandchildren (her first child is two years older than her husband while her second child, the former classmate/sweetheart is the same age as him).
His name is Emmanuel Macron (39) and he is the next President of France

Lionel Messi sentenced to 21 months in prison after being found guilty of tax fraud

Lionel Messi has been sentenced to almost two years in prison for tax fraud – but looks set to escape jail time for the offence.

The greatest player of his – and arguably any – generation and his father were both handed 21-month sentences by a Catalan court over their failure to pay £3.4 million of tax on Messi’s image rights.

Under Spanish law, sentences of less than two years for first offences are usually suspended and neither the Barcelona star nor father Jorge are expected to serve time behind bars.

However, they were fined £1.7 million and £1.3m respectively by the court, having already paid a £4.2m “corrective payment” back in 2013 after filing incomplete tax returns for the years 2006 to 2009.

'I knew nothing', says Lionel Messi at tax fraud trial

01:17

According to the prosecutor’s office for tax crimes in Catalonia, the sale of Messi’s image rights had been hidden using a complex web of shell companies in Uruguay, Belize, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

The 29-year-old has always denied any knowledge of his tax affairs, saying he “only worried about playing football”, while his father claimed he left it all up to financial advisers.

But summing up the case, the presiding judge, Mercedes Armas Galve, wrote of the five-time world player of the year: “[His] avoidable ignorance, which was derived from indifference, is not an error, and it does not remove responsibility.

“The information that the accused avoided having was, in reality, within his reach via trustworthy and accessible sources.”

It is unclear whether Messi or his father will accept the verdict or lodge an appeal with Spain’s supreme court.

Dear Umaru Musa Yar'Adua, when you were around we called you: The BAD one. The SLOW ONE. The SICK ONE.
Yes, you were sick, in fact, sick all through your administration. We all cried for your resignation at the height of your sickness. Cursing you, your first lady and your supporters (The first set of Cabals).
Asking you to die if you want to die and allow the man with all the Goodluck in this world to lead us.
We forgot that even though you were sick, you were the first Governor to have ever declared his assets publicly and you remained the only President in the history of Nigeria to have ever declare his assets publicly.
We conveniently forgot that even though you were gravely sick you were the first president to ever reduced the price of petrol in Nigeria, (From N75 to N70 and later from N70 to N65) and the economy did not collapse like the present leaders are making us believe. You even reversed the sale of our refineries.
We forgot that you didn't afflict yourself with your sickness and so could do very little about it. But we still insisted that you just have to go, so that Nigeria can finally have her chance with Goodluck.
We forgot that even though you were terminally ill, you still succeeded in solving the Niger Delta crisis which you didn't cause, but you found a solution. And even crushed d first Boko Haram uprising and caught its leader.
You gave us rule of Law, Ameachi reclaimed his mandate as Rivers governor, Andy Uba lost in court and was removed as Anambra State's Governor. Oni lost in Ekiti and was removed, Agagu lost in Ondo and was removed, Osunbor lost in Edo and was removed even though they are all
members of your party
(PDP).
Now we have seen what a healthy president has done with the country.
His Excellency President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua, may your Soul Rest in Perfect Peace.
We will forever remember you and your leadership.
Sincerely, share Around If you sincerely Care for the New Change IN Nigeria.

Germany deports ISIS suspect to Nigeria

Germany has deported to Nigeria, an alleged Islamic extremist, an ISIS suspect, deemed dangerous by authorities.

He is a German citizen, not Nigerian.

The German news agency, dpa, reports that the 22-year-old man who was born in Germany and who hadn’t committed a crime, arrived in Lagos Thursday.

The unidentified man was one of the two individuals detained in February in Goettingen during an investigation of suspected attack plans.

His partner is a 27-year-old Algerian. Both of them lived with their parents in Göttingen.

When the two men were picked up, investigators found two weapons, at least one of them a firearm, that had been altered to fire live ammunition.

Also found on them were ammunition, flags of the Islamic State group and a machete.

The man deported to Nigeria is banned from entering Germany for life.

Following attacks by Islamic extremists last year, German authorities vowed to step up deportations of foreigners deemed to be threats.

The two men, according to www.dw.com were arrested after having been under surveillance for some time.

After their arrest, the German interior ministry requested their expulsion after classifying them as a threat to national security.

Their deportation has no precedence in German history.

“We are sending a clear warning to all fanatics nationwide that we will not give them a centimeter of space to carry out their despicable plans,” said Lower Saxony’s Interior Minister Boris Pistorius, following the court ruling authorising the deportation

“They will face the full force of the law regardless of whether they were born here or not,” he added.

In the case of the Algerian, the court made his deportation conditional on assurances from the Algerian government that he would not be tortured or subjected to any inhuman treatment.

12 things forbidden in the Bible but we do it anyway

We know the bible can be pretty difficult to accurately interpret. Some people say the Old Testament laws don’t count anymore, but others think they still do. So we are asking the bible scholars for help here. We gathered some actions the bible bans both in the old and New Testaments and we’d like to know, are they still sins or not?

1. Checking babes out.

Matthew 5:28:

“But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”

2. Braiding your hair.

1 Timothy 2:9:

“Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments.”

3. Owning expensive outfits.

1 Timothy 2:9:

“Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments.”

4. Wearing gold.

1 Timothy 2:9:

“Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments.”

5. Eating Bacon or Sausages.

Leviticus 11:4 reads:

“Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.”

6. Wearing fabric blends, so basically everything in your wardrobe.

Leviticus 19:19:

“You are to keep My statutes. You shall not breed together two kinds of your cattle; you shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed, nor wear a garment upon you of two kinds of material mixed together.”

7. Gossiping about your colleagues.

Leviticus 19:16:

“Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbor; I am the LORD.”

8. Women speaking in church.

1 Corinthians 14:34:

“Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.”

9. Trimming your beard.

Leviticus 19:27:

“Neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.”

10. Eating suya; well, the fat.

Leviticus 3:17:

“It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.”

11. Tattoos; Sorry, not even one of a cross or a bible verse.

Leviticus 19:28:

“Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.”

12. Eating more than you have to.

Proverbs 23:2:

“. . . And put a knife to your throat if you are given to gluttony.”

So were these laws specific to that time or do you think they still count? Please, sound off in the comments section.

Car TalkRoad Accident: Causes, Prevention And What To Do After The Crash. by losak9111(op): 8:10am On Dec 26, 2016
Introduction
Road accidents are undoubtedly the most frequent and, overall, the cause of the most damage. The reasons for this are the extremely dense road traffic and the relatively great freedom of movement given to drivers. Accidents involving heavy goods vehicles (especially coaches and lorries with trailers) occur all too frequently despite caIls for responsible behaviour, for respect of the loading regulations and the highway code, as well as the obligation for drivers to adapt their speed, which affects stopping distances, to the traffic and weather conditions (rain, ice, fog, etc.). The prevention of road accidents is also extremely important and will be ensured by strict laws, by technical and police controls, ongoing training for drivers (especially those involved in the transport of dangerous substances) and, if need be, by legal and administrative penalties for those responsible.
Intervention and rescue measures
The control of all accidents is, in the first instance, the responsibility of the commander (chief) and personnel of the affected means of transport. It is up to them to limit the resulting damage as much as possible. Passengers must obey the directives of the personnel on board (protective and rescue measures) and behave as they are instructed by the regulations on disaster situations, especially air, rail or maritime disasters.
As far as search, rescue and assistance operations are concerned, the means or system of transport involved and the area (country) where it occurs will determine who is the person in charge at the disaster site.
The principles of intervention are as follows:
- In the case of an air disaster occurring on, or in the immediate vicinity of, an airport (generally within a 5 kilometre radius), control of the incident is the responsibility of the airport authorities since control of the air traffic is the responsibility of the airport in question and the control tower is in charge of warning the security and intervention services. They can, if need be, call upon local fire brigades and civil defence reinforcements. Generally, the special disaster rescue plans (red alert, special plans for the airport) will only be activated with the agreement of the competent political authorities.
If the incident occurs outside the area under control of the airport authorities, the political authorities of the affected area will be in charge of the deployment of local intervention teams (police, fire brigade, civil protection, health services, etc.). Control of the rescue efforts will, if necessary, be taken over by higher authorities (regional, departmental) in collaboration with experts from the aviation services and the judiciary (establishing responsibility
for the disaster, identifying victims, collection and restitution of personal belongings) and representatives of the transport company involved.
- In case of rail accidents, the alarm, reconnaissance and rescue will be controlled by the regional traffic control centre (dispatching centre) of the railways or by the nearest station.
Should the damage warrant it, the local authorities can take control of the initial intervention (first aid) by co-ordinating the action of the means available (police, fire brigade, civil defence, health services) in close collaboration with the specialist services of the company involved. Subsequently, the rescue plan or red alert for rail disasters can be activated by higher political authorities. Protection, research, rescue and assistance measures will depend upon the intervention tactics dictated by the accident and the means available.
- As regards road accidents, it is important to make the distinction between those occurring on motorways and those taking place on other roads, bearing in mind the special regulations that may govern certain communications routes or sensitive areas.
Operational control of interventions on roads is initially ensured by the traffic or rescue control centre of the motorway, which is alerted by witnesses (using the motorway telephone network) or by a police patrol. The rescue means will be supplied by the rescue centre ( traffic control) and by the neighbouring emergency services. If need be, specialists in dealing with dangerous substances (chemical or radioactive products, hydrocarbons, etc.) and the health services (helicopters, ambulances, specially trained medical personnel) can also be called upon to help. In general, a special plan drawn up as a precaution will be activated. Major accidents occurring on roads other than motorways come under the control of the political authorities of the area in which they occur, who ensure the initial intervention using the means at their disposal. In case of particularly bad accidents, namely fires or leakage of chemical substances or pollutants, a higher management level will be called upon to intervene and conduct the operations (special plans).
- Rescues in the case of maritime or river disasters follow the principles of solidarity between seafaring people and the norms of national and international maritime law. In the event of an incident, the rescue measures on board are the responsibility of the captain of the vessel whose priority should be to save the passengers and then the crew. Moreover, maritime nations generally possess a national service for the sea and navigable channels which is responsible for ensuring the supervision and security of national waters and coasts and also the organisation of rescue at sea.
Because of the specific  conditions  of navigation at sea, on lakes and rivers, interventions should be the object, in every state concerned, of special emergency plans put into action as soon as the alert is given by a chief of operations named in advance.
In case of ecological disaster (chemical and radioactive substances, hydrocarbons) the rescue and protection measures for waterways and coasts should be implemented in close collaboration with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
Instructions for the population
General precautions and cautionary measures for users of different means or types of transport
- Inform yourself on the dangers involved in using various types of transport.
- Study the regulations and suggested rules of behaviour published by the transport companies or crew (posters, written instructions, presentations).
- In case of imminent danger (emergency situation), make sure that you know the whereabouts of the protection and rescue apparatus.
When the accident occurs
- Keep calm and avoid panic; to the extent possible, help family and neighbours who are in difficulty.
- Follow the captain's (or driver's) orders and those of the crew.
- Keep identity papers and important personal documents (medical and vaccination certificates and details of blood type) and any personal medicines with you.
- As soon as the crash or shipwreck occurs, try to free yourself from the cabin and to escape quickly from the wreckage, especially if there is a danger of fire or dangerous leaks. Seek refuge at a sufficient distance.
- If possible, activate the rescue process by alerting the local security or specialist services (special telephone networks and numbers).
- In case of a major accident occurring in a road with traffic, direct the traffic whilst taking care of your own safety (signal and mark the accident spot).
- Do not touch or move the seriously wounded unless there is a risk of fire or toxic fumes.
- It is the duty of witnesses to alert the rescue services and to give them the exact location and nature of the accident, the type of vehicle involved, the characteristics (code number) of any dangerous substances and the likely number of victims. Witnesses should also give their names and addresses.
After the accident
- Keep calm and avoid panic.
- Follow the instructions of the intervening bodies and of the rescue personnel.
- If possible, and if necessary, collaborate with the rescuers and with the judicial authorities and experts in charge of the investigation.

The American Cancer Society estimates that12,990diagnoses of cervicalcancerwill be made by the end of 2016 in the United States. Over 4,000 women in the U.S. die from cervical cancer each year.
According to theWorld Health Organization(WHO), if the HPV vaccine was administered globally, hundreds of thousands of lives could be saved each year.
Since the NHS (National Health Service) Cervical Screening Program began in 1988, the rate of women diagnosed with cervical cancer in the United Kingdom has halved from 16 per 100,000 in 1988 to8 per 100,000.

Fast facts on cervical cancer
Here are some key points about cervical cancer. More detail and supporting information is in the main article.
Sincecervical screeningbegan in the U.K., cervical cancer rates have halved
In America, more than 11,000 women are diagnosed with invasive cervical cancer each year
Having many sexual partners or becoming sexually active early is a risk factor
Survival rates are good if cervical cancer is caught early
Symptoms include bleeding between periods and after sex
Causes of cervical cancer
Around 70% of cervical cancer cases are caused by HPV.
Cancer is the result of the uncontrolled division of abnormal cells. Most of the cells in our body have a set lifespan; when they die, new cells are produced to replace them. Abnormal cells can have two problems:
1.They do not die
2.They continue dividing
This results in an excessive accumulation of cells which eventually form a lump - a tumor. Scientists are not completely sure why cells become cancerous.
However, there are some risk factors which are known toincrease the riskof developing cervical cancer. These risk factors include:
HPV (human papillomavirus):a sexually transmitted virus. There are over 100 different types of HPVs,at least 13of which can cause cervical cancer.
Many sexual partners or becoming sexually active early:Cervical cancer-causingHPVtypes are nearly always transmitted as a result of sexual contact with an infected individual. Women who have had many sexual partners generally have a higher risk of becoming infected with HPV, which raises their risk of developing cervical cancer.
Smoking:increases the risk of developingmany cancers, including cervical cancer.
Weakened immune system:such as those with HIV/AIDS, or transplant recipients taking immunosuppressive medications.
Long-term mental stress:Women who experience high levels of stress over a sustained period may be less able to fight off HPV.
Giving birth at a very young age:Women who gave birth before the age of 17 are significantly more likely to develop cervical cancer compared with women who had their first baby when they were aged 25 or over.
Several pregnancies:Women who have had at least three children in separate pregnancies are more likely to develop cervical cancer compared with women who never had children.
Contraceptive pill:Long-term use of some common contraceptive pills slightly raises a woman's risk.
Other sexually transmitted diseases (STD):Women who become infected with chlamydia, gonorrhea, or syphilis have a higher risk of developing cervical cancer.
Socio-economic status:Studies in several countries have revealed that women in deprived areas have significantly higher rates of cervical cancer.
Symptoms of cervical cancer
Often, during the early stages of cervical cancer, people may experience no symptoms at all. That is why women should have regular cervical smear tests.
The mostcommon symptomsare:
Bleeding between periods
Bleeding after sexual intercourse
Bleeding in post-menopausal women
Discomfort during sexual intercourse
Smelly vaginal discharge
Vaginal discharge tinged with blood
Pelvic pain
Tests and diagnosis
The earlier cervical cancer is diagnosed, the more successfully it can be treated. Regular cervical screening can save thousands of live every year.
The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists advises that the PAP test should be carried out at the same time as the HPV test. The College emphasized that this recommendation is just for women aged30 years or more.
Experts believe that the majority of deaths from cervical cancer would be prevented if all women underwent cervical screening as recommended.
Cervical screening - LBC or Pap smear test
In the U.S., over11,000 womenare diagnosed with invasive cervical cancer each year and about 4,000 die.
The majority of these deaths could be prevented if all women had undergone cervical screening.
U.S. authorities say a female should start screening at the age of 21, or within 3 years of her first sexual encounter - whichever occurs first.
Cervical screening does not detect cancer, it simply looks for abnormal changes in the cells of the cervix. If left untreated, some abnormal cells can eventually develop into cancer.
HPV DNA test
This test determines whether the patient is infected with any of the HPV types that are most likely to cause cervical cancer. This involvescollecting cellsfrom the cervix for lab testing.
The test can detect high-risk HPV strains in cell DNA before any cervix cell abnormalities appear.
If the patient experiences signs and symptoms of cervical cancer, or if the Pap test revealed abnormal cells, the patient might undergo additional tests:
Other tests include:
Biopsy:A small section of tissue is taken under general anesthetic.
Colposcopy:A speculum is placed to hold the vagina open as thegynecologistlooks at the cervix through a colposcope - a lighted magnifying instrument.
Cone biopsy:A small cone-shaped section of abnormal tissue is taken from the cervix for examination.
LLETZ:A diathermy (wire loop with an electric current) is used to remove abnormal tissue. The tissue is sent to the lab to be checked.
Blood tests:measures number of blood cells, and can identify any liver or kidney problems.
Examination under anesthetic (EUA):This allows the doctor to examine the vagina and cervix more thoroughly.
CT scan:The patient consumes a barium drink that appears white on the scan. Just before the scan, a tampon may be placed into the vagina, and a barium liquid may be inserted into the rectum.
MRI:By using high-MRI with a special vaginal coil, a technique to measure the movement of water within tissue, researchers may be able toidentify cervical cancerin its early stages.
Pelvic ultrasound:This is a device that uses high-frequency sound waves to create an image on a monitor of the target area.
Treatments for cervical cancer
Cervical cancer treatment options include surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, or combinations. Deciding on the kind of treatment depends on several factors, such as the stage of the cancer, as well as the patient's age and general state of health.
Treatment for early stage cervical cancer - cancer that is confined to the cervix - has agood success rate. The further the cancer has spread out of the area it originated from, the lower the success rate tends to be.
Early stage cancer treatment options
Surgery is commonly used when the cancer is confined to the cervix. Radiotherapy may be used after surgery if the doctor believes there may still be cancer cells inside the body.
Radiotherapy might also be used to reduce the risk of recurrence (cancer coming back). If the surgeon wants to shrink thetumorto make it easier to operate, the patient may receive chemotherapy - however, this is not very common.
Advanced cancer
When the cancer has spread beyond the cervix, surgery is not usually an option. Advanced cancer is also referred to as invasive cancer because it has invaded other areas. This type of cancer requires more extensive treatment. The patient will typically be treated with either radiotherapy or a combination of radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
In the later stages of cancer, palliative therapy is administered to relieve symptoms and improve quality of life.
Radiotherapy
Radiotherapy is commonly used to treat advanced forms of cervical cancer. Around 40% of all cancer patients undergo some form of radiotherapy.
Radiotherapy is also known as radiation therapy, radiation oncology, and XRT. It involves the use of beams of high-energy X-rays or particles (radiation) to destroy cancer cells.
Radiation that is aimed in the pelvic area may cause the following side effects; some of them may not emerge until well after the treatment is over:
Diarrhea
Nausea
Upset stomach
Bladder irritation
Narrowing of the vagina
Interrupted menstrual cycle
Early menopause
Chemotherapy
Chemotherapy is the use of chemicals (medication) to treat any disease - in this context, it refers to the destruction of cancer cells. Cytotoxic medication prevents cancer cells from dividing and growing.
Chemotherapy for cervical cancer, as well as most other cancers, is used to target cancer cells that surgery cannot or did not remove, or to help the symptoms of patients with advanced cancer.
Cisplatin, a chemotherapy drug, is frequently used in combination with radiotherapy.
Side effects of chemotherapy can vary, and depend on the specific drug being used. Below is a list of the more common side effects:
Diarrhea
Nausea
Hair loss
Fatigue
Infertility
Earlymenopause
Clinical trials
For some patients, participating in a clinical trial may be their best treatment option. Many current treatments are the results of clinical trials. Clinical trials are an integral part of the cancer research process. Clinical trials are carried out to determine how safe and effective new treatments are, and whether they are better than existing ones.
Clinical trial participants contribute to cancer research and innovation.
Prevention of cervical cancer
There are a number of measures that can be taken to reduce the chances of developing cervical cancer.
HPV (human papillomavirus) vaccine
The link between the development of cervical cancer and some types of HPV is clear. If every female adheres to currentHPV vaccination programs, cervical cancer rates will be reduced substantially.
Safe sex
The HPV vaccine only protects against two HPV strains. There are others which can cause cervical cancer. Using a condom during sex helps protect from HPV infection.
Cervical screening
Regular cervical screening will make it much more likely that signs are picked up early and dealt with before cancer develops at all or too far.
Have fewer sexual partners
The more sexual partners a woman has, the higher the risk of developing cervical cancer.
Delay first sexual intercourse
The younger a female is when she has her first sexual intercourse, the higher the risk of developing cervical cancer. The longer she delays it, the lower her risk.
Do not smoke
People who smoke have a higher risk of developing cervical cancer than people who do not.
