AS LONGEST REIGNING OBA IN SOUTH WEST NIGERIA, OBA JAMES ADELUSI ALADESURU II (JP) THE ONIGEDE OF Igede Ekiti WILL CELEBRATES 64 YEARS CORONATION ANNIVERSARY ON THE THRONE (1959-2023) Kabiyesi, His Royal Majesty, Oba James Adelusi Aladesuru II (JP) Petu Bi Owuro, the paramount ruler of the ancient town of Igede-Ekiti kingdom and its environs ascended the throne of his progenitors on the 26th of June, 1959 at a tender age of 26. Oba J.A. Aladesuru II (JP) was born in 1933 and Crowned as 27th Onigede of Igede Ekiti on 26th June, 1959. He is a descendant of the OKIRIBITI ADEYIBAKA dynasty. He succeeded Oba Olubusi Apata from Onaowuro family who reigned between 1950-1957. Oba Agunsoyebiosupa Aladesuru (I) who was the king between (1890-1941) and his wife, Olori Johanah Ogunkolade Aladesuru who was the Eleventh wife were the parents of the king and his two siblings namely: Late Princess (Dns) Olufunmilayo Fatunla (Nee Aladesuru) and Prince John Aladebusuyi Aladesuru. Oba J.A. Aladesuru attended Baptist Central School, Igede Ekiti. He was trained as a photographer at ISEYIN between 1955 and 1956. He worked as a clerk in Upper Region Agricultural Farm ILORA near Iseyin, Oyo State between August and November 1956. He thought in PINNOCK memorial Baptist Primary School [PMPS] Via ILORA between 1957 and August 1958. He was transferred to First Baptist Primary School Ilora via Oyo as a teacher and later transferred back to Pinnock Memorial Primary School in January 1959. History has it that at the turn of making Late Oba Agunsoyebiosupa Aladesuru 1 Onigede of Igede, the father of the present strong and handsome Oba, the king, the choice was made without any election, it was a matter of bringing him home from IWOROKO EKITI where he was residing. Same thing happened to his son. While Oba J.A ALADESURU was at Ilora he did visit his friend, High Chief J. A. Olowere, the Osolo Of Igede at Ibadan. Chief Osolo during his visit to Igede was cut in the web of the struggle to have his friend installed as the King. When Chief Osolo met his friend later, he seized the opportunity to brief the Prince now the KING on the idea being muted back at home. However, the Prince i.e Oba J.A Aladesuru's reaction was as spontaneous as it was negative. He Rebuffed the offer in its totality. Highly disenchanted with the development, the Prince drafted a strongly-worded letter that he intended to send to his people at home. But God tempered his annoyance with some elements of rationality as he decided to have his letter perused by his friend before being dispatched. To his eternal credit, Chief Olowere counseled his friend against sending the letter and the latter complied. Mr J. A. Olofin (Balogun of Igede) who was then a councillor in Ado District Council as well as a member of Ekiti Divisional Council went ahead to convene an inclusive conference of all Igede people on the issue of Onigede chieftaincy in early 1959. It was held at the house of High Chief Aro Famoroti. In attendance were the High Chiefs (Agbailu) and eminent Igede indigenes. The conference main theme was "Onigede Selection and Rule of Law" At the end of the conference, a position paper endorsed by all stakeholders was prepared and forwarded to the Western Regional Government in Ibadan for necessary approval. Apart from Mr Olofin, other known indigenes of Igede who played notable roles included Chief Mrs J. A. Fatunla, Mr E. O. D. Adedipe and Mr S. A. Fajemilehin and Chief J. O. Osuntokun, the then Minister of Local Government in the Western Region also made a valuable input. Government approval of Prince James Adelusi Aladesuru as the Onigede-elect finally came very early in 1959. On the receipt of the official letter of approval from the government, the Enumo met and fixed the crowing ceremony of the Onigede for 26th June, 1959. But the greatest task remained getting the Prince to accept the offer. The clarion call to bring the Prince home got intensified in all quarters. Indeed, it became the dominant issue in public discourse in the town and in any gathering of sons and daughters of Igede outside the town. At a point in time, one of the Princes who had earlier been sensitized by Chief Ogundana decided to bell the cart. His name was Prince Simeon Aladesuru. Because of the sensitivity of the mission to be accomplished, i.e bringing home his brother, he had to prepare very well. In this wise, his sense of history, versatility and experience all combined, put him in good stead to accomplish the task. Thus, with the letter of appointment of his junior brother as Onigede carefully tusked inside his traveling bag, Prince Simeon headed for Ilora. On Monday, 8th June 1959, he arrived at his destination. Coincidentally, he saw his brother a distance away going out with a view to executing an assignment given earlier to him by his church. The naming ceremony of a newly born baby to a co-church member was to take place and he had been assigned to lead the solemn ceremony. On sighting his visitor, the Prince's eyes were enveloped with darkness and uncertainty. He was thoroughly confused. Though he had not been told, but he already knew the likely reason for the visit of the least-expected august visitor. All the same, the message was finally delivered to him and despite the initial mixed feelings with which the young Prince received the message, he finally bowed to the verdict of fate. He summoned courage and went ahead to perform the initial planned naming ceremony of a co-church member. Very early the next day, Tuesday, June 9, 1959, the two Princes set out for Igede en route Ibadan. But throughout the period that the journey lasted, it was a gory tale of emotional pains for the would-be Onigede. For once, he felt quite nostalgic for Ilora and the good times he had had in the community and on the other hand, he looked at the challenges posed by the task ahead with trepidation. But the situation in Igede was at variance with his expectations when he and his half brother arrived the town later on the day. As a matter of fact, his anxieties fizzled away when they got home as they were welcomed ceremoniously by the people of the town. Immediately Kabiyesi was crowned, he became a rallying point of Local Government administration and took effective control of his chiefs and the entire people of Igede. The age groups were coordinated and strengthened, while Elegbes and the war veterans of Igede were encouraged to hold their meeting regularly. Kabiyesi elevated some deserving chiefs to Enumo status to ease his administration. The 64 eventful years reign of Kabiyesi has no doubt brought remarkable and visible progress, development and lofty achievements and attitude to various segments, including but not limited to development in Education, Health care delivery, Sanitation, Politics, Social-cultural life, road network, commercial and infrastructure. These have advanced tremendously in the last 64 years of his reign. What do you think ![]() "You sleep in a hotel comfortably and leave your driver to sleep in the car. Early morning you sit at the owner's corner and yell at your horse to drive carefully. You effectively handed your life over to a stressed human, whose sleep was not comfortable. Blame your educated brain in case you guys have accident". Your Children are doing well in their Private Schools in the City, but ur maid was impregnated by one useless man while she was in the Village, the young lady had left the daughter at home with her aged mother before coming to Urban area for her livelihood, yet the child left at home couldn't go to Public school because u do deprive her the little salary u are paying. If one day,one of ur children comes to spend weekend with you and the lady gives him Poison, don't blame the maid, but blame the devil in u. Ika ni e,no other name best suitable for u. You are one of the sponsors of ur pastor's Child ,who is studying abroad,u also contributed 80% to the new Church auditorium, while Ur mother is still LAPO 's client at home just because of ur sibling's School fees ,all in name of sowing seeds. You will definitely reap evil because you are the real definition of elelesinrin. Yours is not different from pharisees. Most times when we walk into big malls, boutiques, supermarkets, we never question their prices. We pay exactly what we see on the price tags and even hand out tips to the staff. And sometimes exchange contacts. But the moment we are out of these shops and want to buy banana, corn etc by the roadside, our bargaining game gets off to the roof. Poor widow with 12 hungry children at home tells you banana is N100. She even take out her time to explain how difficult it was for her to even buy it, how the economy is so tough. But we insist that if it's not N50, we are not paying. Some of us even step back into our cars and make to drive away. But because 'half bread is better chin chin', this woman is forced to call you back and sell to you at little or no gain. In her heart, she cries, she's worried about how she'll survive with her children. She silently reassures herself that 'It's well. God will definitely provide.'' While you happily chop the luscious banana. Take some seconds out and think about this. I'm always moved to tears when I see people who genuinely and helplessly hawk petty goods to feed and survive for that day, especially women and children. And I sometimes give them little coins without buying anything from them which has attracted blessings. Can't forget a day after buying boli at Ifaki-Ekiti, I dashed the old woman, Just #400,the next I could hear from her was,''my son,any day kidnapers come after u, miraculously,u would escape." I looked at her and said which kind prayer is this, because I never witnessed kidnapping attempt, but surprisingly, just 3 days after, kidnappers stormed my residence, they captured me,but how they didn't succeed in taking me away or killed me remains Miracle. Please don't bargain hard with small vendors especially roadside hawkers/traders. They do business not to buy designer bags, trendy phones and watches, Gucci shoes and designer clothes but to LIVE and EAT for that day and the children share the remaining money to take to school the next day (if any left). "He who gives to the poor makes the surest saving for the Hereafter.". *Think about it* Good morning all. |
I think that is the reason you don't allow your congregation to ask questions during your school service sermon, brainwashed is the key Dtruthspeaker: |

Question: Good morning sir please let me understand the advantages and disadvantages for man that usually drink the Brest of a woman when they were making sex together? Reply: As a medical person there are several advantages and little disadvantage of a man sucking his wife's breast however the following are some of the advantages of it: 1. *When a man sucks the breast, your hormones are stimulated and eventually you get that heavenly feeling one gets while having sex. One great thing God created in human being is orgasm. Women are not quick in getting orgasm but with the help of breast sucking, the orgasm is felt as quick as possible.* 2. *Breast milk isn’t only meant for meant for babies but also quite beneficial for adults too… It increases an adult’s immunity just like it does in children* 3. *AIDS IN ACHIEVING A FIRMER FACE, SMOOTHER SKIN* 4. *It is a natural remedy that stimulates the immune system resulting in the production of antibodies that can protect against viruses. This process is called CROSS IMMUNO THERAPY.* 4. *REDUCES RISK OF BREAST CANCER Study has shown that sucking and massaging the breast simultaneously and vigorously helps to reduce chances of breast lumps which can develop to cancer* To mention but few sucking lady's breast is both beneficial to man and woman *disadvantages of breast sucking* 1. Where the Lady or wife is not hygienic then man is at the risk of absorbing flesh dirt which increases the body cholesterol of the man |
MaxInDHouse:Jesus didn't talk much about marriage, so far you are doing it in the right way. Our culture accept even other people culture |
Polygamy is not sin and will never be sin, so far you do it in right way sir MaxInDHouse: |
[quote author=MaxInDHouse post=120021312]All dead humans are in Hell now because Hell (Grave) is the end of all sinners {Psalms 9:17} and since all humans have sinned and fallen short of God's glory {Romans 3:23} anyone dead in the past are all in Hell! Ecclesiastes 9:5-10 The one and only human who died was buried and returned from Hell is Jesus of Nazareth, he is now alive and forever will he continue to be alive! Act 2:31 Whoever wants to live forever after resurrection must seize the opportunity to make Jesus his/her role model {John 3:16} that is the one and only human approved from God to teach us how we can gain everlasting life! Matthew 17:5 Though Jesus never got married so what has Jesus got to do with this case as our role model? 1Peter 2:21 Jesus referred all his listeners to the standard God set in the beginning regarding marriage {Matthew 19:4} God's standard in the beginning is ONE Adam= ONE Eve! Genesis 2:24 [/Yes, you are right Jesus didn't married when he came to the world and in your own point of view that everyone that married more than a wife is a sinner? Come think of it Abraham, Isaac, Esau, Solomon etc are sinners and they are in hell as you have said?] |
BOOM POLYGAMY! POLYGAMY!! POLYGAMY!!! You will all agree with me that one of the most controversial word in Christiandom today is POLYGAMY Are you a religious scholar? a Pastor? a Theologian? a born again Christian?.......? Please, feel free to constructively contribute, castigate, correct, admonishe, advice, preach........in accordance with the provisions of the Holy Bible (the word of God) Before I go further, I will like you to have the following questions at the back of your minds. 1). Who was the first person to engage in the act of POLYGAMY according to the Bible? 2). Is POLYGAMY a sin in the Bible? 3). Did God in the Bible condemn POLYGAMY? 4). Those that according to the Bible engaged in POLYGAMY, are they in Hell? 5). What is the fate of the polygamous Children according to the Bible? 6). Is marriage a traditional act or religious act? 7). Why do Christians condemn POLYGAMY? 8. What are the effects of POLYGAMY in Christiandom? 9). Has God changed? GEAR 1 Lamech was the first man to marry more than one wife, Gen 4:19 GEAR 2 Godly/Holy persons that engaged in POLYGAMY according to the Bible included Abdon, Judges 12:13-14; Abijah, 2 Chronicles 13-21; Abraham, Gen 16-1-3, Gen 25:1; Ahab, 1 kings 20:1-3; Ahaseurus, Esther 1:9, Ashur, 1 Chronicles 4:5, Belshazzar, Daniel 5:2, Ben-Hadad (who married Ahab's wives), Caleb, 1 Chronicles 2:18-19, David (had 8wives), 1 Samuel 18:27, 25:39, 25:42, 2 Samuel 3:5, 5:13, 12:7-8, 12:24. Eliphaz, Gen 36:11-12. Elkanah, 1 Samuel 1:1-2 Esau, Gen 26:34 Ezra, 4:17-18; Gideon, Judges 8:30....and many more. We had not fewer than 40 Godly and ungodly men that engaged in POLYGAMY from the Bible. Also, we had not less than 43 POLYGAMY cases from the Bible. GEAR 3 Had God condemned POLYGAMY? No! God NEVER did In all the POLYGAMY cases mentioned in the Bible, God did not condemn any axcept David who snatched Uriah's wife. God said to David ' in 2 Samuel 12:8; I gave your master's house to you, and your master's wives into your arms. I gave you the house of Israel and Judah. And if all this had been too little, I would have given you even more." Why did God himself say so to David? GEAR 4 Is POLYGAMY a sin? Those that engage in POLYGAMY are they in hell? Is Abraham in hell? (Luke 16:19-31) Is Jacob in hell? Is David, Solomon, Elkanah, Ezra.....@all, in hell? GEAR 5 Does God permit POLYGAMY? The answer of course is Yes! In Genesis 21:10, God said If he (man) marries another woman, he must not deprive the first one of her food, clothing and marital rights. In 2 Samuel 12:8. God Himself said to David ,"...I gave you your master Wives,. if you need more, I would have given you" GEAR 6 What is the fate of the polygamous children? Condemned or Favoured? Why was Joseph, Samuel, Solomon.... Highly favoured? GEAR 7 Before religion there was marriage. Gen 1:26-28, Gen 2:18-25 The issue of Monogamy was purely the tradition of the western world whom were our religious colonial masters. In the land of the White, traditionally, rivalry is a taboo. But the Jews (Israelites) and the Edomites (the blacks) shares the same tradition. A widow is not allowed to be seen in the Street, but be remarried to their husbands relatives or friends, Gen 38. GEAR 8 Why do Christians and the west now condemn the act of POLYGAMY? The new testament may completely be the reason as it has responded almost seamlessly on POLYGAMY matters. The new testament talks about every aspect of Christian living except POLYGAMY. Mathew 19:3-9, Jesus spoke about God initial plan for man. He actually condemned divorce but did not mention POLYGAMY. Paul admonishment to Timothy on the act and how to elect Church leadership, just like the case of levites of old (Moses...), 1 Timothy 3. The point of contention here is, If there were no men with more than a wife in the Church, Paul Won't have mentioned it. Also in 1 Corinthians 7:39. GEAR 9 Effects of POLYGAMY: POLYGAMY has it merits and demerits in the society and Christiandom at large. 1). In the Society, the imMortality rate is high in the female folks compared to men. The number of girls birth rate is higher than that of men, and the number of men dead rate is higher than that of women. The number of widows keep increasing geometry adding up to the number of single women in the society. This leads to increase of infidelity, adultery, fornication in the society compared to the days of our forefathers. So pathetic nowadays to see young single girls fighting with widows and women old to be their mum for the ownerships of a guy. 2). MONOGAMY has caused reduction in the population in the Christiandom. God says in Gen 1:28 'God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground'. But what do we have today? Christians going into family planning. The Israelites lived 430yrs only in Egypt, but Pharaoh became scared because of their rapid growth in population. I can't imagine that would happen if they were practicing Family planning Monogamy 3). There's increase in population of the youth. Very soon Our children, particularly daughters (that we are trying to protect today) will be used as sex slaves because monogamy would have denied them an opportunity to marry. C.) There are millions of stranded women in the South and, may not likely get an husband forever because of argument against polygamy; whereas hardly can a women be stranded in the North; thanks to polygamy.. GEAR 10 Has God Changed? God of Adam, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, .....the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, is the beginning and the end, the Alfa and Omega, He is the same yesterday, today and for ever; has not changed. CONCLUSION What is the way out? Christians don't be "Paul when he was Saul' Pastors, be careful what you preach on the pulpit about POLYGAMY as what you preach, instead of becoming light, rather, it is destroying Christianity Hosea 4:6, 4:6 my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. "Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children. May the lord add blessing to this teaching... AMEN |

NIGERIAN MYTHS: A FOOTBALL MATCH BETWEEN INDIA AND NIGERIA (INDIA 99 -1 NIGERIA)! Did India really beat Nigeria 99-1 in a football match? It is safe to say most people born into a Nigerian home are born into a thousand tales about things, events, animals. And some of such tales are false. Nigerian societies are full of tales passed down from generation to generation. The motives behind these stories (myths and folktales) were usually not to mislead but to teach children morals. Today, with the help of fact-checking, myths have been identified as wings with which fake news and falsehood fly around societies. A lot of Nigerians have heard about the legendary football match, the one between Nigeria and India where the latter allegedly defeated Nigeria 99 to 1. (That is India 99, Nigeria 1). It was said that Nigeria scored its only goal, the balls were turning into different creatures (fire, lion, stone) preventing the Nigerian team from kicking them. Samuel Okwaraji, who later risked his life to score a goal for his country, lost his life in the process. Consequently, FIFA banned India from soccer. Was there ever a match like this? No. A Keyword search revealed some articles suggesting that the match never happened. In this internet age (JET WORLD), all attempts at unraveling the mystery behind such a momentous match have proved abortive as we couldn’t find any footage of such football match. How did Samuel Okparaji died? The sad event occurred on a tension-soaked Saturday, 12th August 1989, during a make or mar Italia 1990 World Cup qualifier match, between the Green Eagles and Angola. The pulsating encounter was held at the National Stadium, in Surulere, Lagos. Okwaraji collapsed in the 77th minute of that match and later died at age 25 of congestive heart failure. An autopsy showed that he had an enlarged heart and high blood pressure. Why has India been off the radar? Since the first World Cup tournament which was held in Uruguay 1930, India only qualified for the World Cup tournament once – 1950. And this was because, with the only slots available from Asia, Philippines, Indonesia and Burma who also got the invites withdrew before the qualification round, leading to India automatically earning a spot. But the Indian football governing body, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) decided against going to the world cup, being unable to understand the importance of the event at that time and some of the reasons shown by the AIFF included the cost of travel, lack of practice time, team selection issued and valuing the Olympics over the FIFA World cup. It should be noted that FIFA agreed to bear a major part of the travel expenses, but it did not really help their decision making. After the 1950 fiasco, India has never come close to qualifying for the World Cup. The reason you do not see India in World Cup competitions is because they do not qualify. Has Indian participated in any International Football Competition? Yes. (Olympics) The 1948 London Olympics was India’s first major international tournament, where a predominantly barefoot Indian team lost 2 -1 to France. An Indian team last participated in the Olympics Games was in 1960 when they lost 2-1 against Hungary, Drew 1-1 against France and lost 3-1 against Peru. India's best appearance was at the 1956 Summer Olympics where the team reached the semi-finals where they lost 4-1 against Yugoslavia. Was India Banned For Refusing To Play Barefoot? No. The 1948 London Olympics was India’s first major international tournament, where a predominantly barefoot Indian team lost 2 -1 to France. In this Olympics, India were the toast of the world as 8 out of their 11 players played the match barefoot. Following the match, the Indian skipper Talimeren Ao said "Well, you see, we play football in India whereas you play Bootball." The quote immediately made headlines, making Ao a star overnight. Following the 1948 Olympics, FIFA imposed a rule banning barefoot play. Does The Indian Team Wear Soccer Boots? Yes. In the 1952 Olympics, the Indian team lost 10-1 to Yugoslavia. As a result of this magnanimous defeat, the AIFF made it compulsory for Indian team to start wearing boot. Has FIFA ever banned India from all football activities? Yes. Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA), the world governing body, banned the All India Football Federation (the governing body of football in India) on August 15, 2022, after “flagrant violations of the FIFA statutes” because of “undue influence from third parties”. Just 11 days after, the Bureau of the FIFA Council lifted the suspension that was imposed on the All India Football Federation (AIFF) and that the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup 2022 scheduled to take place on 11-30 October 2022 will be held in India as planned. Last India World Cup qualifier matches 5/09/2019 - India 1-2 Oman 15/10/2019 - India 1-1 Bangladesh 14/11/2019 - Afghanistan 1-1 India 19/11/2019 - Oman 1-0 India 29/03/2021 - United Arab Emirates 6-0 India ♻️Recent Competitions SAFF Championship - Final 16/10/2021 - India 3-0 Nepal AFC Asian Cup Qualification (Third Round) 8/06/2022 - India 2-1 Cambodia 14/06/2022 - India 4-0 Hong-Kong 27/09/2022 - Vietnam 3-0 India. losak9111:

MY NAME IS TOMORROW. I own a company, none of my staff knew me as the owner except the Manager and the Secretary. (I had told them not to disclose my identity).* *I don't usually go for a visit.* *One day, I visited the company and I saw my Ex wife, who had thrown me out of my own house. I asked the Manager and he said she is one of their staff.* *I instructed the Manager to promote her to Personnel Officer, gave her a car, a bungalow, garden boy, security and other emoluments. An undeserved position though, of which he did.* *A month later, I went there as a job seeker. As soon as she saw me with my application and CV, she rejected me outright, threw my application at my face, and immediately retrieved it from the floor and tore it to pieces and threw it into the waste bin. After regaling me with all my past, she informed me I would never get employment nor an opportunity at the company. Also, she swore on heaven and the earth that all this would happen. She boldly declared that the only way I’d get employment at the company was over her cold dead body*. *I came the following day with another application and went on my knees to beg her, but she refused and spat into the waste bin and said even if I was the only bridge to cross to come to work, she would opt for a boat and called the security men to throw me out, so I left.* *One day, I went to the company in my real identity and entered her office with the Manager who introduced me to her, she quickly knelt down crying and begging me, "the proposed rejected bridge.” She informed me that her entire family depended on her for survival. If her employment was terminated, she added, life would be absolutely horrendous not only for her but also her entire family. She even promised to remarry me.* *We both stood there motionless and speechless which left the Manager befuddled.* *Many things started racing in my head. Should I call for the police? Should I strip her of her current position to her former position? Should I cancel the unqualified benefits given to her? Should I accept such a woman back?* *I'm still standing at her office indecisive.* *If you were in my shoes, what would you do?* *THERE IS TOMORROW* *Whenever you are dealing with people, you must always remember that there is tomorrow and you might néed them tomorrow. You may end up needing help from the people who are asking for your help today, so help as much as you can.* *Life is like a moving wheel, sometimes you are up and sometimes you are down.
