No one thought of this as deterrent to corruption even in the past. This is a classical case of thinking outside the box by BAT. It is system that stops corruption. If you implement a proper system and consequences for corruption, it will be reduced drastically. |

alizma: Well said. If not for the Muslim Muslim choice by Tinubu, many Christian leaders and their members would have remain quite, show no interest in the election till after 2023 election, then they would have returned to complain about bad government or so. Has Nigerian Christians ever been this active towards election? Despite complaining about Tinubu's choice, have you heard any of them talking about how Tinubu will win if he chooses a Christian VP? No, the focus is just on why not a Christian VP? Unfortunately that is not how politics works, you have to do your proper calculation and position yourself to win, it is base of facts not emotional judgement. Tambuwal stepped down for Atiku not because he hate his friend, Wike but because he felt as a party, they stand a better chance with Atiku than Wike and any politically informed and unbiased Nigerian know very well that is true. So for me, it was just as Fayemi has put it, it is more of a political calculation than any other thing. In reality APC have underestimated Christian vote. They have calculated that it is Muslim vote that is of greater importance. The onus is on CAN to prove them wrong. CAN MUST aggressively campaign against this Muslim Muslim ticket or risk Ceding the country to Muslims for ever. |

We should stop this woke attitude, as big as neymar and Messi their parent and siblings are cashing out big time from agent work and we never hear story like this Imagine the number of persons that think it is ok for him to take his contract and agent money together...lol. The problem of this country is greedy citizens. Agent fee is not his money and not his sweat. Giving your own inlaw less than 20% of the agent transaction...smh. This is 100% victors transfer deal....how can u say Victor is not entitled to money involved in his own transfer deal....
.which work did the agent do that he's claiming wages?? Can you listen to yourself? Are they not paying Victor his salary? Does FIFA rules allow Victor to pocket both His salary and agent fees? Is it legal? It is not Victors sweat. A transfer deal has rules and Victor is well aware of the rules. The question i will ask you is what do messi father do as his agent to his son? He is not Entitled to agent fees. He is entitled to his salary and other things he accepted during negotiations. The average Nigerian citizen is worst than Government officials. |

FirstSon01: As the general elections draw nearer, the citizens look forward to choosing an amiable leader to take the reins of the nation and provide succor to the populace amid the lingering economic, security, religious and ethnic crisis in Nigeria. A leader that can save Nigeria has emerged. His name is Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the best candidate in the three main parties.
Why you need to vote for Atiku/PDP.
We in the PDP have seen all it takes to move Nigeria forward and our candidate reflects it.
1) Atiku is not tribalistic or religiously inclined. The other two candidates are very tribalistic and religiously inclined. PO drove northerners from Anambra, they've not forgotten. Tinubu feels christians are inconsequential but Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is a unifier, he married an Igbo Christian wife and has many youths, and a diverse community of people around him.
2) Atiku promulgated the new electronic electoral laws which produced a free and fair system.
3) Atiku us a seasoned businessman who's personal business has done way better than the other candidates. And he did it without using public funds. He hasn't being in power for about 20 years now, he has no political godson that's remitting to him, but he's still rich. He didn't owe workers salaries and save government money in his personal bank. He's not using public funds to bankroll his family.
4) Atiku is smart. He's resource oriented, that's why he doesn't make appointments based on political capabilities but on mental capabilities. That's why he chose Peter Obi in 2019 and Okowa now ahead of Nyesom Wike who is my political leader.
5) Atiku has the best chance to wrestle power from the APC and it's terrible ideologies.
Vote Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for president 2023! There is no difference between APC and PDP. PDP never thought of proper Electoral laws until they lost power. How did Atiku promulgated Electoral laws from Dubai? |

Henceforth, APC needs to focus on more cogent things during their campaign. Talk about Tinubu's achievements in Lagos'
In fact, if I were Tinubu, I would mention emphatically that Peter Obi lives in the Lagos I governed and then, proceed to list my legacies in Lagos Such as Lekki seaport, Eko Atlantic, Lekki trade zone, BRT, millennium schools, enormous increase in Lagos revenue etc
They should also emphasize on the fact that Tinubu has never taken any federal position hence no one should blame him over what he has no hand in.
Also emphasis should be laid on competency and how it should always take the cake, not religion. Besides, Tinubu is a liberal leader. Muslim Muslim ticket cannot fly no matter how you paint liberal |
