I am so happy with the way INEC has improved. The news media try to use vote buying to discredit a well conducted Election. We no longer hear outright rigging but Vote buying. This good for our democracy because it means your vote counts. The person selling vote and going to the media to say I sold my vote...lol what name can we give to such person?

Ekiti folks said the same thing going into their gubernatorial, but we all saw what played out. There's no way vote sellers will pay you without tendering evidence of voting their party in an election.
As we speak, phones are still being allowed into polling booths, so how on earth is it possible to collect money and still vote your conscience in this country?
The onus is on the security agencies to arrest both vote sellers, and those who come to the polling booths with mobile phones. Under no reason, should anyone be allowed to show-off their forms at the centre.
But, omo, no matter how hard we try, this country always ensures that there is a gulf between 'what is' and 'what should be'.
In anycase, Osun people will face the consequences of their actions and inactions at the polls today. That needs to sink into the heads of those eager to collect these blood monies in the name of chopping national cake.

There is an improvement from INEC. The focus of the discussion has shifted from outright rigging to vote buying/Inducement. The next step is sensitization. It is obvious that INEC has made progress and we must continue to Commend INEC.

Paying tithe is not a law my brother. It is a principle that was practiced before the existance of Moses who gave the children of Israel the law.

Abraham was the first person who practiced the principle that why the Bible recorded in Hebrew that levite payed tithe while in Abraham loins.

Then Jacob was the second when he promised God in bethel that if God prospers him he will give God the tithe. The principle now became a general practice in lsreal so it not a law.

The levites were the only people that are qualified to receive the tithes because of their priesthood.

If you are saying this what will say about the law of divorce that Moses gave and Jesus said it was not right.

And mind you Jesus didn't not condemn tithe he only rebuke them of emphasising more on tithing and refusing to talk about the weigher matters.

Abraham never gave tithe of his income. Abraham gave tithe from the spoils of war. It is very misleading to equate a tenth of spoils of war to a tenth of your income.
At best Abraham gave a gift of a tenth of the spoils of war. It is false teaching to equate that to Abraham tithing.
There is no place in the Bible that showed that Jacob fulfilled his vow...In Genesis 28 Jacob had a dream and when he woke up from the dream he made a VOW. Jacob has been having income before he slept and had that dream. There was no record of Jacob paying tithe from his income. He made a vow that if God will give him those things he revealed to him in that dream. He will give a tenth of it to God. The vow was not his income but on strictly the land that God promised to give to him and his descendants. There is no record of him fulfilling this vow. It is misleading for you to say Jacob paid tithe when there is no record of him actually paying tithe and zero record of him even fulfilling the vow.
Tithe is not a principle as you claimed. It is law for the Israelite. Read the book of leviticus and you will understand the laws given to the isrealite. They were strictly under a law to tithe because the levites so not have inheritance or land or anything.
Finally Jesus did not commend tithing except the word Woe in your English Dictionary means commendation...lol. Jesus only added the last part of that verse simply because he was under the law. Condemning tithing outrightly would have been blasphemy. The only place Jesus talked about tithe was stating clearly that is not a weightier matter and specifically downplaying it and showing it is less important but Christians today totally disagree with Jesus.
