TV/MoviesRe: Nigerian American Wannabees in Nollywood Movies by LoverBwoy(m): 8:58pm On Jan 12, 2006
dont they have critics to pan da film before its gets to us, so the public can avoid them

seems like the producers dnt know how irritated people are even these [s]so called established actors just obey order [/s] !!

sometimes they make mistakes instead of deleting n editing the bit they just carry on like erm how long does it take or why is the producer/director executive producer/executive director therehuh/

i dnt even think the actors watch the films themswelves after wrapping up they just move unto the next 1 !! im sure theyll be laughin at themselves

If nigerians @ home n in diaspora actually critise them and tell them all these fake accents get on people nerves!!
CelebritiesRe: Ramsey Noah or Desmond Elliot? by LoverBwoy(m): 8:28pm On Jan 12, 2006

BusinessRe: The 25 Banks That Achieved The Recapitalization Requirement by LoverBwoy(m): 6:35pm On Jan 12, 2006
Am not an expert or even close to 1 but .....the world over. companies are merging...typical e.g AOL, Time warner, Japan & UFJ ,Corus n Brazilian Csn, P&G and Gillete, Barclays bought or merge the woolwich....(i bank with them and i didnt see a bit of difference except they offer more and more services)....

As long as they can meet the requirement and provide the service they are meant to and also boost the nigerian economy, and thats 1 of the main reasons for this consolidation.. boost our economy get projects funded without waiting for mantu and Nnamani( government)  to decide, offer more loans, business partnership, insurance, commnunity development, more branches!! more security for inter banking transfers

banking is about financial muscles just imagine a bank from Ghana come in to but about half of our banks that just need N2bn just to get a license or richard branson coming to buy 49% we cant wait for all these to happen the whole world is moving faster everybody is geting bigger...all the auditing in most of our banks are still being done by pricewater copper and co (international companies)

Now banks are talking about going international...west africa..africa n the rest this is a catalyst for growth in the industry!!
We are not used to changes and thats why we are gettin left behind!!!
Charles Soludo either dreaming or not is sayin what will eventually happen take-overs and mergers its alreading happening in therest of the world

there should be room for community banks though for the little gaps in da market!

BusinessRe: The 25 Banks That Achieved The Recapitalization Requirement by LoverBwoy(m): 5:44pm On Jan 10, 2006
anyway about the CBN 25b

http://www.cenbank.org/FAQs/faqconsolidation.htm

experts believe the recapitalisation exercise is a good thing so i support it wholeheartedly!

i believe the people or majority of them at da CBN are experts in their field and are going along with trends in international economy
in a certain interview Soludo said a bank in south africa has a capital base greater than about 40 banks combined in nigeria!!! most of the bank in nigeria are not healthy!! simple
But i also believe some banks should be given community status for grassroots developement.

TravelRe: Why Can't Nigeria Be Like Ghana? by LoverBwoy(m): 3:48pm On Jan 10, 2006
why dnt people want to agree a small country like ghana is relatively better than nigeria..forget the currency stuff the place according to most people that visit the country is clean n generally has a conducive environment!!!
i think denial is part of our culture... we are better than them!!! thats why we goin to the world cup  tongue, i mean who is angola, togo and ghana in football n development

As for nigerian security agencies  grin
its a bit understandable for them to enquiry bbut the manner they'll do it kmt!!  angry

SportsRe: Nigeria Football Quiz 3(Xmas Edition) by LoverBwoy(m): 4:12am On Jan 05, 2006
well over 90% of the games are available on TV

my point about sky sport....its not free but considering over 62% of the population are connected to digital tv.....and if u come out of ur house n sit in a cafe or pub u will watch the game free

what im tryna say is atleast matches are broadcasted to the country involved and accesible to a very high percentage of the population
SportsRe: Nigeria Football Quiz 3(Xmas Edition) by LoverBwoy(m): 3:18am On Jan 05, 2006
Erm Sir,
All Matches involving England are Shown Live!
im not talking about paying for it...i dnt know of any england game people have had to pay for though..if its not on BBC/ITV it will be on Sky sports certainly not Priemership plus
IslamRe: Essence Of Hajj by LoverBwoy(m): 1:25am On Jan 05, 2006
i personally dont think the money spent on pilgrimages is that much.....but the management of the finances involved is the problem...they built this big enumerical( dnt know whats called ) in abuja for several millions if not billion

year after year there are problems involved with the hajj pilgrimage....just few hours to the closure of the main hajj aiport nigerian ministers are still asuring over 23000 people they will be airlifted for hajj shocked
SportsRe: Nigeria Football Quiz 3(Xmas Edition) by LoverBwoy(m): 1:18am On Jan 05, 2006
i agree but in some instance where nigerians cant even watch a game involving nigeria thats awful...for e.g i couldnt even watch the nigeria romania match until after a week online

no national football association will have a website with all the info but some will be useful to make calculated guess or someone on the customer service/research section might help wink
