Its a private company and inworkinwork 10hrs daily. The reference letter has 10hrs daily. I have updated my profile to 50hrs weekly. The only issue i have is that my score increased from 1008 to 1033. I want to attach an LOE too stating ii mistakenly quoted the hours per day rather than per week. Will this be termed misrepresentation? My score did not go below the cut off either.

That's fine then

I just went through the work hours on IRCC. I claimed 3yrs and the total hours is 1440 which is not up to 1yr. I was supposed to write 50hrs, i am really confused

35-40 hours a week is ideal. What was in your RL?

Seniors in the house i need help please. When i created my profile, i mistakenly selected 10hrs as working hours per week thinking its per day. I got nomination and invitation to apply. I spotted this error just when i was about to submit my application. I tried adjusting the hours and noticed that my score increased by 25points, which is above my ITAITA score. Do i adjust it or leave it as it is and write an LOE to that affect. My reference letter stated the correct number of hours when i submitted to my province and got nomination.
The second option. Leave it that way with LOE for peace of mind. Thank God you noticed it before submitting, it would have gotten you a rejection for misinterpretation or maybe an ADR of the VO is kind.

Hello Everyone,

I have an HND and Bsc , My ielts results L 7.5, R 7.5, W 7.5, S 7.5 . i have over four years experience as an Executive administrator , 30 years of age and i just checked my crs score its 405 , can this fly for canada express entry . Also my score was higer than this in January , i wonder what changed .

Your age changed. If you can rewrite IELTS and max out, that would boost your score. It can fly for PNP if you're lucky. Alberta selects from 300 but it depends if they select your noc. Do your research on PNPs

Hmmm…owo jona!!

Lol, I don't understand this but I'm thinking it's related to money. I think she shouldn't consider the money lost but avoid delay and complication, she should withdraw, IMO. I've also wasted money in this journey but at the end, leaving this "trenches" is the goal.

She has applied but it hasn’t been issued yet. Capture is pending.

If she hasn't captured, she can ask them if her request can be cancelled. I think that should be possible.

Good evening my nairaland family...

Please I need a guide on the Canada fsw.

Our point is low...

Hubby 35, BSc, MSc, engineering, 5years work experience

Wife 35, Hnd, computer science, 7years work experience.

No personal fund for POF but we have sponsors

Married with two kids.

How can we get a ppr?

Thank you

The both of you should write ielts and do your ECA, whoever is your sponsor should gift you the money and send to any of your accounts now (the earlier the better), enter the pool with what you have, hopefully you'll be selected by a province (fingerscrossed) then while you're waiting, you can consider learning French to boost your score for hubby.

Hello House,

Please i just received the attached email and want to confirm if this is PPR.

I particular about step 1 cos i have sent webforms to indicate my newborn and my profile has been updated to include my baby. i also proactively sent all the documents for my baby when my ADR for schedule A, PCC and POF were requested. The status for additional documents currently reads "not applicable". My question is, should i ignore the step 1 and submit all passports?

Also, i live in lagos, which VO would be advisable to send my passports to?

Lastly, there is also a request to take passport photographs at a commercial studio. Any recommendations?

Congratulations!! I don't think you need to worry if your baby has been added already. You can send all your passports

Hi. Congratulations once again and your landing gist was an interesting read. I know you've said this once or twice, but just to confirm;
1. Are you saying if one is fully vaccinated, there's no need for the 72hr covid testing before boarding?
2. Can you advise if this is only applicable to Ethiopian airways or if it cuts across other airlines as well

Thanks in advance

It's for everyone who is fully vaccinated. It was effective as of April 1st. No more pre-arrival test for fully vaccinated travellers.

You can go ahead and submit your application with an LOE and stating the available date you've booked for your medicals. When you finally do, raise a webform and submit the emedicals sheet it would be updated on your profile.

Hello my fellow nairalander family and friends. A silent member, please help me all. I always saw people bringing family issues here until I personally fell into same trap today.

Please my people am at crossroads and I need advice, bring it all on pls. I would like to know why my husband of 10years would save chats , screenshots of our whatsapp messages when we quarrel and I mouth off to him. I mostly dont even go back nor remember such episodes. However I just said let me check his pictures randomly and lo and behold screenshots of all our personal messages? We have kids together and there has been cheating on his part in the past. I have forgiven and forgiven but seeing my messages saved as screenshots broke me.

We have good chats too but I didnt see any of that so it was specifically done. Elders and colleagues please help me out. Thank you all

I checked and it just states work experience... attached is the help information of the place holder

Please raise a webform and state it was a mistake or misunderstanding. That's a Canadian work experience. Spouse's work experience doesn't count except it's Canadian. If you checked your score before submitting, you'd notice there was an increase

Okay. Whichever persons score is higher should be used. But please both of you should evaluate your degrees and write your ielts

@Lotusgoddess
Thanks for your point, nice one. When I checked my Degree Equivalency on WES, noticed Bsc is the minimum they can evaluate, so I couldn't test her National Diploma, infact her polytechnic didnt come up when I searched the institution.

No, WES evaluates national diploma and if she has both OND, and HND, then it's an advantage. It's not a must that her school must show, just try please. Why isn't she the PA cos I'm guessing she's younger?

If you can make her the PA, evaluate her OND and HND, it would give her the score for two it more certificates. Then let her write ielts as well. The only thing that might prevent her from being the PA is work experience

@ednut1
Thanks for prompt response. Yes, I'm working on Manitoba PNP and I have Bsc with over 7 years work experience in a field, once that goes through with the 600 points, I feel there wont be need for her Diploma ECA and IELTS. Except you are saying asides the CRS points, both the principal applicant and spouse MUST do ECA and IELTS each to get any job in Canada.

Lol, please if you have the means to improve your scores, do it. You can't be 100% sure of Manitoba. Even if you are, adding your wife's credentials would only increase your chances

Is anyone here facing the same issue, I have been trying to pay for WES using my debit card but normal debit card and online card(flutterwave) all to no avail. I heard there's a cbn policy limiting amount to be spent in dollars. Has any one here been able to maneuver it?

Create a virtual dollar card and fund it with the naira card on flutterwave. I paid for someone on Tuesday at 588 that's about 122k approximately.

Hello house. Please I have a question that has been bothering me.
When I created my profile initially I didn't add my spouse as employed due to no additional points would be awarded. After getting ITA she insisted I add her employment which I updated when submitting and we attached the reference letter. Could this be an issue?

I hope you filled it on her personal history not work experience that would earn you a point? If it's a Canadian work experience, then it's fine, if it's not, then that's a problem. I don't know what you can do at this point, maybe raising a webform and submitting LOE stating your mistake might help, idk

Hi Hi!

Tried calling today with fongo, got cut off when it was about 3 minutes to my turn, I'll give it a try again. Out of curiosity, do you know if the agents usually give details on status of security, eligibility? Or they'll just give the same update as we get when we log in to our profile?
Thanks

They give full details on every stage, the ones passed, the ones pending and not started so far the agent is in a good mood, lol. But most people I know got every detail they needed

Thanks a lot Tyola! Appreciate the wishes too.
This is such huge relief.

For the GCMS, I sent a mail to CAIPS (the agency I used), this is my third or fourth follow up and they're quite prompt to respond (usually within 48hours), stating that they are also shocked by the delay from IRCC. They confirmed that they've received all my details and are waiting for response.

I don't really know my VO as I've never received any GCMS notes or updates that showed this. Is there any other way to know one's VO?

I think you can call ircc to know your VO and current application status

I was hoping my first post here will be my PPR gist.
So, I received ADR Feb 24 for PCC, Schedule A and remed.
Submitted PCC and schedule A Feb 28 and it was acknowledged the next day.
Did medical March 5 and MEP was March 13.
The number of times I've refreshed my mail in the past one week is more than I've done in the long 1year wait.
I just want to know if it is normal to have this long wait time considering almost everybody with similar ADR has gotten PPR.
Also, is there any other thing I can do rather than wait?

@Graciousworld, I respect you

It will come any moment from now. Keep calm. Highest next week. Congratulations in advance
