BusinessRe: Bank Consolidation Fall-out by LoverBwoy(m): 2:10pm On Mar 02, 2006
I think nigeria bank/business are just terrible when it comes to customer service,

I asked my cousin to open a savings account on my behalf in his name so he went there to make enquiries, some guy gave him his personal number and told him N100,000 . I said okay he should ask how long it will take to get internet access and then convert to a domicillary ccount they guy said , why do u need internet access,u cant do anything online anyway and it doesnt work most of the time, and as for domicillary account you have to tell ur cousin (me) to come and see me huh yea rite like i would come just to open an account

When i was speaking with one of my friends that lives there, i asked her to enquiry for me, she said they asked for N50,000 and told her the internet acess would be after 24hrsas long as she requested for it, i sent more than the balance and up till now she's met people that work for the bank and dont even know if they have internet banking or not or they say their system is down, i called them today and they said i should send them an email,

why do they always ask people where they are calling from? huh
why do they always want u to come to their office?

A lady i spoke to that works for STB directed my to her friend in london who tld me to pay 35,000 for the process with 10,000 credited to my account . N10,000 will be deducted monthly for internet access/mantainance, and he keeps asking me why i want a savings account instead of a current account undecided

GTB said i should just wait till i come to nigeria b4 i open an account as its hard to trust anyone with money (okay) and the customer service person said if i call himhe will open a domicillary account for me immediate instead of the 6months, give me immediate internet access, on the same day-thats when i come down----sounds good n honest but icant wait sad

BusinessRe: Richard Branson And Mike Adenuga: Compare And Contrast by LoverBwoy(m): 9:48pm On Mar 01, 2006
i wanted to reply since the topic was posted but i was waitin for something, mike adenuga's background

the thing about branson is that his background is clear and traceable u can get informations about him since his birth till what he is goin to be doing 2moro at 4pm, the school he went to his first business the loans he collected and so on, but nigerian businessmen hmmmm don't worry about the past the thing is, he is rich and nigeria women will be the first to waive that aspect , "abeg na love i wan chop" ?  grin

What was mike adenuga Doin before the GSM era in nigeria

Does he own the company 100% seems like there are alot of india/pakistani involved or maybe they are just he experts

Richard branson doesnt have a villa titled "Virgin villa" as headquarters > he doesnt need to

i dont think Richard ( i called him Mr richard when i met him,he said call me richard cool) Fires people himself

Rhodalyn:
is always like that they always think ''as long as he's abroad he's got loadz of cash''
don't send them any money and more especially when you're a student
wow how do u feel sayin that @ Rhodalyn ??

Josboy4lyf, I'll suggest u keep telling them all the things u need to buy, the rent u need to pay,the amount of taxes u've got to pay u should actually calculate it for them so it remains a lil left , u just need to keep explainin it to them and tell them they are puttin pressure on you to follow those credit card people which can lead to to jail!

The people u know personally who are more likely to need the more, i think u can help them once in a while but explain to them what it takes,

my friend always feel comfortable telling them "dont worry i will send u something" 4 a whole year without deliveryin lol if ur comfortable doing that then do

PoliticsRe: Efcc Traces N62m To Alamieyeseigha Daughter’s Bank Account by LoverBwoy(m): 6:50pm On Mar 01, 2006
HMmmm i dont think she will be prosecuted, her dad is just using the account simple n straight forward! and why cant the press be striaght forward andhelpful they should state the name of the bank, the accounts manager and the actual person that opened or operate the account!!

Ono did obasanjo buy the house for his son or he bought it himself?

the question of where he got the money from should be directed to the son not the father (for now)

I think the president said anyone that has evidence of corruption against him should declare it to the efcc and if there is not evidence u will have eto wait for him to get out of aso rock since he enjoys immunity--which nigerians dont seem to have a problem or knowledge of until the alamaseigh* saga
and please put the case forward dont just sit at home and shout ole' grin
PoliticsRe: Niger Delta: What Is The Problem? by LoverBwoy(m): 6:00pm On Mar 01, 2006
HOW COMeS THE STATE GOVERNORs IN those states never seem to complain about oil spillage or unfair treatment of the locals?

the so called community leaders of these communities are they questioned about the gifts and monies they receive??

if these states/communities are given 100% revenue whatever they do should will just leave them to it?

i think they should be given 100% of the oil money so that the other regions will use their own resources then in 5yrs time lets see who's gonna be blamed if there is still fightin in the niger delta

CrimeRe: Why Are So Many Nigerians Fraudulent? by LoverBwoy(m): 4:47pm On Mar 01, 2006
survival of the fittest some people use their information as a means of survival, someone that receives his/her monthly salary on time can feed the family,pay school fees and still have enough in case of emergency would really see the need for doin this shizzle
But some people are just born or should i say raised to be greedy, oppressive, obstentious! they need to show off so inrespective of what they earn they still want more!!

so sad but true

ps: note i used "some"

why is it that most nigeria newspaper copy and paste news from foreign papers, they can atleast always re-write it!!!!!

All those so called elders should be shot all they do is go about givin people titile n speakin on behalf of the people with conscience, the celebrate day in day out with new cars being donated to them partyin lavishly

It seems the citizens of that country are forever waiting n watchin instead of actually doing something, the next thing will be denying it happened anyway sha like they say in nigeria " God is in control" " we pray God will take us through" grin

Seun i noticed u have a knack of calling places within a city a -city

Seun:
The MyNetcom service might be the answer to your question. It is a "3G Mobile Broadband solution for individual PC users". You pay 75,000 naira (from a newspaper ad) for the equipment and a monthly access fee which depends on the amount of bandwidth you require:

Monthly Access Fees for Round-the-Clock Access
100 Kbps -> 6,000 naira (basic)
300 Kbps -> 20,000 naira (home)
600 Kbps -> 45,000 naira (professional)

From their website, "MyNetcom network coverage is only available in Lagos and in 6 cities namely: Lekki, Victoria-Island, Ikoyi, Surulere, Apapa and Ikeja - up to where you have the international airport.

HealthRe: What Do You Tell a Skinny Guy? by LoverBwoy(m): 12:53am On Feb 23, 2006
When u tell a skinny guy to go to the gym,what exactly is he going to work out? his fitness will only improve and plus his metabolism will increase.

I will suggest eating about 6 times in a day!!! Yup 6 times at regular intervals no just anytime

after breakfast (skipping breakfast is not really good),

eat before lunch around 12 like sandwich with yogurht x2--(chill for a bit before u rush off to do sometime else)

then good lunch Rice n beans, da usual pounded yam n lots of beef ,plenty water_---relax like 20mins

before your dinner try eat something not too light not too heavy

the your dinner medium

eat 6 times a day at regular intervals for like 2weeks then start gyming
